To me it also means to enjoy the moment or the journey instead of focusing on the future or the destination. So often we live for some time in the future, and miss what's right in front of us. In fact, what if there was no end, and there was only the means? Another way to think about this is "being" vs. "doing"...

Thanks for opening our minds,

Not only the warrior, but the world has learnt that every time the means justified the ends something terribly stupid happened.
And that is so because we tend to think that we make the ends, as if we were the Creator and not the creation. There is a purpose to our living and that is, at times, far from our understanding - the All does not fit into the part.
Allow me to quote Clarice Lispector as she goes:

"Renda-se, como eu me rendi. Mergulhe no que você não conhece como eu mergulhei. Não se preocupe em entender, viver ultrapassa qualquer entendimento."

To the best of my translation capacity here it goes in english:

"Give in as I have given in. Dive into the unknown as I have dived. Don't bother to understand, living goes beyond any understanding."

So, it is the way that matter, not the end. It is how you walk the way and not when you get there that counts.

I am presently having my faith tested. Has any one been through this? How did you manage it? what was the outcome?

All the best,

Hernán Vilar
