What is your opinion on free contents in Internet?
As you can see in my blog, I share as much as I can. The entertainment business thinks that it’s hurting their revenues, which I don’t think it is.
I think that the content is free, beauty is free and you have to share, despite of your human condition.
This is a very important moment to discuss that because they are threatening to pass laws for forbidding people to share their contents. I like to hear your opinion on this.

I received “The Alchemist” as a gift from one of best friends. He already read it and as we were speaking he decided to give me the book. It was the first evening I went to his appartment. I can still remember it so clearly, althogh it has been a while. Since then I bought every book of you, but never kept them. I decided to give the books to my dearest friends, sharing your thoughts and mine about the book. I gave them the books as a gift but also with a requirement. After reading it, it needs to be given to another special person.
My friends also went on buying the books and sharing them with their friends.
I hope you like the way I am sharing your thoughts.
The alchemist has changed my life completely, and I am thinking about this book so often. After I finished my studies, I was looking for a job closely to home as I wanted to stay with my friends and family and of course with my boyfriend. But I got a job offer in Austria, 700 km away from home. I decided to go there. I dont know how things will turn out here, but I have a good feeling about it.

Well if you are a good author, your fans are still going to support your work even if they are available for free.
If you are a good author, you wouldn’t care too much about how much you are earning, but how many people are reading.
Like for me, I’d find the most economical way first to read, if I really like it I’d buy to keep. I’ve been doing this because I’m not at the privilege to buy any books for ‘trying out’. So I only buy good work.
So I guess it boils down to content, not cost :)
La verdad que el poder compartir con los demás libremente es lo mejor que hay y es un sistema de relacionarse y conocer buena gente que la verdad merece la pena.

leyendo las opiniones de todos aquí, me vienen dos simples frases que anteriormente leí (aunq no recuerdo autores) y que creo q gracias a la tecnología y al internet toman más fuerza…
“El conocimiento es un bien que crece, a medida en que se comparte”
“When you get, give… when you learn, TEACH”
Por qué estas frases? porque como mucho se menciona en todos estos comentarios, por medio de internet podemos contactarnos con muchas personas, descargar música o libros que nos gustan y por supuesto informarnos sobre muchas cosas. POR MEDIO DE INTERNET, TENEMOS EL PRIVILEGIO Y LA DICHA DE COMPARTIR CON LOS DEMÁS cosas sencillas, o alguna frase corta que en algún lugar del mundo alguien leera y a quien quiza le sea útil, o le levante el ánimo.. qué se yo, por lo que yo creo que descargar gratis cualquier archivo puede ayudar a hacer más grande el “bien del conocimiento” y también el arte, por qué no?.
Como todo lo creado por el hombre… internet tiene sus cosas buenas y malas… todo depende del uso INDIVIDUAL que querramos darles.

I agree with you. I also like to get contents at free of cost. But how the owner of that content will survive?
He needs money directly or indirectly to make his content more and more beautiful. But Its ok if there is no problem with the owner of the content.
Three days back I had the chance to grab “The Alchemist”.. Finished it off in 3 days ..and then re read some of the parts again..
It is your first book I’ve read and I think I’m yet to grasp the whole message of the story.
However, I would like to tell you that it has made me make an important decision of life.. though I’m not sure whether I would be able to stick to it.. but I think I will.
I guess your book came to my hands at the right time.. it was destined to be.. so that I could decide upon this most important aspect of my life.

Please continue to share content on your blog and in all the ways you choose to.It’s my lifeline, to say the least. In these fragile times, I find we need these conversations, to stay sane and cared for. I can’t find all the words to say how much your presence on the Net has helped me. On my wish-list: I want to be able to read all the pages on your blog right from the first page and that seems like a Herculean task considering I access the Net from a cyber cafe. All those amazing pictures, all those comforting, uplifting,enlightening messages.Someone cares and thank God it’s YOU.

well.. foe my opinion i think its really confusing nowadays to be really kind to share thoughts.. especially when you have already successfully made good-quality books..
seems like the publisher owns the writer’s wisdom and sell it for a price.. in which for the conclusion.. the wisdom just disappears..
i for one would like to share my thoughts as well.. and hope that my thoughts would help others through my stories/sharings .. (this idea is formed up in my head with an inspiration from you.. )
a writer is someone who wants to extend feelings, messages, thoughts to everyone in this world.. inspire them and let them make some good realizations in life…
