http://oquecomerhoje.blogspot.com

Helen – a booktip for you “The Return” by Victoria Hislop.
http://www.victoriahislop.com/
I read that book just two weeks ago and it catches the soul of Flamenco and dancing with an powerfull vivid animation.
Thank you dear kind Savita, same best wishes for you. Love,
Alexandra
P.S. You might be a great writer, I have read your comments, and the material is there, exist, as well the talent and the sensitivity. Take care
Helen – thank you for sharing. That was beautiful and quite uplifting.
Ought not I to thank this moment to find this space to express myself?
Ought not we to thank ourselves for helping ourselves to evolve constantly?
Ought we not to thank God now that we are alive and breathing?
Ought not we to thank the Soul of the Universe to help us seek our cherished goal where it originated ?
Ought not we to thank you , Paulo Coelho for reaffirming our faith in ourselves and in that Supreme Power.
Thank you for your wonderful book THE ALCHEMIST which i read 20 years after it was first published. How true you were indeed when you said there is actually nothing called Time.
Helen’s comment today caught my eye, not only because I love to dance, but she has made a very nice analogy with a nice subtle sexual overtone… Great!
Cha cha and Merengue, Tango, Flamenco.. I Love to dance. Tap, I took it at Stella Adler Acting Academy. I’d danced before, but not tap so I was in the beginner class. At the end of the term, we gave performances to outside audience. The advanced class was one person short of a partner so our instructor asked me to fill in. So we performed a couple of numbers, the advanced one was a lot fun, we wore these sexy lingerie (of course not too revealing, but sexy and tasteful) and it was great!
And it’s so true, if there is no give and take, lead and follow, there is no dance. Imagine if Ginger refused to follow! Lol, usually it is the male leading, but even still, they both have to be in the moment, their attention consistently on the partner, as one never knows what the other might do differently and which direction they may go, so both have to be attentive so whoever leads, the other can follow without missing a beat.
Great writing Helen!

This touches what has been on the week-discussion a while ago about anonymity on internet. I find it so extremely tragic for the family, who now are in deep depth because of their fight to get those photos off from internet.
Please read their story.
Dear Alexandra,
I can certainly relate to the challenges you express in changing house. Wishing you all the best, and the very best of luck in your writing.
Love,
Savita
About Patience
2.19
For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God.
2.20
But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
2.21
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
2.22
“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”[e]
2.23
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
2.24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
2.25
For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

I think we should treat everyone as equal,it goes from your colour of skin, your religion or beliefs..to your sex orientation.Too many people are racist and too many people are homophobic. And many times, when you ask a parent:how would you react if your boy likes boys or your girl likes girls?Their answer is usually:oh,I have nothing against gays but when it comes to my son or daughter I would take it badly. But I would accept with time..Even if we have made some progress over the years,it still makes people unconfortable. In some countries it’s taboo or punbished even.Nonsense.Everyone says it’s not natural. It’s been existing since the beginning of times btw.
Anyway so it’s a way to be yourself that to not deny it and live as you are.We are all children of God,all the same under the light.
Guilt, what guilt? We know dam well where guilt is coming from! It’s natural,we were made like that.So to all gays that come to read that and who are still living their lives as a lie, come and shine under the light or dance in the gay pride, lol.I’m not but I’ll dance with you ;)
Have a nice day :)
Khalil Gibran – the prophet – the book:

About leaders, I read sometime a list of advice written by a manager of top, and the weird thing was the advice was inspired from Art of War, by Sun Tzu. Seem already economy is similar to a battlefield…
See one quote:
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
Are you following in the footsteps of Fred, or Ginger?
Recently, whilst reading a book titled ‘Women at the Top’, one sentence seemed to jump off the page and tap me right on the cha cha.
‘Ginger Rogers…did everything Fred Astaire did…backwards and in high heels’.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t subscribe to hard- core feminism, but I do believe that if you don’t value or appreciate your own worth, it may, quite possibly, go unnoticed.
Not that I believe in daily trumpeting from the parapets either – especially if you have nothing useful to say.
For me, confidence is not necessarily a loud voice – sometimes it’s more like a quiet conviction, that still small voice of calm inside your head.
That’s where I’m coming from…and what I’m trying to say here is that, I think we can choose to see the Fred and Ginger scenario from the perspective of unfairness – as in she did half the work and he got all the glory.
Or, we can appreciate the superb skills demonstrated by both and realise that the resulting performance was a necessary mix of the two. Neither could have achieved anything without the other.
I guess the point is that as long as you are able to happy to be playing your part, then the ‘show’ will always go on.
The steps we take are all within our control, and to that end we can place ourselves in the shoes of the leader, or the follower, as and when we so choose

I am trying to change house, but I noticed how difficult is in that period. So much time to find solutions. But hope God will help me out of that troubled time. Well, mom said I write as a real writer. She read an essay I wrote for University, and said it was as if she was reading a book. Well, I know for a mom her child is always the best, but hope mom is right a little bit.
Wish you all a nice day
Love, Alexandra
