Today’s question by the reader : Zoula

Spirituality is the core of your works. You certainly influenced the life of millions through this book, but few people know what were the powers influencing you?

I think my spirituality came from curiosity and, later, by understanding there is a silent presence around myself and I don’t try to explain it but I try to live my faith according to the things I believe.

Yes,for sure ,is a source of inspiration for many.I dont know why,but I am tempted to link your style to Phylosophy, maybe in the sense that you make people think. In your books we find the theme of the quest, the search of our meaning in that world.I love the way you put in the light biblical figures.More,I love the way you present “the feminine side of God.”Love,Alexandra

Spiritual=Connected with the human spirit, rather than the body or physical things.
We, all human beings, as children have spiritual experiences that after the seventh year of our life, we gradually forget. We try to use our logic- mind and .. learn! But knowledge is already inside us. We just have to find the way to let it shine. To remember who we are, from where we come and where we are going.
LOVE,
Thelma

“To live my faith according to the things I believe” – a good definition of “integrity.”

“Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.”
Ayn Rand

Dear Paulo – as i read your response suddenly something materialsed in words and understanding that no one has really put so clearly before perhaps.

I have just been thinking of this silence in the last half hour…. it is true i feel, that as humans mature they accept as they become more aware of this silence. those who are young are still competative, untuned in etc… and liable to making all kinds of intrusions of this sacred stillness; but because they are still at the centre of the world and in high hopes of changing the world.
One accepts the silence and enters a sort of prayerful devotion – not sleep or slumber, but a prayer in ones life… because you know that each one of our own effects are as the butterfly effect – the consequences are there for our neighbours… so we listen to the “song of the silence” and cease to compete.
It’s funny, but perhaps this has been one of the greatest challenges for me until now: trying to understand this obedient devotion to what i once conceived as too mechanical or unresponsive.
Yet in learning to be a team leader at work, i actually discovered the almost absolute necessity of this silent song for allowing the rhythm of life to flow freely.
I just realised that at last i understand more completely the mystery – and that it has been a trying time along its path to discovery, i have had to explain it in part … perhaps though at heart i like to be teaching/ an instructor.

So thankyou for your answer that helps to demyth the mystery for us mortal spirits ;o))
best regards.
Catherine
