Quote of the Day

Paulo Coelho

One does not fight in the same way in a mountain pass as one would on a plain. Think about your surroundings and how best to move around in them.

  • Fight ultimate meaninig is collecting the fine and pleasant life’s impressions. It is a skill or art of living. For innocent and brave.

  • the game is always the same, the rules are the same but the background changes, whether plain or mountain, the true tried warrior will adapt to every change..if he wants to stay in the game…thank you Paulo for ever reminding us of where we are. love Dolly

  • no sense taking a sword to a gun fight!

  • Yes indeed-the context of the fight and the risks have to be taken into account,
Thank you Paulo for remining us of your wise words,
    Love,
    Breda

  • I tend to go head on – and get into trouble. I’m too honest, and do what I believe is the right thing. Even when I know that this will be costly in more than one way. Usually it could have been done in a smarter way: Being strategic – manipulate. I have learned that manipulation is not negative. But to me the word has something negative and dishonest about it. And I do hate being manipulated, or seeing that others are being manipulated. Yet, at the same time I can see that those who are willing to do this are the ones that get ahead.
I have heard your advice, and I will keep it on my mind.

  • A melhor maneira de mover-se é considerar o que existe a sua volta, segundo Chuan Tzu.
    Beijos!
Fica com Deus e na paz!

  • I mingle between very different jobs
    & very different people

Now & then I step into my “helicopter” for
a metaview – of my life

I also draw a circle around myself
    for protection & inner light*

    Listening, understanding & encouraging -
are all skills I try to use moving around

    Acknowledging people – always make
a great difference – even in the fight

  • Everything is … strategy and approach..
Use your mind and the creative power of it. To be able to foresee, to make calculations and be prepared to fight with … enthusiasm.
In Ancient Sparta the mothers and wives of the Warriors used to give them their shield sending them to the battlefield saying: ¨Η τάν ή επί τάς = Either you return a winner or on it dead!
    They were the warriors …

  • Dear all,

-”Warrior does not see if the environment is mountain or plain, for warrior their is no barrier, neither their is boundary of earthy materials.”

-”Eyes of warrior are most brightest of all, it is the eye of God himself.”

-”Warrior can disguise human thoughts, change feelings, emotions, move on in most difficult circumstances and heal pain of those who are in need.”

-”We are ruled by cupid, world moves on romanticism, life is nothing but a mirror reflection of deeds and moments long cherished.”

-”Mountains are hopes in human life, they always challenge to our tiny little brain and ask, ‘can you climb me?’, they questions our mission to accomplish adventure on walking them.”

    God bless you all !

  • If you are the part of a plain living in mountains or vice verca you have to fight.Otherwise you are just part of surroundings or they part of you.

  • Thanks, I will remember…

  • we live in a diverse and changing world.. no longer is it easy to plan for the future and build permanent roots unshakable. Often I have survived by being a chameleon… other times my past has left me existing too well adapted – as if a creature of Madagascar ;o)
How then to find where I belong and be able to plant roots that will have time and sustenance to grow strong?
In the mountains on the steep, narrow passes I must use my wits to stay balanced else sway and fall. I live intensely in the here and now. One the plains, there are great distances and one can see for miles and miles. I use my minds eye to keep track of what lays ahead on the horizon and is possibly hidden.
