Nobody practices homosexuality in the public or for that matter any sex. That would make people go crazy. And sex would become too common. Because we’ve to do our work, we cannot keep on having sex or even talking about it in the negative sense. That is if hermaphrodites or gays or any other gender or type of sexuality exists, try not to kill but to accept it. Else we will lose precious people. And that precious person can be your sister, your mother, your everything, your love even.

No moral lecture but this, life is too small to correct or point fingers at others and say absurd things about others. Accept it. Respect it. And spend your remaining years by improving the inner you by accepting the outer you, your outer self seen in others.

When Mr. Coelho talked ‘atoms’ and connectedness in The Alchemist… it becomes clear that we are all connected. If we are connected all we have to do is accept others. Understand others.

Love, is after all universal. My thought about this issue is vast. I believe in reincarnation, and the reason why we have homosexuals in our society is because, in their past lives they were men or likewise.And the soul, sometimes cannot act as the gender that it entered, and cannot adapt to the new world.

But the main issue is, why judge someone who didn’t do anything to you? You your self have imperfections. And of course, if we are sinful, the God I know will forgive us, or has already forgiven us, even if we do not apologize at all.

…And that is what we call, everlasting love. I believe that God did not create us and let us die choosing where he’ll put us after death (Heaven/ Hell). People created judgment (what is right and what is wrong/ who is righteous and who is not)…NOT God.

People don’t realize that the bible is God’s autobiography written by people who had personal experiences with him. The bible is God’s way of saying,

“Look what I can do for you if you follow me. My commandments for you are not inside this book but inside your head and your heart where I reside.”

God is in everything and he has given us the tools to move forward and expand. We are the very people in the bible, we require the same resources to nourish our bodies, but we require a spiritual nourishment that is unique to ourselves.

Same sex relationships is not a forbidden act, because love can never be forbidden in the eyes of the creator. His eyes, his thoughts, his admiration is the only entity that needs to be valued.

He sent his son, Jesus, to illustrate his very meaning of love. Jesus himself left us with a commandment that cannot be misinterpreted, “Love one another as I have loved you all.”

God’s Law,

Feed me and you shall be feed thrice-fold
Love me and you shall never go unloved
Live for me and you shall never wander

Is the only law I adhere to.

All the greatest English and French poets, novelists have had at least one same sex relationship.E. Shakespeare, Lord Bryon, Oscar WIlde, etc. Emperor Alexander was known for sleeping with young men in the army. Leonardo Da Vinci had homosexual relations as did Michaelangelo. (The painted and sculpted naked, heavy muscled men all their lives… a source of divine beauty, the human body in its glory.? One who says in the past homosexuality was not know is so ignorant, he is ignorant even of his own ignorance.

If God hated homosexuality, why did He create it? It is not God who hates homosexuality, it is we who hate. God is all-loving (even though the Bible really makes one not believe that; but what is written by man is ever-flawed.)
God did not come down from heaven to tell us rules, we already know everything, because our soul is a part of God. We do not need books to tells us what we should do, we must ask out heart and if you search inside your soul, if you let no evil, greed shake you, you will find that it is very difficult to hate somebody. That is because we are all essentially Good, and that Goodness proves we are from God. We have no right to say what is good or bad; for we know nothing of it. Christians term sexual intercourse as something impure but it causes nobody harm but gives rise to the world’s most beautiful miracle, Life; they resist sex which harms nobody, but do not think twice before slaughtering animals. Killing animals or any living creature, on the other hand is a great sin to Buddhists, but don’t plants have life too? Is it then possible to not kill and be alive? Good and evil are not distinct. “Thou shalt not kill” is a commandment while “Stone not but kill a man who preaches another religion” is a direct order from the Old Testament ‘God’. Do you think the benevolent God will kill people if they do not call His name right? Are not then we better than that ‘God’? Homosexuality was a norm in ancient times, people thought nothing of it. Why do we then be ashamed of something God Himself has given us? To quote He Who Better Not Be Named, “Shall I not drink of the cup God has given me?”

I totally agree. I think Mick narrowed out his experience to all homosexuals. I think he was straight all long but his hatred with women made him thought of having attraction with men. He just needed time to fully accept his past. It does not mean he had successfully modified his sexuality from gay to straight.

Mick, your personal experience is not a proof that anyone or anybody could choose who they want to love. If you tell a straight man to love another man , the thought will be too ridiculous to them and of course they’d resent it. Its just the same with homosexuals. You cant tell them who are they suppose to love.

In the eyes of many same sex relationships are as bad as “mixed race” ones… Yet the only thing wrong in the world is found in the eyes and mindset of the people who think that way.
When two people truly love one another, it doesn’t (shouldn’t!) matter whether or not they are of the same sex or not. Gay people are not a separate race. If anything, they are braver than most of us, as they openly stand up for what they believe in. Just because tradition has taught us that a “perfect” couple has to be a man and a woman it may not necessarily be true. Perfect couples are the ones that love and respect one another. End of.

For the person who says there was no mentioning of homosexuality in the past, I recommend reading up on ancient Greek art and history, medieval European culture and history, and specifically English and French literacy from the 19th century… Might be surprised to find that a large percentage of the most renowned artists were gay, and not necessarily in the closet. Society perhaps was more accepting, than we know…

It is interesting that many people who quote the Bible to prove that same sex relationships are forbidden come from an English speaking country. However, this content is specific of the English translation of the Bible. The Hebrew and Greek original of these verses say that it is forbidden to lie with animals as a man does with a woman. So these verses don’t even mention homosexual relationships. This reference was made by the English translator only.

I don’t want to sound legalistic in this issue, but referring to biblical teachings ,”God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve”… and even in the old testaments, the issues of same sex relationship was already prohibited and even in the New Testament;Now, even we set aside the Holy Bible and God’s commandments regarding this issues, and let us refer to laws of man and morality,it is not that easy to accept since this is not highly accepted in the society even in the past.That is why people who are in this situation ,regardless of their status in life, could not expose themselves being a part or being a human of the 3rd sex. Why the closet husbands exist?? as they could not expose themselves in the realization of who they are. But since modernization comes and morals of the people become low, now they don’t care about the biblical teachings and moral values, people become self righteous thinking of their own self , and giving justification in accepting this relationship is really acceptable and must be acceptable in the society. But, in realtiy, do they really have a normal life being in the same sex relationship??

@ Jenna. I had the same experience. When everything you give out is pure and sincere love and in return you are being used and abused, what could be more painful to that? Yep, we all learned and we live the lifetime lesson it gives us. But sometimes, out of nowhere, you would still sigh and say.. i wish i was loved after all.
Love for the reason alone and nothing else. Some people are still incapable and illiterate to understand the meaning of this word.

Verás, los seres humanos nacemos con un sexo (hombre o mujer). Pero la sexualidad es algo muy diferente. Vos no naciste heterosexual ni tus conocidos nacieron homosexuales. Cada uno construye su sexualidad durante su vida. Si bien es cierto que la homosexualidad en los seres humanos sólo ocupa un 15% eso no implica que sea algo malo.

Te sorprenderá saber que todos nacemos un “50-50″, es decir, bisexuales. Pero como bien sabrás, la mayoría de las personas se inclina por la heterosexualidad, sea por la razón que sea. No me sorprende que te aborrezca una relación homosexual, pues no es tu preferencia. Verás, lo mismo me pasa a mi, cuando pienso en una relación entre hombre y mujer… no la aborrezco, pero no la concibo como adecuada para mi, eso es todo.

Lo importante es vivir y dejar vivir. Siempre respetándose a uno mismo y al otro. Eso es el amor.

I’m amazed that being ‘gay’ is still an issue in this world!

I’m amazed that people still refer to ‘The Bible’ to judge for what’s right and wrong!

According to whom? According to what?
To what was written once upon a time? Like that’s the ONLY truth out there?

When are we gonna stop judging other people and start looking to ourselves!!!
When are we gonna start reflecting in our lives and realities!!
To start the growth from within!!
To look at what really matters for our own sake!!

If there’s gay people out there, is because they exist!! That’s it! That’s all!

Let’s respect each other for who we are!
Weather it’s a choice or not…
We are ALL humans, going through the same stuff the same issues.
And all we want is to happy and experience love in whatever way u need to.
As long as love is your vibration.
That’s what this world needs, LOVE!

When I was in high school i started feeling somthing towards the same sex. it comes and goes tho in my fantasy i still see myself being with my ideal man and i still have that conceived image of me with a man. but there are many times in my life that i felt attracted to women but as i said it comes and goes. but now, hopefully, knowing myself and the world better i’d still want to end up with a man that i will truly, madly, deeply inlove with. on my past experiences all i’ve discovered was that women i chose to give my love to ended up taking advantage of me and using me for their own advantage. the last time i’ve given almost all that i have and all that i am to a woman and i’ve gone crazy when i knew there was no return of anything that i’ve given. from then on i swore to myself, i will never ever fall for a woman again. the pain was so deep that it took me awhile to forgive the person but the pain really never goes away and i intend not to forget the experience for it will serve as a lesson for me, for the years to come and it did me good. now the decision i made of never ever getting attached to a woman the way i did before, i will hold forever.
I have nothing against same sex relationship and i know when love is between two people, there was nothing wrong with it. The only thing I’d hope for is that for some people who have other intentions rather than love, to be with the same sex person should take in consideration that love and respect should be reciprocated in the purest way if not let them go away and let them find someone or someplace where they could find true love.

The bible also gives instructions on how to treat a slave, does that mean that slavery is right? It also says that a rape victim must be stoned to death for she didn’t scream enough to call other people’s attention, is that right?

Is that the book you choose to set your standards as to what is right or wrong?

I remember when my five-year-old niece told me she made friends at pre-school, a classmate who was beautiful and kind. She said that she likes her new friend, very very much. Her face lit up as she said this, and I feel she was very happy about it. So I was happy for her.

But then I saw the worried looks of the adults surrounding her. Is this new friend a girl?

Well my inner question kicked in. Does it matter if its a girl? Will I tell my niece not to show that she likes another girl too much because EVERYBODY thinks its wrong? Since when liking someone’s company — the essence of love — is bad?

Why do men hesitate to hug each other even if they like each other? Whether it is a “friendship” like or “love” like.. they are happy and why not show it?

Why are there so many gays who choose to be buried in the closet.. forever? Some have married, lead a hetero life and found a semblance of happiness. But inside they feel sad because they cannot express who they truly are for fear of condemnation.

Love never plants fear. Judgement does.

Please, we already have enough fear in this world. Please choose love.

Mick.. I was never abused, molested, neglected, and whatever else you may think. I had an active social life and No, I’m not in denial about my non existent abuse either. I had excellent parents who loved and supported me in my interests growing up to prepare me to be successful in this world. They were not happy about my homosexuality due to their dogmatic belief structure, however they have come to terms with the fact that it is like height, it just happens.

Your post makes it seem that all homosexuals are somehow broken and this is a cause of their “problem.” The statistics you’ve quoted are flawed and sound like they come from a program to “fix people”. Please remember, your internal issues are not those of the entire community. I for one did not choose to be homosexual, so please do not speak for me.

We don’t have a problem and we’re not broken.

Does it matter who the 2 souls are? In the prologue of your book, “Valkries”…you and your master are talking, and from the tone it sounds as if he thought women were nothing more than objects. “Magic and women”…I am not sure how his man and, maybe yourself, can preach things about love when perhaps you are not quite open with your own true values on the matter. Women were never given their rightful place in order for balance to exist in this world…so therefore, down thru the ages, since it is a dominantly “male” society, we have experienced suffering of violence as a direct result of “ego”….just my thoughts.

We humans are in fact souls.. this material body of ours is just the clothing for our souls. And our soul is in pair. One side man and other side woman. So we are both male and female. When in a human, man side is dominant that human is born to be man or male in this world. And in that man, female side is recessive and weak. That weak women wants to be strong. She feels herself to be incomplete. For that she is attracted towards other women or some women she thinks is perfect. That’s the same with humans whose stronger side is women. The recessive man is attracted towards dominant man side of other human. This is called sexual attraction between humans. That is why sex is the union of souls. That is why men and women are sexually attracted towards each other. When the balance in these two sides of soul is disturbed, there is a disturbance in sexual preference of that human being. That imbalance in soul needs to be corrected.
