How can everyone bring a little peace into the world this christmas?
I think that everyone can bring peace to this world the moment they decide not be ashamed of who they are and act according to their heart’s desires. And when they tell their stories.

I had a hot chocolate this morning with some friends I could not face talking to for a year, it was good catching up with them and having a good laugh. Telling them the truth – about how I went loopy – and so on. They still love me and I love them too.
Love to all and Merry Xmas
Thanks, Pandora, and thanks for noticing. It is good to be back.
I think if everyone remebers that there’s death and one day we all are going to day and will leave everything in this world and we are not gpoing to take anything with us into our grave or into another worl then why don’t leave just good things. if everyone purefy his/her will, wishes, wants then we will bring peace to world and will leave just peace.

My Christmas gift to my Mother this year is to bring her somewhere very special in Spring 2009. She couldn’t believe what it was when I told her and she said that we (myself and my girlfriend) were so good to think of her and to put her first. We brought Christmas magic into the house this year, well thats what my Mother said! :)
Feliz Navidad y Prospero 2009 :)
Peace in the world comes partly from peace with ourself… frustrations, pain, close mindedness, fear and all the negative thoughts that roam through our minds keep us from reaching out, taking the time and letting our guard down. And so we end up projecting what we feel inside.
I am not naive … i am a optimist realist
How nice, true.Because too many times we give up our dreams thinking we do that for somebody, parents so on.But they didnt need it.We must listen to our heart. And love people as they are, even ourselves.
By allowing themselves peace.
(Good to hear/see you back Savita)
There was once a man who used to work in his garage. He never seemed to have time for a good morning, so I never greeted him.He took his own life around this time of year.In his letter to his wife he said nobody ever said hello..
I try to say hiya now to people or thank you.
Last evening I joined 26 other people in our large local church to sing carols.I liked to think maybe we were adding energy to the spirit of peace.
I think that heart can feel more than brain. But we have to understand the meaning of the phrase “act as your heart sings”. Does it mean doing everything you desire without thinking about results, or it means doing everything with love? This is the main thing we have to realise when we try to “act as our heart sings”.
Let your heart sing … with, in and about love ;-)
Yes, it is so true, because it is when we DON’T follow our heart that we eventually become filled with frustration, bitterness, resentment, and even rage. We become “hateful” (hate-filled), and no peace can ever come to a heart that is full of hatred, nor can the hands guided by such a heart bring true and lasting peace into the lives of others. This is why it is so important, as you often remind us, Paulo, that to “change the world” we must start with ourselves. The first step is being true to who we are – to who our heart tells us that we are, not who society tells us we “should” be.
As for the story telling: well, there something magical in sharing our personal stories, either of triumph or defeat. Usually wee only know people just a little. I mean – think of all the people you associate with on a fairly regular basis, some whom you might even count as “friends” or who might be members of your own family, and yet whom you really do not know. You might see a person every day for fifteen years, say hello each time, nod, smile, say “How are you?”, exchange a word or two, but never go deeper than that. Never really “know” one another at all. Then think about what happens when you slow down and take the time to tell and/or listen to a genuine story – one told from the heart – a story about a meaningful personal experience in someone’s life. In that instant, something changes! Suddenly you think, “My gosh! This person is so interesting!” (Someone that you assumed so boring and insignificant all these years, seeing them only on the surface.) Or maybe you say, “This person is so much like me – we have shared the same experience.” In these moments it is not necessary to agree on politics, or share the same religion. It doesn’t matter if one is old and the other young, or if one has a million in his bank account and the other, no bank account at all. The act of story-telling transcends all that. Stories bring us closer together on a very deep and essential, human level; therefore, the sharing of our personal tales is a bridge to peace.
Love to all!

The ‘I love you’ in all the ..languages. A song of my …youth.
Love,
Thelma
The expression of our feelings is the relief of our souls of the burden of .. un-uttered words. Some stories may be told on paper, some by .. dancing, some with a song or music. The most beautiful sound are the words ‘I love you’, ‘Ich liebe dich’ [for our Paul from Austria] and Σ’ ΑΓΑΠΩ, [in my language] and in every language of the World.
Babylon has created many languages, but the meaning is the same.
I love you all and my best wishes for Christmas to you and your families.
LOVE,
THELMA
