Wendy that’s so beautiful!

It is like that, i can say! Most important thing though, remember, is to Breath, breath into the posture and with your exhale, release the tension.

I’ve been doing yoga for as long as i can remember, even before it became a fad here in the states. Which was for me, just stretching and focusing and keeping resilient… Now at 34 I can do the splits better than when I was 20 and I have better control of my body than I ever did. Although I did tend to be quite flexible, but of course I had to work on it… I had trouble with my balance, it used to be so hard to balance on one leg… Now I’m better at it. :D

It was more than thoughtful of you to share with us some of your wonderful favorite artists, all of them are lovely, and they left a great treasure behind them.

From my point of view the most interesting of the six or seven, is Rene Magrite, because there’s a lot to learn from him than the others , for exemple “La trahison des image” painting shows a pipe, but he wrote below it, “Ceci n’est une pipe”.

“The famous pipe how people reproached me for it, and yet could you stuff my pipe? NO, it’s just representation, is it not?. SO if I had written on a picture “This is a pipe”, I’d have been lying”. Said Magrite, and this is what the genius of the 20ht century said” The art is a lie that approaches us to the truth”.

So the painting is not just a symbol, but the idea behind it, the same with “La reproduction interdit”, your favorit work of Magrite,
standing in front of mirror, but he can’t see himself only the back of his head, “I make use of painting to render thoughts visible”, he said.

The same with his work an egg in the cage, two different symbols they were unrelated, and this mystery was preaching by others after him.

We all are glad, and delighted to know your favorite painters, there’s a lot out there, and please we want to see more……..

thank-you

Blue Woman Invocation
Blue woman of cleansing waters refresh our spirits, dance in our dreams and divine a new day. May the fluid beauty of your body aid us to breathe and grow, be free and flow. Blessings and Blissings, Karen

i think its unique…
i wrote a poem about yoga that i actually read it this morning in my poetry writing workshop.
i would like to share it:

As i breathe deeply i succumb to the pain
this tender pain full of rapturous delight
my glistening body, so fragil, moving along with the sacred mantra
spreading my delicate wings, with each pose stretching a bit more

so much lust to find glory

now my heart is beating rapidly
i know i am near
i have to endure this joyful pain
i am
so
close…
i have reached my soul!

now i lay motionless like a sleeping child
in time for redemption

The naked woman!
There is nothing more beautiful in creation than the man’s and the woman’s body! Without the .. mask! Simple and beautiful, with the natural .. shyness on. ;]
LOVE,
Thelma

She’s doing yoga. But her other leg looks like a snake and seems like she’s scratching her back??

Or even the snake leg looks like it’s an extension of her arm and she has only one left leg.

Did I just butcher the painting? sorry!
