Today’s Question by Anne-Marie

People in your books are people from real life ? Or do you get inspirated by people you met in your life?

Flaubert once said that he was Mme Bovary, well, I am my books and they are part of my soul. My characters allow me to explore my soul since they incarnate all my doubts and hopes. Athena embodies my feminine side, my compassionate side. But in this case, she is also a real person, a flight attendant that I saw dancing in Transilvania. We started talking, and this is how the storyline was developed.

  • Gracias por regalarnos atraves de sus escritos la parte mas intima de su ser, siempre he creido que las personas mas valientes son los escritores que aunque inventes historias simpre necesitan de su realidad para enlazar y crear.

  • Well.he said”Madamme Bovary c’est mois”.that is,madamme bovary is me.Even if it really exist the person had inspired you,you put into yoour lines more of yourself, that is why often readers are bend to think that features of chaecters shows traits of the author itself.

  • It is obvious that when we present ourselves, it is our deepest self that we mirror. When we are beautiful ‘inside’ we see beauty around us. When we are happy and in love, we love the whole world. The richer our ‘inner’ world is, the more colourful our … aura is and the music of our soul!
Thank you for your beautiful soul, we experience through your books!
    Love,
    Thelma

  • The truth is that it pained me a little, I remember the story that remarked me a friend of an acquaintance person who works on the plane.
This girl came a day as the destination, I think it was a country like Thailand, down from the plane and entering the airport with his colleagues was found with a dog, who warn their masters that contained drugs.
The drug in this case was a miserable joint, the first thing I thought was that it was something quite unusual for a worker, but he fell for life imprisonment.
She was raped, pasted, while those who wanted to save her could not do anything and end-of-tragedy she committed suicide because she do not stand more …
    So beautiful is life …

  • I like the fact that your characters embody a part of you. I am trying to get that writer side of me to be a bit more developed because it’s been buried somewhere in there for so many years. I’ve always wanted to be a writer but never got around to “doing it”. Until now. I like how the writer’s craft enables you to be more observant. More in tune with people. More empathetic. I like how writer’s seem to have a “6th sense” when it comes to a person’s character primarily because they are able to identify it with one of theirs.
