  • I believe all that happens in my life has something to learn me to be more humble and alert and also gives me a chance to see the soul within people.
The meetings is very important, and I have met many people lately that has thought me something about their life, and also I can understand myself better.
To see things from up above as the eagles.

I do not regret anything, people showing up in my life for a reason.
Our paths crosses for a while, some people for longer time some people for just an instance.

I believe that God carries me when I think I can´t go a step further for a while.
I have gived God my fears now, and what is suppose to happen happens.
I tires of being scared, I move on know :-)

    Love and light

  • Orly, true words.

Sometimes we have to regain our courage. And sometimes it takes a long time until the opportunity comes again… although - if we wanted to act on it, and if we regretted for not acting on it in the past, then we should definitely do this now. If it’s still something we feel would be right.

This reminds me about the book buying of Paulo, when he was traveling and stepped in a church and he did not buy a book about the church (Was it so?), after someone had offered for him to do it. But later he regret it and when one day he went back to that church, the man wasn’t the same, there, but Paulo this time got another opportunity.

:) And we have similar opportunities - we just have to notice them and act on them if we want to seize them.

    Love,
    L.L.

  • we sometimes need to have our courage to undrerstand- and take the opportunity- some times we need a lot of courage when opportunity is in our door- and we r not sure if thats the moment to change path and take a different direction with that new opprtunity,,,
so its tru what u say if they go it might take a long time to come back—
and our life is ever a huge chalenge,

  • If somebody say to me:
Would you like to drink a coffee,or water,or a beer with me?
Even if I `m not thirsty,I will like to share this feeling-to share the wisdom ,that probibly this person try to share with me during the time we seat together and drink/speak!

That`s why I`v learned from childhood,Never say :No,Thannk you! if sombody gives you a piece of” Bread “,
    Be Thankful and say :Yes,Please!

Since,I`m in Austria (19 years),I´v often heard “No Thank You”,more than “Yes,Please!” because of the material thinking:(I have enough money to buy myself one!or Why should I drink if I´m not thirsty?)

Just because maybe “The Angels Try TO SHARE through THIS PERSON WISDOM &LOVE”

But most important of ALL that IS:”THE FREE WILL”

    Love,

  • But they do come back again if we start to live again, just not the same ones in the same way.

  • Before seizing, we have to notice/see/understand the opportunities. So I hope that me, You, us all will have the knowledge, intuition and ways how to get to that.

If we notice, it is up to us: do we seize it or do we let it go by. Since the world is offering something to us, why not take the opportunity?

If we are not sure about if to act on it, we have to go back to understanding it… if it is the “right” opportunity or is it a distraction. I hope we also can manage to distinguish between those two.

To be given opportunities is a blessing really: a way to learn something new, become renewed, understand something differently, get a new experience…
    Lets enjoy the blessings.

Every new knowledge is good for something.

    Love,
    L.L.

  • Savita, thought provoking piece of writing-the’ doors opening ‘ for a short space of time -are a lovely metephor and also remind me of the very large doors on entrances to appartments in Paris-very aesthetic,( and Italy) I love to catch glimpses when someone open the big doors and see the gardens and fountains …and possible glimpses of an alternative future for myself….
    Fond wishes,

  • Querido Paulo,

  • Is natural. Why losing opportunities? We say :Dont let for tomorrow what you can do today. Tomorrow metaphorically might be the future, and we all know we cant control the future. So,we must take our chance right now, today.

  • I refer to this as “the door, opening and closing.” Hurry up, while the door is open! It won’t stay open forever. When we see someone pass through a door in front of us, such as a large and especially heavy door to a public building, we often step up our pace just a bit, to catch it before it completely closes. And if the person in front of us is kind and pauses for a moment to hold the door open, we might even skip a step or two in getting there - we don’t want to seem unappreciative, we don’t want to keep them waiting. We catch the door while it is still open and pass through, saying, “Thank you.”

But in life we don’t always act like this. We see a door opening right in front of us, but instead os saying, “Lucky me!” we just go right back to window-shopping. Later, when we are finally finished puttering around and decide that we are ready to enter, we find that door is not only closed. We push and pull and kick and knock, but it is no use - the door is locked.

A good friend of mine was very much in love with this one man, about ten years ago. All he could say was, “I don’t want a relationship. I’m too young to settle down with just one woman.” He still wanted to shop around a bit. Well, time went on. She moved on, emotionally as well as physically. She moved to another city, and eventually they lost touch. Recently, however, their paths crossed again. Now he is in love with her. Apparently he has done his “shopping around,” and he has realized that she is quite a catch. But she doesn’t love him now. In fact, she’s not even attracted to him in the slightest bit. He calls incessantly, emails constantly. He begs to see her. He is sure that she is “the one” for him. She, in turn, apologizes profusely - she is very sorry for the way things have turned out, but there is nothing that she can do about it, nothing that she can do to bring back the love or even the attraction that is gone. The door is closed. She’s on the inside now, but even she can’t unlock it.

Most of the doors in life, I’ve found, are like the kinds of doors we encounter on public buildings - the kind with spring mechanisms that cause them to close automatically if we don’t reach out to grab hold of them while the opportunity is ripe. They don’t just stand there forever-open, waiting for us to pass through at our own leisure.

I can think of numerous instances in life where I’ve let a door close, right before my very eyes, thinking nothing of it, only later coming to deeply regret that I did not move just a little faster - that I did not catch that opportunity before it was gone.

In Roman mythology, Janus was the god of doorways, gates, bridges and other such entryways - the deity of beginnings and endings. Let us say a quick prayer to Janus, that our doors do not close before we can enter them.
