are these signs in chinese to indicate that signs are difficult to be explained and be understood..??Chinese people though wont have this problem..So maybe in an alligoric way chinese people and those who know chinese are the wise ones who have learnt to practice the language of the signs…Just a thought.. ;)
If I tell that is ugly view,I lie.I find it beautiful, maybe because I live in a small town, where such images are not to be found.I loved to see Viena in the evening.
just a follow-up on Japanese signs
I have read on Saturday WA TV news’ programme that Yoko Ono will be here this Friday 24-10 for a Perth Exhibition of John Lennon’ s Arts.
“Yo, way to go”
Signs are very important!for me they are the Hieroglifs of the path;they are the part of information that are insert in our genetic and our unconsciness…maybe they comme in resonance with the identic signs in outside of our bodys and spiritualbodys, thats why for everyone of us the signs are a unicat.

Signs are everywhere. Its just a matter for us to follow them or read into it.
Signs of no importance is what comes to mind. Man made signs for the material world. To receive something you will need currency. These signs are found on every continent.

whether theyr bad or good, theyr part of our life and language in general. i got used to them and i love them now. =)
Too many signs make us blind for these signs, that show us our way.
Neon Signs represents advertisements saying come and buy… all these colors are great fun. The photo from a big Asian city, perhaps Tokyo is a complete contrast to the Indian tribal area where I work. The tribe has no neon signs, just a few handwritten signs or hand painted signs. Nature still is the surrounding for the tribal people. Do they read the signs in the nature… come and share the beauty? It seems they enjoy to sit outside their houses and just take in each moment of the day.
The “sign” that I am getting from these electric signs in vertical alignment is that….”The Only Way Is Up!” so aim high and reach for a more brighter and beautiful future! :-)
Thank you Paulo :-)

I was teaching a class of young French students this morning who had very little English and I did a lot of drawing on the board to illustrate words they didn’t know in English. I only had to draw a gigantic stylised M on the board and they instantly knew I meant Mc Donald’s. It’s a tad sad that this has become so iconic it’s know everywhere…
Signs, the world of … symbols.

It’s modern art.
I prefer stars on black-out night !
In nowdays culture, no lights brings sensation of danger and uneasiness, for me it is just opposite.
Sight like this represent flight from nature, alienation, solitude imposed by mega-metropolis reality.
