With reference to Brida, would you elaborate on the quest for the other, the soulmate, who completes a soul?
There’s a motto in Alchemy: “Concentrate and dissolve”. As you may know alchemists would, through laboratory studies, try to distill the mercury from the sulfur and then refine the mercury until it converted into gold. This quest would lead them to the Philosopher Stone (which was the solid component) and the Long Life Elixir. All the process of distilling is based on this very simple motto: concentrate – meaning extracting the essence – and dissolve – meaning mixing the essence with something else.
Many disregard that through this routine, alchemists were also training their patience and thus transforming their perception of the world.
I think you can apply this same motto to love: in order to preserve love’s freedom, one has to be able at the same time to dive into its essence and to share it others.

Dear Mandarawa,
Thank you, I understand what you mean. Unless a dream is volatil, while awakening is material.
Since, I have as difficulty to master both. I ofently remember my dreams, if I do recall myself to remember them. Totally not actress into them.
And I’m probably just beginning to realize I could materialise what I want; accepting my faith as big as a wild mustard seed, could move ocean away.
Enjoy

Tania, I wish we could speak in person. Thank you so much for thinking of me enough to write. If it were only so simple … I would love nothing more than for us all to live in harmony, but my marriage of 9 years (in the relationship for 16), and not unhappily, is the issue with having both pieces of cake. I try to absorb and be thankful for all the love I have - rolling around in the icing of the cake for now. I suppose I am like Megan above - thankful, grateful, peaceful to have found TRUELY my soul mate

Rebecca ! Why cant you have both ? how do you know they are not both open to this ? have you told them your situation ?People shouldnt have to choose if they dont want to or feel obliged to ..you may be able to have your cake and eat it to -alot of people do this and it works fine ..if your developed enough to share a soul mate and you know that you can love lots of people in your life and your not a insecure person hey why not ! Just some food for thought …Blessings Tania

Dear Tania and all… having found my one true love and soul mate after being married for 7 years was not easy, but then again so was he. We have known each other 15 years before we realized that though we wish for true love all our life, when it does come and stare at us right on our face we sometimes fail to recognize it right away. Still we are grateful for having found each other, though it’s bittersweet. There are lots of other people who go through life not knowing how it is to really love. We never once thought of leaving our respective families to be with each other, too many people are going to be hurt. We still share our hearts and soul with each other though we are not together. I am very grateful and happy that I have found him, and I know who it is that completes me.
I sincerely hope you find yours…

Dear Wanbliska,
I believe that all things are like dreams, that they are not separate from the mind that sees them so just as our mind can dissolve a dream and create a new one so too can we learn to do this when we are awake. It begins in our imagination but eventually it can become real for us.
Dear Annie,
I think that love is all we need to effect certain transformations, for example creating paradise on earth but for other creations maybe faith is enough for example Santiago in the Alchemist manifesting wind in the dessert.
Thank you to you and others for your replays it is really nice to have people to discuss these things with. :-)
lots of love
Mandarawa

The Philosopher’s stone the Elixir of Life.. The dreams of Men/women..
I have seen a film [I think it was the "She devi'l"] that the protagonists, two beutiful ladies fighting for the heart of ..one man [as you say Paulo, the story of ...three people, the triangle], have found the elixir of immortality. I remember the re-action of the Man at the end refusing to take it saying: I will ‘die’ from BOREDOM to be with you…eternally!
I appreciate your explanation that ‘through this routine the alchemists were training their Patience and thus tranforming their perception of the world. So the answer lies in OUR Soul. To tranform EGO into LOVE and become ONE.?
LOVE,
THELMA

You had me at hello -That is so true for some people and their soulmates ! and also -you complete me ..I love these lines they use in the movies to show two people coming together ..but yes Jessica says it can be tricky for some people in different cultures and countries -for they may already married or have to marry someone else -I guess it all comes down to what they both want out of it and if they want to share there lives and hearts /soul with their soulmate -no matter what the price - but yes I can see that people could be in danger for this but also living in despair or with an aching heart is just plain lonely for some ..but as God says -Loves Pricelessness - Psalm 36:7
How can the price of Gods love be measured ? anyway thats my take on it …and also very funny Hilegarde ..Blessings and Lots of love and light -Tania

There is no doubt when you do encounter your soulmate … the doubt and difficulty is what to do when you have encountered two in one lifetime. Which one takes priority? It would be nice if they were both developed enough on their journeys to be able to live harmoniously, without the constraints of society, to let the love flow freely through all of us, and thus into the soul of the world. I don’t know how to make that happen. I am so fortunate to have found myself, my love, my mate(s), but so heartbroken and pained at the thought of choosing …
Thank you Paulo for sharing your Gift and Knowledge through your writings.

Lol dear hildegarde.
Dear mandarawa,
What do you mean by “dissolve the appearance” of the object?
I Thank you all.
[Reply]
I believe dear Mandarawa that the word you are looking for is create…
After all the distilling process, you have created something new..something ‘new’ is born , from the old…As the serpent sheds his/her old skin, and is reborn, so we can all learn from this process…We ‘die’ and find the courage to be ‘born’ again..We fall and we get up…A transformation has happenned..
I believe that for this transformation to happen, the basic ‘element’ one needs , is love..Love is Beauty….And knowing love, one can learn to become Love Himself/Herself..With one’s Soulmate, one’s Life becomes complete…For, the Other, your true Lover, is You yourself..You are the same, you are One…Love…which can transform everything around to gold-love…
So love creates..
Love and Graditude
Annie

I wonder if we could add something to this motto like concentrate, dissolve and generate. With your mind concentrate on the object then dissolve the appearance of it and then generate in its place something new, something that you would like to perceive.

I think it´s not so easy, only to share.
Of corse you have to give to recieve, give and take is essential ..otherwise the energy freez.
Because sometimes it´s really complicated ..because of what ohter think or do.
For example in some cultures the family decides who the women should get married to, even if this girl loves another man.
If she want to be with the another man she could get killed even.
Or the family not accept their daughters/sons partner because of race or because their poor or something else.
It could be a very high price for true love.
But to rather live in despair it´s that a life?
Should we follow our hearts no matter what ?
I think so … but it´s very hard to do ..in reality.
But we have to try :-)
Love Jessica
