The modern Japan is long been called as “Self-searching Era”. On the other hand, there are tendency that it is the reason for “Adults’ Regression Phenomena” such as adults’ growing tendency to put off marriage and declining birthrate. Mr. Coelho, what do you think of the influence toward society of the people’s search for one’s raison d’etre and purpose of life?
I think, that despite all the fanaticism, we are seeing the beginning of an era where feminine values, such as generosity and tolerance, are surfacing again.
This so called “regression” is actually a more honest attitude towards ourselves and what truly motivates us – not what society expects of us.

I had a big day yesterday, just pottering around listening to music.
It was magic. I hope it was ok for you too.

Too much love will kill you….
For the new Queens’s tour!!
I am optimistic, the new Era of freedom of spirit, speach and communications, is here. I belong to the so-called Hippie generation and my children grew together with us. No talking behind ‘closed’ doors, no schools for … boys or for girls!! The children of today know ‘everything’ and they feel free. The danger is , in ‘too much freedom’, has opened the doors to drugs, sex and boredom! The new generations do not know how to …. dream. I hope, life will teach them that our souls need dreaming in order to reach to the stars.
LOVE,
THELMA
I call this the brewing of a “new renaissance” where the more intangible values of life are starting to be sought after more than the the tangible. Somewhere in the Book of Hebrews it says that “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” An Asian Singer, Corinne May, has a song that goes, “Let the world swirl with naysayers Pickled hearts and sour faces What is real is what I cannot see.”
I think the world itself is going through a peeling because the collective soul knows what real is and because it knows the absolute truth, it shakes all things false away.
