it happens but not always,,, and yes we should be patient and we should know how to deal with,,,, all is relative,,, some inevitable happens and we r o,k with this event… and sometimes we do our best to go on and to change it to some possitive happenning,,, but the attitud!!!! is the key here,,, and we should learn attitude!! in order to behave the best and to bring the possitive results!!! it works almost always.

“The inevitable always happens. We require only the discipline and patience to deal with it”.(The Fifth Mountain),before and after “event”-otherwise,we either postpone “the Miracle”,or make “the Process” reverse.

My dear/est Paul from Austria, we do not .. disagree!! Maybe my destination on the 19th of March was in ….the Plan, my destiny! To meet the most famous author of our times! This is not for ..sure a coincidence! It is a ..happy, majestic Destiny. So are you and all the friends here in the Blog. The same, I consider my family and every person and day in our lives on this Planet! But who is .. behind the Scene and moves the … strings?? Can we change anything? And if we CAN change then we must … KNOW first our Destiny and then have the Will to change it. What about the Destinies of the people that their ‘own’ destiny is interwoven with our destiny? They may … enjoy it and do not want to … change anything? ;]
So I think we will have a lot of discussion in Paris!![Remember I am a little .. stubborn!! You must have good ..arguments to .. make me change my mind! ;]
LOVE,
Thelma.
p.s. The person who has read my palm a ..hundred years ago, lives in .. Austria, remember?

the inevitable isn’t always a bad thing…. it’s like a rhythm – one that is played out… but just remember who the composer is, and then this lessens fear..

and yes, patience and discipline ARE key.

but its always good to take the ‘inevitable’ as an opportunity right? to create change, transformation, closure, etc.

so – no worries (inshar allah)

Good advice! I try to remind myself of this anytime that I get stressed over a big event:

Christmas WILL come – and go – even if all the presents do not get wrapped. At a certain point, it’s time to stop working and just enjoy the occasion.

The plane WILL take off – with me on it or not – whether I am absolutely certain that I packed everything I will need or not. At a certain point, it’s time to stop worrying and fussing and just get on the plane.

The vacation WILL arrive – and may be all the better for it – even if I forgot to make some of the reservations, failed to print out certain maps, or never got around to reading cover-to-cover all the guide books I purchased. At a certain point, it is time to just jump in the car and go!

The wedding WILL happen, and people WILL be happy, even if every little detail is not exactly “perfect.” At a certain point, it is time to simply take a deep breath and enjoy. (Though I’ve never had a wedding myself, I’ve noticed that few brides seem to actually “enjoy” their wedding day – they are too stressed over preparations. Most that I have know, ended up crying and distraught at some point.)

The baby WILL be born, even if all the items on the gift registry have not yet been purchased, and even if all the “how to” baby books have not been read. After all, all the baby REALLY needs is mom…and dad. (I think I held off my own labor for three full days – it kept coming and going – because I felt I wasn’t yet completely prepared.) At a certain point, it’s time to just let go…and let God do the rest.

As a pseudo-philosophical statement this starts off on the wrong foot – there are two problems with it:
1.To say that the “inevitable always happens” is redundant!
Inevitable derives from the Latin word vitare (to avoid) and the prefix in (meaning not or without). It refers to something that cannot be avoided.
2. to say we require ONLY the discipline and patience infers that discipline and patience are one thing.
Perhaps you should have written: “Discipline and patience are required in order to better deal with the inevitable.”
Perhaps I am being disingenious here, but I find fault with your “philosophical” statements simply because, at first read, they sound like philosophical statements, but on closer inspection they are merely statements.

” Πεπρωμένον φυγείν αδύνατον” = To avoid destiny it is impossible. This is an ancient Greek axiom.

I had a lot of discussions and I always wonder about destiny and Karma and free will and the meaning of Sinn. I still do not know where the truth lies and if we will ever succeed in … mastering our destiny.. ;]
LOVE,
Thelma

I will always have to agree with this quote. There is no point in ever getting stressed out about anything, just being prepared for the worst and best in life at any moment will always bring you forward in life. One should always be open to therapy, if it gets to be too much get some help with your problems.
