If regrets could kill, I would have been …dead many-many years ago!!
It is the lesson of my life!
Life is governed by time and space. The flow of the river never changes. Everything flees! Eternity is in us, but our bodies are made of the elements of the material world and under the Laws of it.: decline and decay.
Our dreams belong to the spiritual sphere but must be 'lived' in the sensual plains and leave their 'mark' on our soul and colour our Aura. Then our purpose will be fulfiiled. The journey of the soul.

if we do not regret how do we learn,if regrets could kill we all would surely die from them.i feel as we progress we learn to look back with less regret and more compassion and respect.maturity makes us mindfull of others and ourselves , otherwise we would all stay alone .i am trying to look at my own past as a parent would look to a child ,unconditional love and understanding,with knowledge of ourselves we hurt less.i believe we continue to make mistakes though .however with each one we get an oppurtunity to deal with life better and therefore have less regrets.afterall to error is to be human. xxx

Oh, but regrets do kill! When we live in the past and fill ourselves with regrets of things done and not done, things said and not said, we weigh our Selves down. Regrets can grow into cancers and dark heavy shadows of despair. Regrets are dull blades and will not kill quick and clean….but kill, the will.

yes – I agree with your last sentence.
Every day in our life we should remember to give a second and third and…chance to each other. And especially to these people who do not deserve it!

The mistakes we make in the past we can put right now,
if we fail again we get again the opportunity to do it
right until we understand the lesson.
God is full of compassion with us.
God gives us chances all the time. To sense a second chance requires an intimate relationship with ones heart but to realize it requires courage. Courage to face creation and proof your faith and love. It’s a statement to God’s existance.

So, if God offers us a second chance in life, shouldn’t we offer the same to each other?
The new slogan is; ‘Zero tolerance’. If a person cheat on the partner once, get a divorce. If a person get caught using drugs at work, fire him/her. Or, if a person, as described in ‘Veronica decides to die’, gets committed to a mental hospital once, he/she cannot be hired by any company later.
Be generous with second chances.
