My dilemmas unfold everyday when I wake up. I am never sure of my actions and always think that there must have been a better way to deal with the situation than the way I actually did. Why can I never be satisfied….I feel I always have my thirst unquenched, courtesy my own actions. I am my biggest friend as well as my biggest enemy. I am my biggest critic. I can never reach heights in my life. I am afraid that I will either be doomed to death under tragic circumstances in the near future before I have the time to fulfill my desires or I will be sentenced to a long, boring, colorless and unimaginative life. The problem is that I cannot find any tool to solve this problem, nor do I have any weapon to fight it. As a result, I am still stuck at the place from where I started. Is this an exaggeration? Is this the rambling of a pessimist. I do not know.

I still have a dream of Freedom for Cuba.. it is difficult with all the repression. The journalist.. Jorge Alberto Liriano Linares, was beated in jail, and sent to a punishment celd. He needs the interest or at least the curiosity of all the world in this matter!
There are not human rights in Cuba!. Not body who likes to read, and think about life phisophies and principles.. cares… about freedom and human righst… any more… (?).
My name is Beatriz M. Frankquez, I do care.. and you? spread the word!.

In a day like any other day.. I think in a treasure I have, that not every body has.. I think about freedom.
Freedom of speech… freedom to be.. freedom to do things… freedom to request things…

I think of a new President in the country where I live, Barak Obama, and abut everybody admiring him.. because he is the first black american to become president!… but I see in him something more.. the freedom he had.. to reach that position!. In My country Cuba..
there is not that choice, there is a black man .. many black men, who are in prison.. like Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet, who could be the president of a new Cuba.. but he is in jail… like many others.. who could also be presidents… free speech journalists.. free doctors.. free writers… freee poets…

And not body thinks often in that… if you have freedom, you are rich.. you have a treasure!.

I have a dream: Freedom. signed: a cuban.

TWO FACES!!

In Hindu mythology, there exists some people (Ravana, Brahma etc) who had more than one faces. In my childhood, I always wondered how difficult it would have been in maintaining those faces. Which one to show, which one to hide, which one loved smiling and which one loved to frown always. What if, they would have started speaking together? How one mind was able to control these many faces?

A long ago, I had realized that I have two faces but you can see only one. The other one is hidden but ‘he’ is uncontrolled. ‘He’ is FREE. ‘He’ thinks what ‘he’ likes, ‘he’ does what ‘he’ wants and ‘he’ loves to stare at my visible face.

“‘He’ keeps on watching me doing things. He knows what goes in my mind. Everything what I do, moves in a slow motion against his eyes. He never tells me whether he likes me or not and never shows any sort of emotions. He just looks at me as he wants to say something. I love my this face because he is a nice friend and exactly knows about my desires.”

(Written by my visible face…)

“My visible one looks scary but thinks he is the only one left here in this heaven. He never thinks before doing and when it comes to show off, he tries to steal the show. He is a real bad mate and smiles a lot. He hates all sort of public affection and emotions. He gets screwed at each and every place but shows his positive side which is fake. He is confused and facing an identity crisis. He never loves his current situation because he thinks he deserves more.”

(Written by my invisible face)

P.S. I am mad or near to that serenity..

Today I am recovering from the spoils of high living and hard loving. No, not drink, although there was some of that, and no, not a lover’s caress, although I received that, too. My youngest son, the one I have always felt took second shift to his brother, my work, my ego and its petty fears, came to visit. I was surrounded by he and his friends and their interests and gladly took a backseat. The story is not finished, but he’s okay. Better than okay. He’s loved, and not just by his dad and me. He’s built a life and we’re allowed a part of it, and I’m so blessed that I weep.

What a foolish day, and foolish way…

“The idea of foolery and jesting is a time-honored and sacred tradition. In several Native American traditions, there are ticksters and sacred clowns whose path is to teach through humor and disruption.. Joking, mockery, and the antics of the madman shake people out of their habitual thinking and actions, moving them into new relationships with the sacred and with spirit.

In Europe, the tradition of the jester and fool is widespread, stemming from a time when there was no free speech. The fool was considered a twin soul to the royal leader, though one touched with childlike madness. This insanity was considered a sacred condition, a touch of the divine, and it exempted the fool from the normal rules, laws, and codes of conduct. The fool was able to say things, point out incongruities and contradictions, and reveal hypocrisy. He did it with laughter, wild antics, bawdy jokes, and rude language. In many cases, jesters and fools were the only ones who could tell the ruling classes some hard facts.

This is not always a comfortable or safe role – jesters and clowns often came to a bad end. A lot of times, our beloved class clown wound up in detention.

April, from its first foolish day onward, is just such a magical time. We can move our awareness inward to that tiny bright spot of madness to find where desire and delight touch.

We are the fool.” – Gail Wood

Happy April foolish month!

Bree – did you ever play the childhood playground game “what’s the time Mr. Wolf?”
i think our lives can be like this in some respects… trying to reach the goal line whilst having to navigate the ‘wolf’s decision [who knows what the wolf may be in reality]…
but our hearts become attuned and we are like a dog or cat who knows when their owner is home, or even close to home… or like loved ones who know when the other is calling on the phone before it rings…
there are just some synchonisities that our soul’s become part of : a rhythm.
so i wonder what your 11 minutes are all about ;o)

Today another lesson to learn like everyday.I have insulted someone in vain. Not that i approve that we should insult people(even if it’s good sometimes),lol, but I thought I was right although I was wrong.I apologised to that person and I felt very bad,you know what because my biggest problem is to be too impulsive at times. It’s good in a certain field, lol, but it destroys all the rest.Yeap, this wasn’t an april fool’s joke what I got when I opened my mailbox but that’s ok.I didn’t let my problems growing,I phoned right away. There’s always a person in a worse situation than yours and that’s what we need to remember instead of complaining all the time, and to try to tame the wild horse inside of you which is hard work some days!

Alexandra yeah I’ve seen them too!I had the same thing you had(I wish, lol)since I don’t smoke anymore anything, wine would do,lol.Anyone has some good jokes? We need a good laugh please?

Have a great day and remember despite of all of your problems and we all have problems, all, there’s always someone in a worse situation than yours.
:)

An exerpt from my post about what I’ve learned from Charlie:
…Charlie loves everyone. He is not afraid or embarrassed to show his affections for people or other dogs. He’ll lick you to death if he feels like it and then sometimes, he’ll just lick you once (this is related to the second factor, knowing what he wants). He loves to be held and petted. He can put a smile on anyone’s face. Charlie is confident in the love area…

For a 25year old I’m dreadful with technology, so not sure who will get to read this, or what I’m expecting out of puting this out there….
I’m one who ALWAYS sees the time 11:11am. After questioning this, and finding out there is more to it, I have noticed that 11 is ALWAYS the number around me, I see nearly every 11th minute of every hour…. I have noticed that in Paulos books 11 comes up alot… Can anyone give me more insight into this???
