  • Dear Alexandra,

You might just want to read “Aghora” by Robert E Svoboda. It's about the tantric rituals as practised by aghoris.Might make scary reading, though. It's a way of life for them.

Don't kill me for suggesting it :-)

  • The Last Hold Out
    28 May 2009, 3:00 PM

You feel the intensity of everything right now, and it has taken so much of you because this is the last hold out, the last thing you needed to go through so you can move on to the higher level, the next step. Be not afraid because you are not alone, and as you come into full power, you will also come into the realization that you had every right to be angry, and sad, and hurt, and confused over things you went through. All of your expressions, all that you have given have their divine worth because all of them came from a place of understanding and strength. Everything, for you, was and is from love, and though your human eyes have told you otherwise, you understood that oftentimes it takes a lot of heart to hold others accountable for what they had done and still view them as divine children of the Universe. But your divinity, because you have already acknowledge it and you have already expressed your desire to continue honoring it, will become the answer you have so longed for. It will help you heal and manifest the miracles you were born to do in this world. You already know this, because you know that the divine in you comes from one source alone. It is from the unconditional love you are capable of giving, and the unconditional love you are ever so worthy of receiving.

  • On playing it small in life:

…This incident reminds me of all the times in life we play it small to not hurt someone, to not seem arrogant, and then we wonder why we get stepped on or treated with disrespect when we just wanted to help someone out. I think it has to do with our misunderstanding of what compassion is all about. Somehow in those moments when we are playing it small, we justify it in our own minds thinking that we are being compassionate. In reality we are not. Compassion is not assuming that someone can’t do something. That’s arrogance. When we assume that someone is not capable of doing something, we are being judgmental and arrogant in our assumption. And people pick that up. No one wants to be thought of as weak or incapable, so when we treat them that way, they resent us…

  • Hi Alexandra,

Funny story. I must admire the young skinny man. A friend of mine in Oslo, who worked as a nurse, night shifts, used to cross over a graveyard on her way to work. I told her it's too dangerous, as a group of drug users often hung out in the same graveyard. But the time she saved making this short cut was too precious to her, and she was a tough lady. Well, sure enough, within a couple of months she got mugged at the graveyard, and was stabbed with a knife several times. A man came up from behind and tried to steal her handbag, and as she refused to give him the bag, and held on to it, he took out a knife and cut her neck badly. My friend was on a sick leave for several months to get over the incident.

  • Talking about change…

We live in a word that is continuously changing, every minute, second, millisecond is different, everything changes. Nothing is what it was and is not what it will be.
Then, why are we so obstinate on living our life against this Universal law?

Just for a few days… pay attention to the road that you pass through every day on your way to the office. If you pay attention, really looking, with awareness to everything you see, you will notice that nothing is the same, that everything changes. But you did not notice it before because you use to pass thorough blind to what the universe in a very humble way was trying to show you.
All we have to do is to pay attention, looking with all our senses, looking with our soul and then remember that everything changes, even we are changing although we may not do it consciously. The impact of the change is upon us and our level of awareness. Only you can make the difference!
Even the tree in your garden or the street is constantly changing, regenerating, experimenting, and quietly having fun, without any noise, because all this is part of its natural process. It has not been educated to be afraid of the changes and/or the differences. This tree is in harmony with itself, it has not pass and nor future, it only has “the present moment” and that moment is what is living to the fullest. It does not stops giving birth to a new branch because a few days before someone have ripped it away… The tree is not afraid of continuing growing and does not limit itself to the possibility that it can be ripped again.
The tree has no sense of time, because time does not exist, it dedicates its life to re-creating itself constantly as this was the very last thing it was doing, without a conditional past or a probable future. It simple “is”.
Be adventures, live your life like the tree, create yourself your way, without fears, without frontiers, without sorrows. Live every moment as it was the very last.

  • Hi everybody.
Just want to share some things, hoping to be bot boring.
Well, I was to visit my mom. She live in a big house, big garden, but has a neighbor in the same yard. This is a couple, a young man, skinny skinny, my mom say is alike a 12 years boy. Has a wife similar, very thin. They got married few months before, so ,the girl was fired because she had few days for the wedding…The man worked as in try period, but after short time he was just refused. They have no power, because they did not pay , they steal the ax from father to cut wood. So, for living they used to sell few rags.
The point is my mom say all of a sudden today: the neighbor have a job. Ok,I was amazed. But mom smiling continue: Why you dont ask what job he found? Ok, I ask . He is guardian in the graveyard, during the nights….Lol…I would not do that , I am so afraid of graveyards. But please imagine the skinny poor boy, alone in the night, defending the graveyard… I feel to faint.
Well, beside I remember now a real story, about a drunkard woman. Once, she felt really sad, and after a good bottle of spirits, she went to find her mother, where else, in the graveyard…. There she felt sleepy, so she just sleep there, on the tomb. In the morning, the gravediggers arrived to dig some new tombs, and the got really scared while seeing that woman raising from the tomb….
Bye, wish you all a nice day
    Love
    Alexandra(sparkle)
