Readers of your books, besides the joy of reading, find concrete spiritual directions for life… Do you think that your messages find their way to a specific type of readers, or you write novels without thinking about your reader?
I don’t give concrete spiritual directions for life, because living is the only way to learn. I am a writer, first and foremost. I always had the need to write, despite the outer world. I believe that it is this need to keep on understanding myself and questioning the world that motivates me the most. The miracle happens when this inner dialogue gets out in the world and touches other souls. Reaching within one’s soul is what links you to others. I profoundly belive in John Donne’s words: “No Man is an Island”.

And what came to me, as I was reading Paulo's response, was a question:
Are islands really even islands? I had to double-check what my intuition was telling me, so I searched it:

Of course, an island looks as though it is separate… and as Savita (whose response I had not yet read when the thought came to me!)said, we can build a “bridge” from one to another… but whether or not the bridge comes about on the surface, the island is connected DEEP DOWN to the earth and therefore also to the oneness of the whole – whether the island itself ever knows it or not.
Witness: We should all observe everything revealed: We as humans must understand that we have a great learning capacity that goes beyond what we see, hear, taste, smell, think, feel, and even encounter. We must search for truth, whether invisible or not, and we know it when it is revealed, even in your books (mind, heart, experience).
Keep sharing….

Reading Raphael’s question, your first line Paulo, is the first thought that came to my mind… ‘when did you ever give concrete spiritual directions? LOL

I love that reply ,is one of the best .
If we think of the waters of life as symbolic of the subconscious realm of human emotions, we may find ourselves, at times, floating upon a land-mass that appears wholly disconnected from the mainland of logic and reason. However, as you suggest, Paulo, there is always the possibility of building bridges. Thus, we invite others to join us on our explorations into this nether-realm of the unconscious, this place where the norms of reason no longer dictate the limits of the imagination, where the solidity of logic no longer dominates and negates what our soul can envision.
Your books, quotes and wisdom have reach so many people and given Hope to …. at least 100,000,000 people! Even if, just because you are humble, you do not want to admit it, your SPIRIT guides us towards the Light.
LOVE,
Thelma
