Quote of the Week

I believe that when we look for love courageously, it reveals itself, and we attract even more love. If one person really wants us, everyone does. But if we’re alone, we become even more alone. Life is strange…

I want to thank you for your excellent points. You’ve inspired me, and I’m sure that, for my readers who come to view this video, you will inspire them as well.
Thanks for sharing this portion of LeWeb ‘08 in which you were involved. I remember when the internet first showed up and how I was so excited about it, but in particular, very excited about e-mail. I remember thinking e-mail would change the way that we would be able to communicate, not realizing the possibilities that we would have further along in the future (which has arrived in our present moment) to communicate on a much grander scale and with a “world community” through places such as this blog site. I also remember being very nervous about using computers, and specifically the internet, at first, because it wasn’t something that I grew up with nor did I know much about it. My children, on the other hand, grew up learning to use computers in their schools. It soon became an ordinary classroom tool. I remember many times being frustrated with trying to figure out something on my computer and one of my daughters would come home from school and point and click the mouse a couple of times and things would be just as I wanted to see them. I wonder what the next generation will have access to in the coming years…
I was also interested to hear you say that when you are writing a book, it is important for you to live your life and not become too isolated. It’s nice to know this very human side of you, the need for and the appreciation of human contact.
Dear Paulo Coelho,
Being not alone!
Thank you very much for this interview.
We’re contacts on flickr allready, now I would like to introduce you to http://www.mediame.nl A new project I work on, after I made http://www.flickradio.nl
I work for a Dutch Broadcastorganisation, creating internetprojects. Background: writing and directing theatre and radiodrama.
Working on a new website right now, writing nine mini scripts for a new internetmovie.
Kind regards for now,
I follow.

“1,000 thanks” to Harper and Collins too for providing the books on the Internet for free.
it was Katherine and Spencer of course.
Why not have an annual fee or tax on a national level for everyone who have a PC at home and then use that money to pay out to authors, artists, composers, musicians, poets
- because if they can track who is downloading – then they can for sure also develop a tool to see whose works get downloaded and pay an appropriate sum of money to the creator.
Solve the “problem” in the right end. You can never stop the force of curiousity anyway.
It is so good to feel “not alone” Paulo… not alone with our thoughts, not alone with our deeds, not alone with our mistakes… it is so good to be a part of an ever growing community of people who care…
Thank you for being such a good Gardener… ;)… with your crop of hope… and love…
Love, Paul
…At the end of the day…I’m not alone!
Much love dear Paulo
Thank you, Paulo Coelho, for sharing this video with us. We were there with you … after all, in spirit.
I am fascinated with you sharp mind and quick response to everything. I could see that you can go straight to the point of a problem and find the solution with the mark of your personality on it. This is the quality of a real artist: to be genuine and sincere. I wonder which is the most mysteriously attractive aspect of your personality; the ..reputation of being a Magus, the kindness of your soul or your passion and joy for life?
I think that we will have to be … alert for the … next invitation for your readers, so that we will able to meet you.
LOVE,
THELMA
I am going to try to write what I said after your intervention yesterday:
Your last sentences ” i’ m not alone, we’ re not alone “; it is of what I thought when I arrived on your blog
Please allow this link between us
To collect, to understand, to learn, to to learn of, to to act together we can change because unity is strength
Each of us has something to say, knows something, can make something
It misses to each the link, the link who shall allow to unite, to condense all this to obtain a UNITY(UNIT)
It is thus important to use all the communications so internet is formidable
We can learn, connaitre, to communicate, to express himself, to understand the global nature to perceive(collect) every unity(unit)
Very good lecture, dear Paulo. But, let’s remember that very sonner we’ll be reading on-line, directly [as Bill Gates said on may 2007], through amazon kindles, sony readers, and other ebook readers. The screen support for reading is becaming more and more user friendly. This week Penguin Books announced Penguin 2.0, and ASAP we’ll have mashuble books. HapperCollins announced books for Nintendo DS game console. The most important issue here is not exactly the screen support for reading issue [readers, specially young people, DO read on screens] but the market paradigm shift [and, off course, the copyright issue]. Author and Publishers should discuss new ways for the maketing and sales of p-books/e-books [contents, because, in the future, we'll know less and less what is really a book].
Best,
Claudio Soares

“Guess who is coming for dinner?”
Je vais essayer d’écrire ce que je disais hier après votre intervention :
vos dernières phrases “i’m not alone , we’re not alone ” ; c’est ce que j’ai pensé quand je suis arrivé sur votre blog
merci de permettre ce lien entre nous
