Mango and I have develop this project together in which they will be printing quotes of mine in T-shirts.
Today is the worldwide release and the money of the sales will be sent to my Institute in Brazil that takes care of 450 children.

It is a wonderful thing you are doing, Paulo and Christina. Generally I do not like marketing – the way the market consumes everything – Paulo’s sayings included – and spits it back at us in “for profit” packages. This, however, is an exception. Even if you want to put your face on a box of cereal or a can of Coca Cola I will buy it to support this cause.

I watched the City of God movie again for the third or forth time on TV last night. As always the story moves well along the screen. I am always left with a wondering in my mind if it is still as bad in the City of God today. Here is a news article I found from the BBC in 2006

I suppose the point here is the donations made by Paulo to those 450 children. He works hard and always remembers to keep speaking about the children and reminding us that there is poverty alive and well in the world today. Of course many of these children could have been dragged into the gangs in Rio and their life would be very different. Yes giving all that money away is worth while when you see the benefits that it is creating in the community.
