    Dear Sefer Jan,
I think the world, or rather in particular, the world’s human population is always in a crisis/chance situation and as Paulo and you here, have so rightfully implied… the word happiness is an illusion…
I believe the way out of (sorry to simplify this in a nutshell due to my lack of time) this present “man made” visualization of a “crisis” is to…

    - stop living in the past
    - start living in the present
    - and start “building” for the future…

    … of our chirldren… and our chidren’s children…

Love, especially to our children and their future habitat, Paul ♡

  • Dear Paul from Austria;

This blog is the area of real freedom, thanks God we are aware of this. But when I think of whole humankind, I feel that “a Neo” is speaking inside me, maybe he is trying to get in contact with me and take me to The Matrix, yes I am just kidding :-)

If being serious, I started asking this question after listening to Paulo Coelho’s thoughts about “happines”, where he says that people have invented this word after the Industrial Revolution. His words caused me interrogate all that surrounds us today and ask if we are in a right direction ;-)

    Loves…

  • I think of the times that yes I sat looking into my friends eyes over the table, or at a party, and yes it is very magical to do so.

But I like the internet, because it is a connection to the world, with which I would not of otherwise of had.

    It is a huge gift.

Oops sorry, I meant to close with “real Life”… guess I must have Love on my mind… ;) Paul

I know a family who live in a 3 story house… and they play poker with each other between floors… via internet ;) ;( very unsociable

… and dear SefeR, the answer of course to your last question is most definitely… NO! Like many things in life, the Internet is both a curse & a blessing at the same time… we dare not rely upon it solely, to connect with others…

… Last week in Paris, Paulo gave us the opportunity to embrace and to look into the eyes of those with whom we often interact in this wonderful Blog… and through those eyes… I saw beautiful souls…

Thank you once again dear Paulo,

… and this can be compared to your intelligent philosophy of allowing readers insight into your “Works” via the web… most web readers, I’m quite sure, do want to hold these marvelous books in their hands thereafter…

It’s the same in the world of business… thank God… in that although video conferencing is very prevalent in times of climbing travel expences… for the closing of important phases or contracts… we still want to look our business “partner” in the eye & shake his hand… and “Adwords” ;-)

Love, and reach out beyond the net to embrace… real Love, Paul

  • Were there actually families that sat at tables and talked and shared emotions and dreams?(joking kind of)
Families are so complex and that picture is what I am most familiar with. Have to say I have shared thoughts on blogs I would have never shared at a table.

  • Querido Paulo,

    MARG,

    Ca

  • That kid is smart ;)

Children always wonder about things that are “natural” to us, or have been imposed “naturally” on us…Like the example with the clock-wise or counter clock-wise direction in Paulos’s Veronica Decides To DIe..I always wondered about things like that, and the answer was given to me in this book…
    Thank you
    Love and Graditude

  • haha.. i find it hard to imagine how people lived without light or heaters long ago… or without books.. it was even harder for me to imagine that when i was 5, i think that at that age i actually thought that these things have always existed just as my hair eyes or nose always have :)

  • Well, we used to … drink coffee and eat and .. look into the eyes of the others.
Paulo Coelho’s party gave us the opportunity to meet some from our friends, Warriors of the Light, in flesh. Thank you, Paulo Coelho, for making it happen! We had the opporunity to … touch you and look into your eyes too. Thank you for being there. I love you.
    LOVE,

In some way technology has changed our life so it has done with our points of view and our perception. The question is “are we in a right direction?”

Is it right to put a human in a constricted cell and give him the internet and make him believe he is free, only because he can get in contact with anyone around the world?
