My dear Sido,
I have spoken of the Gaza crisis to among the Palestinian ones and Hebrews. It’s clear that Palestinian people is what need to regain his own DIGNITY. It’s clear that the RICH ONES must help the poor men, but usually is the poor men that help the poor men, because the satiated one doesn’t believe the hungry one.

Paul from Austria has understand: “THE CONFLICT IS CAUSED BY THE HUMAN EGO!!!”
I say: the RICH MAN’s ego = the rich HEBREW like the rich ARAB!!!

The MACROCOSM mirrors him in our MICROCOSM. For me it is easy to understand because my microcosm mirrors to the perfection the actual situation in Gaza like in the world. After years of investigations I have discovered that in my “well” is no “water” because all has been tricked in the other part.:-(

Gina Gina ,

GOD HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR GAZA! ISAIAH WAS A HEBREW PROFETH, AND HE SAID:

“…This, rather, is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; Setting free the oppressed, breaking every yoke;

Sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; Clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own.

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your wound shall quickly be healed; Your vindication shall go before you, and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am! If you remove from your midst oppression, false accusation and malicious speech;

If you bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; Then light shall rise for you in the darkness, and the gloom shall become for you like midday…”
[Isaiah 58:6-10]

I wonder how many children sleep with a shoe beside each ear in that war torn region.I think if only the children were considered much more.It is the children that will be our tomorrow.

IF THE DAY IS DONE (Rabindranath Tagore)

If the day is done, if birds sing no more, if the wind has flagged
tired, then draw the veil of darkness thick upon me, even as thou hast wrapt the earth with the coverlet of sleep and tenderly closed the petals of the drooping lotus at dusk.

From the traveller, whose sack of provisions is empty before the
voyage is ended, whose garment is torn and dustladen, whose strength
is exhausted,

REMOVE SHAME AND POVERTY, and renew his life like a flower under the
cover of thy kindly night. (…BEFORE IS TOO LATE)

Good interview by Riz Khan again from al Jazeera.
As Daniel Baremboin says “military solution is never the solution”. Acceptance from both sides is.
West Eastern Divan Orchestra is made up of Israel West Bank, Syria, Egyp, Jordan and Iranian musicians. If they can talk with each others, that is an encouraging move in the right direction.
The initiative of the U.N. “to probe into the Gaza attacks by Israeli on civilians and U.N. relief groups areas” are welcome.

To make it easier for young children to learn their letters of the alphabet, the letters have been strung to a melody. science shows that learning is more easily accomplished in acronyms, songs, short poems, ect.

what gets young people rocking, learning, changing, growing………..rock and roll!! Music of their area.

I remember the late 50′s and eariler 60′s. I remember the civil rights marches. I remember the violence as police dogs were unleashed on peacful people protesting. I was just a young girl, and it terrified me. I remember the stories of the lynchings, and the killings of my own countrymen on my own cuntrymen. I was terrifed, confused. I would go to bed and cry.

I remember hiding under my desk in school because we were practicing ‘atomic bomb’ drills.

I remember reading the stories of the Holocaust. I was just a little girl. I too suffered because of the Holocaust, profoundly, and I wasn’t even born when it happened.

I remember the Viet Nam era. I remember all the war correspondents reports with pictures so vivid I had nightmares for years.

I remember the soilders when they came home, being spit on, defiled.

And then came rock and roll. Change, a new generation. Rebellion, no more!

I remember the 60′s, the songs, the ideas. I remembering them implanting hope in my mind, my heart.

I would wish that for the young Isralies, and Palestians all of us for that matter. I would want them to be free against tyranny.

I hope they rise up in their own voice. I hope they understand the connection to music, songs, poems etc. I hope they use those tools rather then bullets, rockets and missles.

I also remember the era of ganster rap in the USA. We now have a drug problem so grave here in the States it is bewildering.

Save the planet? How? I think music that sparks the imagination of the young toward peace is the answer. otherwise the only thing they are left with is the mistakes of the genration before them.

To all you young people on this site: Rock on! You go, you do it, believe.

In my humble opinion the most meaningful statement I heard this man say was something to the effect that (paraphrasing) “…the Palestinians need to stop using violence as a means to try to get what they want because it doesn’t bring them what they want”. So I guess when pigs fly there will be peace in the middle east. The UN itself is largely to blame for the abomination of a Hamas leadership. Israel has a right to exist peacefully and a right to defend itself when necessary. It is a recent historical established fact that the Palestinians fire their rockets strategically planted from deep within the vicinity of their civilian population. It’s tragically sad of course that they do this, endangering their own children. It’s also tragically sad that their view towards the Jews is nothing short of full blown Nazism and that they are brainwashing their 5 year old children with these viewpoints with the children shows they play them and in how they are “educating” them. However, this man may be right when he says (paraphrasing) that “…there is no military solution and that they both must learn to exist symmetrically”. Me thinks the only way that will be really possible is for a massive conscious change to occur from within every level of the Palestinian society. There is evidence to suggest that it has already been occurring on the Israeli side. I realize this may not be the prevailing viewpoint of the list of the Hollywood elite signataries, but different viewpoints are especially necessary at this time.

I love Daniel Barenboim playing the piano.. I watched on T.V. all the Sonatas of Beethoven he played in a series of concerts in Berlin last year. I love him playing with J. Du Pré. I admire what he does with the Divan Orchestra. He is a real messenger of Peace, as you are dear Paulo Coelho.
I have read all the names in his manifesto.. So many wonderful, talented people! I wish I could attend a …. party with all of you together, Paulo Coelho, and then I could buy a …dress and Cinderella’s shoes!!!{Joking]
LOVE,
Thelma
p.s. Thank you dearest Paul from Austria for the beautiful video and music. T.

Thank you for putting the name Daniel Barenboim in your blog. I did not know of him until today. Listening to his interview I hear someone who is talking about bringing peace to the people who need it, his heart was in his words, he understands the reasons why the two cultures continue to hate, and war.
It is very true when he said,’…you cannot have an Israel without Palestinians, and a Palestine without Israelis.’ Beautifully said.
