I believe that when we look for love courageously, it reveals itself, and we attract even more love. If one person really wants us, everyone does. But if we’re alone, we become even more alone. Life is strange…

its all on your backround. the way you are developing yourself and in what bacround you grew up. to become awinner in this world you require strong wil power
I don’t believe a winner stands alone, there are all sort of people behind the scene, if you take a sports person for example, they have their trainer, their mentor, their family, friends, etc. to thank for what they have become, they might be the one on their own holding the trophy however, they could not have done it without support.
The title of the Winner stands alone” has a double meaning, like all philosophical questions asked by Paulo, it is designed to stretch our mind, in my opinion, in order for us to realise that no one has the right answer, there is always a different opinion.
It is what we believe in that is important and that determines whether we will go on or not. Listening to what Pierre, Paul ou Jacques can be very stimulating and can help us to change our minds.
Following your path is a personal way of looking at life and is an individual choice, something we believe in without outside interference.
We are all product of our environment, family, system of education, religion, etc.
Individualistic ways of interpreting things are what makes people stand out.
The teaching of philosophy is a valuable asset in that it allows you to look at different point of views, acquiring critical skills, analysing them and making up your own mind about them. It gives you an independent way of reasoning and therefore leads you to become a better adjusted person that can contribute to your community and the world in a positive and responsible way.You become a free thinker.
All students in France, attend philosophy classes (since the XVIII century) the last two years before graduating.
There are very good examples of primary schools that have started implementing a philosophy program like Reggio’ Emilia in Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden the U.S. France, etc.
I hope there will be many many more.

as i am the 1st one today,,,, i havent read yet the chapter no, 4 – but i would like to focus my words and opinion of a winner!
as we all know life has winners of all kind,,, and loosers as well…… sometimes i am not sure who r the winners and who r the loosers,,,,,
and in my own feeling – one can feel a complete winner inside himself,,,, even if society looks at him differentely,,, so it all depends of our self esteem,,,,
and if we r winners -in the society,,,,,not alwys we feel that way, even all r looking at us….
so i think self esteem is helping a lot for a winner to stand a lon or the way he or she feels,,,,,,
we can all be winners in our own way!!!!
so a winner can stand alone- not lonely and other can stand with others,,,, and one of them can feel the winner without EL APLAUSO!!!!
