Paulo Coelho

“The wise are wise only because they love. The foolish are foolish only because they think they can understand love.”

Those who love doesn’t even have to make an effort to show that they do. Sometimes, their mere choice of words or actions, connote how much they have lived, how much they have loved, which makes them wisest.

Fools pretend they know about it – when there is no knowing ~ just feeling and doing

But above all, self-love is the best kind of love.

I think that wise are not only wise because they love…
but because how far they are ready to look with their HearT…
and you become wise trouth life, pain, expirience, lost, love,..and not just because we love…but it is truth that on the end all this things together can make us wise if we look trouth love eyes if we look trouth our HearT…
Love is not state of mind but belongs to HearT… any HearT: happy, broken, wise, foolish, naive, lost,…
but the people who try to understand Love they never met Love….they just hear about Love…and they are looking in the wrong place…they are not foolish they are just lost…
with HearT and Soul, Vesna

The Wise are wise because they learn from their accumulated experience.

May I present another point of view?

Love is not a mystery, it is a validation. If there is a mystery, it’s cause is lack of validation. If there is a cause, what is it’s effect?

It seems to me that the biggest cause of evil is lack of validation. Human beings need validation. Where is the source or proof of what I believe? I find it in that very first moment of birth, when the baby cries, and the mother takes that child to her breast. She knows the child needs, and rather then turn away, she meets/validates that need. Her good is innate. The father? He stands sentinel, and wonders at the beauty he has wrought, released from the lie of machismo, knowing he too partakes.

He is a good man, and he allows others their due, all the while protecting his own. It is in my opinion a foolish man who has not searched the depth and breath of love, wondering, until at last, glorified at it’s cause.

I see Love as a free beautiful choice for some of us.
Once you allow love into your live all is possible, nothing is impossible and the reason is simply the amazing strength of love which can last forever.

Greetings from Amsterdam to all of you who love reading Paulo Coelho and see the beautyful expression in his eyes :-)

I like very much this quote. :) When we love we shouldn’t ask why we love; when we love sometimes it’s not necessary to want something for us.
If someone asks me ‘ What do you prefer? To love or to be loved?’ i think i would answer ‘to love’ , because to love is something celestial, and i want to be able to love. When you love, you defenently will be loved.
