Dear Agnieszka, I live in Cyprus a beautiful mediterranean island, I am sure you know. The sea is exactly as yoy prescribe it above, and even more beautiful. The different shades of blue, the horizon, the sky above, the waves, the sound.. But as a child I had a bad experience: I was playing at the beach. My Mother. who was sitting ‘watching’ asked a family-friend boy to put me into the sea so that I would not be burnt by the Sun. He put me and he was pushing me down, down.. and I was nearly drowned. I still remember.. Of course, I go to the beach enjoy the water, but the ..fear is in the back of my mind. Water in not the ELEMENT I have ..mastered yet. Next…life.

p.s. I have seen many films and documentaries of the bottom of the sea. I have heard of the beauty of the deep- sea sounds, but I prefer the …safety of my arm-chair watching them….!

When you look at the surface of the sea….it is sparkling…with light..like million, trillion diamonds spread around.. :-)
and…as I wrote before…the sun is shining at the bottom of the sea..too.

Today we walked next to a river when we suddenly saw a dove in the water fighting for his life.
He used his wings to swim. Of course I realised that he would get drowned so I ran to the side but I stood too high and couldn’t reach the bird. He saw me and tryed to swim to me, I ran to the other side and he followed me…he changed his direction and let him go with the flow, I threw me on the ground and my hands could save him.
When I felt his little heartbeat into my hands my heart smiled for this little miracle of life…we just have to believe in our fight and a guiding hand.
