Quote of the Day

by Paulo Coelho on February 23, 2009

Paulo Coelho

No matter how many detours and adjustments it made, the caravan moved towards the same compass point. Once obstacles were overcome, it returned to its course, sighting on a star that indicated the location of the oasis. When people saw the star shining in the morning sky, they knew they were on the right course towards water palm trees, shelter, and other people.
(The Alchemist)

Living in harmony with the nature is a way to find many solutions to every day life.I really like watching the stars in a clear night. That way I remember that there is something, somebody really great ,mighty ,that is above everything .And,it gives me peace of mind, because someone so mighty must be just and good.I am sorry I didnt see the new comet.

:No matter how many detours and adjustments we make, the caravan we follow moves towards the same compass point. Once obstacles are overcome, we return to our course, sighting on a star that indicates the location of the oasis we seek. When we see the star shining in the morning sky, we know we are on the right course towards the fulfillment of our desires.

:No matter how many detours and adjustments he makes, the camel he rides moves towards the same compass point. Once obstacles are overcome, he returns to his course, sighting on a star that indicates the location of the oasis he seeks. When he sees the star shining in the morning sky, he knows he is on the right course towards the fulfillment of his desires.

:No matter how many detours he takes down winding back-roads, his old Chevy pickup bumps along the dusty dirt tracks and eventually turns towards the same compass point. Once all the obstacles he faces are overcome, he will return to his course, sighting on a star that indicates the location of the sanctuary he seeks – that twenty-six acres of pine and hardwood and yaupon, tucked away behind Brown’s corn field, down that tiny cut-off road that no one notices but those who have business there. When he sees the star shining in the morning sky, peeking above the tallest trees on the horizon east of town, he will know that he is on the right course towards the fulfillment of his desires.

I just felt like playing around a bit, to see how the words would sound, how the meaning might reveal itself to me more clearly if the subject were singular, more personal. Hope you don’t mind!

Yes, maybe we all have our star to guide us through… No matter how tough the obstacles are, we always find our way back… Or more precisely our destiny finds us back… This I can say through my experience as I go towards my journey… The urgency and numerous events happening are saying that am close to where I need to be… With faith, belief and a little doubt, am moving on… Towards my destiny…
