Once, I had to have a major operation. I also had anaemia..
Do you know what I took first thing with me at the clinic?? My .. beauty box!! ;] To keep my spirit up and, maybe, die beautiful!! Ha,ha!! When the doctor came before the operation to .. encourage me and looked at my,, perfume and creams on .. display there, he smiled..

The funny thing with getting old is that our eyesight is not so sharp any more! I say, this is God’s prudence!! I see everybody .. without wrinkles! It is the inner beauty shown in the … aura! Sweetness of expression. ;]

Thanks dear Thelma. The big problem is that I have no patience, and maximum I use a day cream once o day…I never had so much money to buy expensive creams, but I noticed that eating healthy food and going in nature helps a lot. The other thing that help is feeling loved , and sport, as well peace of mind. I had a model I was willing to copy, in my childhood I saw a picture with Nefertari, or Nefertiti an ancient wife of Pharaoh. Well, I admire her still, but no more desire to look like her, better to improve my own semblance.

You too must have had a few face-hiding experiences like Siddhant’s. Mostly in life our mind intends to run unilaterally. Usually when obsessed with negativity, our mind architects thousands of negative castles to justify our feeling and we ignore all the good deeds the other person has done to us. Many times it gets so deep that we consider others including God, the conspirator. But, most of the time,the other people and things around are not as bad.
If you take a holistic approach and maintain cool, you will find it Better Than You Think.

Hi Alexandra!! To clean the skin twice a day is important for the skin to breath.. Then to put a cream for hydrating and nourishing the skin and ..around the eyes and lips. During the day always put on a sun-protection cream.. This is enough and a good routine. ;] Not the 1000 euros cream..
There were very many … ‘funny creams’ in ancient times of Cleopatra and in Ancient Rome.., I was watching once a film and had a good laugh.

About face creams, I try so many, very few I can say truly works. Sometimes when I go shopping, and see an expensive face cream I make jokes, asking the shop assistant how many years I will look younger if I use the cream, for that price must take me away at least some years…All fake promises, creams help but not much. I saw in Italian news how women behave in these hard crises times. They give up all other expenses, but the cosmetics or hairdressing not.In a shop they (from tv) asked wich the more expensive cream. Was one that cost more than 1000 euros, and was bought by many ladies.

From the notes above, I think, it is not only the model’s life with those ‘peculiar’ ways and frustration.. I believe this happens in every profession. It has also penetrated in every aspect of our lives! Regarding … creams and cosmetics, I have to admit that it is a routine for me too!! I never go to sleep without cleaning the teeth and … face!! I think they have worked beautifully !! My face does not show my … age!! :] At least they tell me so..
Yes all we need is love, but we need to .. like ourselves and love us too. Remember the mirror.. I read once a real story: A blind man went to the plastic surgeon and asked for a .. hair transplant. The doctor was curious and asked him. You a blind man why ?? Yes, he said, but others see me!!

Dearest Florentina, i think you should consider if after all it was your path..All of them, fortunately or unfortunately, they have their price..If one is a model, then he pays the price of being a model.if another is a teacher, he pays the price of being a teacher..
Thank you very much for this post , dear Paulo, i have read that anorexia nervosa is an epidemic the last years..many many girls are unfortunately in a struggle to be perfect, to be thin, and they commit a rather great level of energy into that, missing everything else ..i think it is like smoking, or drugs, its difficult to quit this obsession when it becomes a routine, but i totally believe in CHANGE

Two things:
First – You have set me on the path of following my dreams (for better and for worse) with a small article on the same subject that appeared in (ironically enough) a fashion magazine way back in 1990. Back then, I was a model. If you had done your homework as thoroughly as you should, you would have also talked to the people who book these models the jobs, i.e. the modeling agencies themselves. You would have added the extra dimension of depth (and not just breadth) to your story. For example, when I modeled (in the 1990’s) the models were cut down to size by their own agency in the following way: “Now remember girls, you’re nothing more than a glorified hanger.” I ask, how could you not get a complex when even the people who pimp you bite the hand that feeds them?
2. Re: “Sometimes people dont understand why I use the term Warrior of Light since Im engaged in a kind of confrontation with life.” Paulo, you need to read Mark Twain’s interpretation of this phenomenon. He termed it being at the mercy of Circumstance and his own personal Temperment which Circumstance always used to move him forward. The same Circumstance would have no affect on anyone else since no one else has the same Temperment hence, act as him. It’s a wonderful logical analysis, right up your alley, Paulo……….

Anyways, about love , I agree love cant be small or big, I can agree only with “Big” term, because is a feeling that usually take our soul and get it higher , near to God. But intensity might be different, I guess.
