The journey of my life (be it life’s pleasures and struggles) will always be anchored towards the faith within my heart.

“Sunshine is brighter on the other side”
The sign of the cross is also a positive sign, in the shape of a plus, so, yes , we all carry our cross and we are also able to turn it around for the better.

I would name it “All in all” or “Agape”. Or “The light will save, will give opportunities”.

Very much symbols on that picture…

Notice how all dwell from the heart: and the heart itself is rooted to the earth – getting it’s energy from daily happenings, daily “bread”. And also representing that whatever happens, we also depend on the earth, even if spiritually we get or aim to the hights.

As all things dwelling from heart: the cross representing faith, the anchor representing hope, and the heart itself representing love of course. The anchor is above the cross, and with a rope it is clinged towards the heart. Saying: with love and hope we can reach to faith. But the destructive fire in us can burn the rope and we can lose the hope and therefore we will never get to the faith.

The cross, anchor and sun, moon are above the clouds. The clouds represent the line between the seen and the unseen. And sometimes the clouds vanish – so that the unseen can be also “seen”.
The clouds seem to be more white and seethrough above the fire/light. And that may mean that if we have fire/light in us, it is possible to see the unseen world… the line will be crossed between those two worlds.

For me, the phonograph seems to play sweet music, but it can either absorb the demons/creatures, or it can let them out. It can play still it’s sweet and calming music while letting the beasts out. As representing dangers or “fake people”, masked situations. We have to know when it is sweet music with no harm and when it is possibly harming.

THe crying eye in the fire: somehow it makes me feel sad. At one side: fire is warm, it’s light, it takes us higher… but it can also hurt us if we don’t know how to use it right. OR! The eye in the fire can represent the things we may lose (and which we are sad to let go of), while finding that fire in ourselves, the light. BEcause, if we knowledge it or not, we sometimes have to give up on things to live a life full of light.
THe fire seems to be cracking into the heart – if we are letting it there. The light’s getting in.

Possibly there are other things,
but I guess that needs more concentrating.

Now I will read what others have replied here.

Love,
Liina L.

Our ‘burning’, crying, Heart, rooted on the material world and the cross the symbol of man in incarnation, in Creation.
The endless circle of life, the faces of God in .. expression, Sun and Moon, Male and Female and the Cross the four Elements towards the Light but the Anchor of .. desires keeps us tied!

I Cor 13,4-7

“HOPE” its that simple, i see hope becaue as the crying sun cries he holds an anchor to the cross. Its a sinner desperately seeking redemption even though he?she knows he’s guilty of sins, that’s hope.

“My Soul Is Anchored”

I see the sun, moon, a heart, the anchor, the water (spirit), the eye (soul), music (melody of love), the wall (barriers)…but in all of this I see the soul plummeting to discover. A risk but not a risk because of the anchor. Only able to go but so deep. An anchor that is above and not beneath. A message to go deeper to find your treasure trusting in a creator.

For me this image represents the current change the world and ourseves are going thru. I see it as if the higher powers are penetrating more deeply into our planet, and the dragon represents the fear people have of this change and how strong and deep the change will be. the anchor for me, is pulling the cross and with it, the “new world” full of things we could never imagine and things we have long forgotten.

I think the gramophone is there to remind us that the universe always have a balance and a rhythm, like a symphony, and what we might think is bad or unfair to us in the beginning will show to have perfect sense once we passed the clowdy and the storm.

the crying sun is the intermediate, between the Earth and the clowdy period, the suffering and the pain… that´s why it´s crying. but on the other hand, inspite of crying, it still shines with intensidy, which means hope. the sun is also pulling the cross and what somehow it seems another planet, the “new” planet, the changed planet. this change has already started a while ago and soon we´ll get out of the same circle we and the past generations lived in ( the classic greek period – the dark ages – renassance- …) and start to live a new era, not with inovations of other eras like before, but something none of the past generations has never experienced, although this change has been predicted by many such as the maias and lies in many books, amongst them the bible.

so my title for this picture is: The Foreseen Change.

The phonograph, the music that absorbs the beasts.
The fire of the all-seeing-eye that burns down the anchors that tie the heart (and the whole world, because each of us is a world in itself) to the cross, and thus release it and allow it rise in the celestial space.
In other words, allow your soul to set you free from all ties, may them be self bound or just out there,

I’d call it Release.

Savita, I loved your comparison between the soul and a horse, it’s so beautiful and so ‘on the spot’… Thank you.

I’d say “Who’s Winding The Phonograph?” ;) That’s the real beauty in motion.

Or something akin to that connection, like Heaven and Earth representing the record “Sides A & B Simultaneously”. Both are the flip side of the same record being played – to which one do you listen?

Another alchemist’s illustration, no doubt.

In it, I see so many things: A world, rupturing, ripped asunder by a blast of beautiful music; from it, a throbbing heart emerging, yet still rooted in that earth; a heart set afire with the love of God, the Inner Light, represented by the All-Seeing-Eye; a demon being exorcised from this same heart, which itself appears to be splitting open, perhaps from the heat of this fire; and clouds, there are always clouds in life, but beyond them, a new dawn rising, where Sun and Moon, in unison, adore the promise of a New Jerusalem; a cross, not blood-stained and heavy with the weight of the Sacrifice, but vacant, haloed in flowers, ripe with the promise of the Messiah’s return; and anchored to that promise, by faith, is that same All-Seeing-Eye, the flame of divine intuition, and by extension, the heart and the whole earth.

“We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner shrine behind the curtain.” – Heb 6:19

So much can be said without the use of words. The alchemists knew this. In their illustrations, whether simple or complex, they evoked a wisdom that could not be conveyed even in a thousand-page dissertation on the same subject. So it is with matters of the spirit – so beyond the grasp of the intellect, that they cannot be conveyed by discourse, no matter how eloquent or lofty. So the alchemists planted roadsigns by the wayside, pointing: “That way! What you seek is there!” And one can try to decipher these signs by studying the history and traditional interpretations of these symbols, but, even such a study will not reveal the truth the alchemists sought to point toward. That truth can only be sought out by the intuition – when the intellect is dropped – and, likewise, can only be comprehended by the spirit within us.

In this sense, the truth is not limited to those who possess supreme intellect or who harbor an historical understanding of the subject – it is not for the educated alone, but for anyone who dares step beyond the limits of what is knowable by the conscious mind. There is no individual who does not possess intuition. Thus, the feat to be achieved is more a matter of “letting go” of the “knowable,” than a matter of “gathering in” information.

Anyone who has ever spent time in a saddle knows that every horse has a kind of infallible homing device. If ever you are lost on horseback, no matter how deep the forest, how challenging the terrain, or how dark the night, all you have to do is renounce control and let go of the reins. The horse will take you home. The soul inside of us is like the horse – it knows where it wants to go, it knows where home is. All we have to do is be courageous enough to let go, and have faith. Our inner light of intuition (that All-Seeing-Eye within us) will lead us home.

Thanks for sharing these interesting illustrations with us this week, Paulo.

Sincerely,
Savita

Listen to the music in your heart, your intuition, your anchor, take time to watch the sun and the moon, and believe in yourself.
It is a pretty powerful image… for the imagination.

The image of today seem more complicated .I feel is about the Love ,the expression of God, that governs all world and through faith is link with humans. If my eyes are fine, I see an egg with rays a symbol of humans in some cultures, the music … maybe the music of the spheres? the eye we agree is intuition, the dragon…Must be…I dont know what means the dragon. I see the cross is over the rainbow, sign of pardon and Love from God to humans.
