For sure,because is so easy giving up.But many times if we just try to withstand the difficulties just a little bit more, we might have the glory.Courage really makes the difference,we just cant do anything without courage.
I think,Persistance- it is more a feminine Power and -Courage a Masculin one !

I do wonder about the manic obsessive aspect of it.

Yes persistence and courage no matter what.
But to know it and use it is very different thing !
Sometimes I loose persistence when I should not, though I know value of it.
