Does this remind anyone of Jesus a little?
Here's a poem about being glad.

Since crossing over to this glorious side,
I’ve been filled with love, peace, and joy inside.
And, my Father is with me every where I go.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know!

You’ve been with me every step of the way,
From the very first step I took one day.
You picked me up from the valley low.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know!

You brought me out of darkness into the marvelous light.
You handle all my battles so why should I fight.
Your love has been with me in a continuous flow.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know!

When I admitted I was a sinner, You made me whole.
When I repented for my sins, You prepared my soul.
When I was submerged in Your name, I felt pure as gold.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know!

When I received your Holy Ghost and spoke in unknown tongue,
As Your Holy Spirit gave the utterance, I knew You had come,
To guide me and keep me, You make me glow.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know!

You help me to live a holy life without shame or sin.
You’re the only One on which I can depend.
You’re always there no matter where I go.
Glad I am Lord? You just don’t know.

— by Delvin D. Seawright

Lord,
I know you love me, but why do hide from me?
I know you love me, but why won't you speak to me?
Lord,
I know you're there, but why aren't you here?
I know you care, but why give me pain.
Lord,
You tell me many things, and play with my mind,
but you leave me distraught, and take away the fun.
Lord,
What do you want, who do you want,
what should i give, what should i take,
you come to me, in so many ways, and faces,
Now everywhere I look, I see you,
but it's not the truth.
are you for real, do you exist,
if you do, show me your face,
who you really are,
because I'm confused.

Thank you Wanbliska. Songs of innocence. A lovely title. Want to hear something? Once I was hiking nude in an American desert. The fear of being deported made me get dressed again pretty soon.

Dear Heart,

Oh woman! "Dancing nude in the sunlight" Softly :)
See, how words here are lessons for all of us. Isn't it magical?
Enjoy sweet Heart.

        SONGS OF INNOCENCE

        by: William Blake (1757-1827)

            Piping down the valleys wild,
            Piping songs of peasant glee,
            On a cloud I saw a child,
And he, laughing, said to me:

'Pipe a song about a lamb!'
So I piped with merry cheer.
            'Piper, pipe that song again;'
So I piped: he wept to hear.

            'Drop thy pipe, thy happy pipe;
Sing thy songs of happy cheer!'
So I sang the same again,
While he wept with joy to hear.

'Piper, sit thee down and write
In a book, that all may read.'
            So he vanished from my sight;
And I plucked a hollow reed,

And I made a rural pen,
And I stain'd the water clear,
And I wrote my happy songs
Every child may joy to hear.

I longer prefer to put some words of the genius man, rather than being a naughty girl...
Happy weekend to all of you.

*Giggles* @ Annie. The word Glad used to be called Gay. I see William Blake is placed in homosexual poetry. Gives another dimension to this painting. Ha!
