A most fascinating picture…
I see the large face of the bald man centered in the picture.
The old man standing and a masked man just to left of his face
I also see a shadow of man with a hat standing to the left just behind the nose of the bald man.
The lady with child and behind her another face with lots of hair
In between the old man with the cane and the woman, I can see two children faces. Just under the elbow of the woman, I see another face.
On the first row of stones under the arch, I can see a face of a woman (fourth stone from the left)
To the right of the arch (top of right wall)I can see a woman’s face and just behind it to the right the contours of another face.
To the left of arch on top of wall – five faces… kαι πολλές άλλες ψυχές.

Shadow and light playing tricks with my imagination …discover and have fun.

With kindness,

In this picture to me, the Old Man represents Patriarchy and Logic, he steadfastly looks ahead convinced he is right, upheld by his air of righteuosness.

He never looks within himself to see his Father hold his head in shame, and his Mother who still sees him as the Baby she once held, hoping he will remember the love he was given when first he entered the world.

He doesn’t realise or even see that the pillars he stands between have been created by his own Laws, which have made the prison which he is unaware of he is even in.

His heart is stone, like the walls he has created. Love to him is a foolish sentimentality which he has been determined to shut out.

Only the voices of the Angels have not given up on him.

(went on a bit of journey with this one!)

That’s how I read the cards, Savita.
Glad I am not the only one. Despite having an almost photographic memory I could never remember the proper meanings of each card. So I just scry using the card and that works really brillaintly.

Some of these images seem to me like Tarot cards – especially yesterday’s “Third Column” and today’s “Four People.” When I look at the image, it isn’t just an image; I can “read” them. I could easily use these images and more like them as a set of cards to do a reading. It is hard to explain – this – how these images are different from any other. They have some special quality about them that is hard to describe.

I don’t read Tarot cards in the manner that most people are familiar with, by interpreting the images according to predetermined definitions that can be found in a book. I read them by intuition. The card has no meaning for me until the moment I hold it in my hand, with the querant and their question in mind. Then I “read” the card intuitively – a meaning just comes to me from the images on the card. In this way, a card doesn’t have a “standard” meaning. Each time it is turned over, the meaning, the interpretation is something that comes from a source beyond the card. I learned to read cards this way several years ago, when I finally got serious about reading Tarot and decided to find a teacher. I knew a lady who was well respected in the community of university professors, yogis and spiritual seekers I knew. She had also once done an astrological chart for me with which I was well pleased. She seemed an ordinary person; in other words, she wasn’t the sort to hang one of those signs in front of her shop, with a palm on it, announcing: PSYCHIC. She lived in an ordinary apartment, and did her readings at her kitchen table. So, I ran into her at a spiritual gathering of sorts, and I asked her if she ever took on students. Rather than answering my question, she began to ask me questions. How long had I been interested in the tarot? Several years. Did I have any books on the subject? Many. Had I read them? Yes. “Good!” she said. “Now, throw them out.” I must have had a very shocked look on my face. She smiled. “If you really want to learn to read Tarot, you don’t need a teacher to help you memorize the meanings. You need to forget the meanings you’ve read in the books, the standard meanings of the cards, and learn to read them intuitively.” She explained by giving me an example, the story of a reading she did intuitively. I understood and that was it – end of lesson. “Don’t be afraid, just trust your intuition,” she said.

At any rate, these images have that special quality, a sort of “magic” I would call it, such that they could easily be used as a pack of Tarot cards, to be read intuitively.

Thanks for sharing them with us.

Sincerely,
Savita

Let me add a word: there are 9 faces in that picture.
The old man, the spanish lady, the lady’s baby.
The hairless beardy man’s head (round arc).
At your right, there is a girl’s face looking to the right. (And she looks like her name is Minerva)
At your left, with the bird, are 4 faces:
1. The garnish under the standing bird draws the silhouette of 2 faces looking themselves.
Another one is behind-down the bird, looking at you.
Finally, the last one is formed by the bird’s breast, whit his nose at the bird’s legs.
Greetings from Peru and my apologies because my poor english.

Today I am .. lucky, I could distinguish the four people!!
It gives me the impression of the parallel worlds of existence.

Not all things are always what they seem to be, life is a sort of labyrinth which amazes and challenges us at the same time.
I love Octavio Ocampo’s paintings, illustrating many ways of perceiving reality through illusions. My favourites are “Buddha” and “Nativity.” It is such a lovely game to discover new clues, new images inside the bigger frame!
All the best in the world! :-)

Lots of affection and appreciation,
Carmen Larisa
