i am wondering if you are saying something about the value of magic and trickery, imagination, dreams… versus reality.

these pictures are all (mostly) fun and of a pattern:
a repetitative one of incidence, which one can observe, learn, predict and then adapt and mould to:
something once perhaps magical can become captured in a photo and normalised. the whole ‘is it art’ question.

I used to have a dream and up until now I have pursued it; but the outcome of that legend isnt so legendary for me anymore… the image/representation of that dream in mainstream is now something corporate, hyped, etc.. the value of the essence striped away … the glory all sequenced into a three minute documentary and projected out..
my dream – no longer is a winner for me… because to stand alone at the end – with all the glory – is not what my dream was about… but how it has become to be seen…
where do you go from there!? when in seeking to live in the present moment, you must adhere to something of a set and predicted structure.

ill stop now until i can reframe my answer a tad better!

Even if it weren’t a “trick” photo, its beautiful. Photography keeps record of the beauty God gifted us.

one is not meant to be contained*

when one is free, he lives for more than what the eyes can see….

we should all see the sunshine infront of us,,,,and know that its always there we just have to be open to that light!!!!!!!!! and its going to be in our hands!!!!

It shows that God has put in our hands all the resources of the world, but still, we often misuse them to our harm.

perhaps, a man meets a horizon, kneeled, hands held to the sky, receiving, because he is giving….

What a wonderful shot. So simple.
Sad that we first see the hate of the cigarette (I felt something too)
But I believe that is what made it so special a pic.
Impact.
Whether we smoke or not (I first saw a spliff) it forces us to think

The only thing I do not like about this picture is the sun is used to light a cigarette. The sun is much more useful then that.
