  • And I want to add ….
    The indians thought:
    How will this affect the seventh generation of my descendants?

    We should think in longer terms when we make a change, so it will benefit Mother Earth and also the generations to come ;-)

  • Como podemos cambiar el curso de nuestro destino afectado por nuestros antepasados? Somos victimas, arquitectos o las dos a la misma vez?

  • I believe that everything we do right now will in a systematic way affect our future so it’s all about living the moment but also remember there will be a tomorrow and that our present actions won’t fade as the day ends love to all

  • I like the quote, but I cannot understand.. Shouldn’t we focus on the present instead of looking so far ahead into the future? Or is it a matter of looking to the future to decide what you’re doing in the present is right?

  • that would be the grand-grand children of my grand-grand children :)

    If not thinking so ‘far’, at least we could care for the ones near us..then our descendants would find a better world..

  • If we were all warriors of the light, with the perception of things as they really are… then we could (almost) guarantee our descendants a bright future…

  • Very wise. I’m just preparing a presentation this week about Generational Diversity, and see how many thinkers split various age groups into 4 different generations, supposedly with different traits;
    The Mature born 1920-1940 are true to law and order and authorities
    The Boomers 1940-1960 more into teamwork, but still loyal
    Generation X 1960-1980 a disobedient, playful, creative one
    Millennias 1980-2000 techno experts, highly confident, playful too.

    How great if each generation can improve some on personal freedom and happiness, and give it on to the next, and solve those generational conflicts, arising from thinking fundamentally different.
