A Warrior of light has no ‘certainties’, he jsut has a path to follow, a path to which he tries to adapt depending on the season.

Funny you should publish this today. I was walking along the Victoria Embankment, gazing at the River Thames this afternoon and thinking, Ah…if only! If only I could live in London half the year, during the warmer months, and perhaps in Miami or some similar place in the winter….

Today I visited Portobello Road and the Notting Hill area of London for the first time, and I thought, Yes, I could stay here for a very long time. But not in November, certainly not in January. I have loved cities – London is one of them – but each city has its season. There is othing like London in early summer: the roses in bloom in Kensington Gardens, the swans courting one another.

My ideal would be to follow the seasons back and forth, from one continent to another, from the North to the South and back again – living the life of a sort of modern day nomad, driven to and fro by the changing of the winds and waxing and waning of the sun’s rays. Never too much heat, never too much cold – to be always in a hospitable environment, an inviting climate.

With A Nomad Heart,
Savita

The only certain fact that we have is …the end of the Path, death, our Ithaca. The journey is full of ‘lessons’, pleasures, but misfortunes too.
Growing older, I feel I have learned the lesson of.. adapting to my new …possibilities, but I do not feel I am ‘cut our of the game’! Maturity is the time of enjoying the ‘fruits’ and wisdom that the .. beautiful journey has, until the moment, offered me.
Sometimes I am nostalgic, not for the ‘gymnastics’ I am not able to perform, but for the ‘missed opportunities’, the lack of bravery, the insecurity, the shyness and the postponement of doing something that has resulted in never… acting in time. These are the dangers and the drawbacks of … youth!!
Have a nice and first of all healthy … Autumn life!!
LOVE,
THELMA
