My english is very bad, but this photo is so interesting that I have to say something about it. Almoust at once when I looked that photo came land Israel on my mind. I think that Israel is helicopter and the little ant is palestinian.

  4. SFG says:

Definitely the insect because the helicopter has no eyes.
    It is a working mechanism.

  5. T.K. says:

At first glance this photo gave me a nostalgic feeling of being a kid again. Using my imagination with toy bugs and toy helicopters. I found myself smiling and imagining that the ant was trying to overtake the world and suddenly in comes the mighty helicopter to the rescue.

That’s the child in me exhaling.

I so love this series of photos Mr. Coelho. Thanks for posting. A refreshing image that allows not only my perspective to exercise but also the child within to breathe.

  6. Monika says:

I can neither stand helicopters nor ants in my drink!

  7. Alexandra says:

This seem unreal.I wonder is the picture really that?

  8. Per Solvang says:

    Dear Paulo !
I am now in the right place, Brazil, thank God. But I spent 3-4 years in the wrong place, blame it on Paulo Coelho.

I am from Norway, many years ago I went on a one week trip to Barcelona, I liked it so much I missed the return flight on purpose and stayed for a month or so there, then decided to go to Salvador, Brazil instead of going home to Norway.

Thats when the going started to get weird, I bought your book “The Alchemist” at the airport and read it during the flight to Salvador. I couldnt stop thinking about your message, follow your instincts instead of letting other people tell you what to do, so I decided to do just that.

I was kind of in need of directions, I always wanted to be a writer even other people told me you cant live on that, books sells only a few thousand copies. You showed me where to go for inspiration, I decided to go to Andalucia where the adventures of the shepard in your book starts.

After a spell in Rio de Janeiro and Lisboa I arrived in Andalucia, magic struck immediately. At the local billiard club I discovered most of the top ranked players in Spain where living there. I am almost a pro myself so I tought I was coming to heaven, here I Could play billiards at top level and write my book. Went home to Norway after 6 months of travelling with only a small bag to arrange for me moving to the south of Spain.

Which I did, stayed there for 3-4 years, but I played so much billiards I never had time to do some writing.

I am now living in Sao Paulo, but normally i live in your own barrio of Copacabana, Rio. Just ran away from the alto temporada in Rio, too much hassle too much noise, will be back again in Rio after carnival. Hope one day we can have a chopp together somewhere on Av. Atlantica.

I will also invite you to be a facebook friend of mine, there are only 4 Per Solvang at facebook, I am the one in the brazil network.

    Keep up the good work
