We are humans and we didn’t care. For some (or most) money, power and “to win”, was more important.

And we hurt the heart… if we wanted or not.

The tears will fall from above.

DO NOT TRY TO SAVE THE EARTH, THE EARTH WILL SURVIVE NO MATER WHAT. EVEN AS AN INERT PICE OF ROCK BUT IT WILL SURVIVE. TRY TO SAVE HUMAN KIND. AND FOR THAT HUMANS MUST CHANGE. GOOD LUCK….

Here the cause is not something that started yesterday, but it was a phenomenon that started thousands of years back by cutting trees and making space for we humans to share the land. The loss that has been done in thousands of years cant be undone in a year, a decade or even a century. We should have thought about this atleast few hundred years back so that we have a little bit more time to live on.

I disagree with people who theorize that maybe nature was meant to destory us. Whether or not that is true, humans can’t accept this as a reality, as that would be going against our nature (the will to survive).

I too believe that the planet will take care of herself.
I think that the journey we should be embarking on with a vengeance is to come to the understanding that we have no right to imagine ourselves to be any more significant than what we perceive to be the humblest element of this life experience.

Our minds don’t easily cooperate with this type of thinking. But I believe that our souls crave the simplicity of it.

“Within, within, is where the world’s treasure has always been.”

Save the planet is in a sense putting the emphasis outside our selves. Yet charity does begin at home. If we look after the house and don’t crap on it, then we have a vehicle which is better suited to the real business of developing self. We can lift ourselves up or revel in misery.

The self importance of mankind in the light of the days and nights of Brahma (from the Vedic scriptures) is a tad out of perspective. These scriptures point at a cosmic manifestation that comes and goes on time scales we cannot even begin to conceive.

And all we are worried about is our own petty wants and desires, what is on TV and the price of wine at Tescos.

The scale and omniscience of the cosmic and Divine makes me bow my head in utter humility.

In a sense we need to recognise that it is ourselves that we need to save and in doing so we will aid the evolution of the planet too. Charity begins at home.

In esoteric teachings mankind has been all but wiped out before, the stages of Lemuria and Atlantis; the great floods of mythology which pervade and underpin all cultures. So yes the planet can wipe us out. We are small fry.

However, that though should not have us reaching for the sackcloth and “O dolorosa mea!” It might convey a shared sense of responsibility for our part in this glorious journey which is life; for we are all aspects of the One Life. Each one of us is a single candle blowing in the wind of a Divine purpose we cannot as yet fully comprehend. Together, we are the most glorious rainbow.

Esoteric thought says that we have our existence within the planetary being. This has both spirit and form aspects. The Logos or word made into matter.

Working with both the father and mother aspects of manifestation we co-operate with the evolution of Karma. To raise one above the other is unwise. In the obsession with form-matter we neglect spirit. So by saving the form aspect of the planet and neglecting the spirit aspect we introduce an imbalance. And this imbalance will be reflected for us in the outer world. In times of tension things can go pop.

A little over two thousand years ago, a chap was born in the middle east. If I recall it correctly he had many words to say about how we might go about saving ourselves.

Much of that was to do with transformation. With his courage and fortitude he lit the way. And in his most marvelous of examples he died and was resurrected. This Passion awaits us all. The emphasis should be here.

In which way can each one of us “pick up our cross” and reach out for the spirit. For in focusing on matter it is this which we have neglected.

Is it not time that humanity realises that it is an aspect of the Prodigal Son, which has squandered all the material gifts and maybe just maybe should now reach out its hand, open and un-grasping towards the spirit. For in that way the breath of the Divine will perhaps breathe into us and we will have a new inspiration as to how to proceed.

We Fremen have a saying: “ God created Arrakis to train the faithful”.
