Wow, i can´t believe how hard they have made this for some of us, who really wan´t to be at this movie. I have literally searched in every web page possible and i haven´t found anything about the auditions n´castings for Santiago.
A couple of years ago, when i was reading this book i thought i was just like him. Now that i find out they are looking for a Santiago for this film, i cant even sleep haha it is funny, but i don´t know why i really feel like something is going to happen and i will (at least) be auditioning for this role. I have all the characteristics for this. Even my biggest dreams are like the ones Santiago has and i believe i have just the right look: thin,spanish descendent,english practicer,innocent/wild look. How can i where the audtions will take place? I know you will help me. Thank you

My Sugestion to the caracter Santiago,is a very good theater actor:Cristian Iacob.
I’v saw him on 17 May ,in Bukarest ,playing the role St.Gabriel,in the Piece:THE ANGELS COLONY,which was nominated in as the best 2005 THEATER PIECE in Romania,the writer’s name is I think…Coman Stefan.www.teatrulmic.com or .ro
The most intersting part..of my experience was that,after I saw it,I found it necesarly ,to go to the actors entrace and ask him for a signitur;I was some how surprised about his name JACOB(in Romania not realy comon)and asked him about it,although because I’v jusst arrived one day before from Santiago de Compostella, and he told me he have walked the Camino for one year or so,he recognised LA CONCHA on my neck,ambraced me warmly, kissed , and WROTE me on the PROGRAM betwin other words…SUERTE!

IN this ROLE that he played,he have realy lived HIS DESTINY!
and I wisched him to follow the CREATIVITY PATH for his whole life!

Estou lendo O vencedor esta so ( esse teclado n tem acento).
Sou modelo, fazem 4 anos,e estou em Milao…
Ah, grande parte da verdade é bom ser lido, pois muitas vezes prefiro nao acreditar. Mas nao procuro marido rico ( como diz no livro), nao faço dietas, muito menos passo cremes alguns.
E sim, estou aqui para pagar meus estudos ( q nao eh filosofia).

there’s a young boy who acts in the film Australia – he’s the only human being i have seen who has emanated the sort of quality which when i read The Alchemist, I hoped to have kept safe and sound in my life.
He’s magical ;o)

It is worth seeing the film if for the 11 year old boy only ;o)
