Risa, The first topic you brought up was interesting to me because I too have trouble finding and putting words together to express my ideas and thoughts. But it is not from chemo.

I think the industry that you want to be in needs you. From watching your video you can help bring some warmth, soul, and strength to this so materialistic industry. Yes, cosmetic and fashion is about taking care about the outside but people can still be spiritual and caring, and look good…many people in that area need to understand this. I hope you do what you love and carry the light.

Dear Paulo,

“You can send your video (max. 3 min) to paulocoelho.writer@gmail.com and we will post here.”

This video is longer than 7 minutes…???? Ha ha…sounds funny…

Dear Risa,

Everybody has problem in this world and nobody cares about anybody else’s problem, in difficult circumstances like finding job, finding soul mate… you just got to listen your self and try to follow your personal legend. Maybe one day, you will end up being where you really wanted to.

God blesses you all !

and

God bless you all !

Dear Paul
I am glad you back hope you had a nice rest after the pilgrimage.
I said what I said, because unfortunately I encountered too many cases in which age and look made the only difference. But, I wish never to become jealous, because I was too once nice and young…The video is a challenge, because you will be watched by so many.I wont say more.
Thank you dear Paul for being here, deep in my heart I agree with you.
God bless you
Love
Alexandra

Your philosophy sounds great Risa. A New-Yorkaa.. New York, the capital of images, and supposedly open to individual expressions, but not to the extent that you still have to fit in, match certain company profiles? Hrm. Didn’t know that.

I love your natural make up, with a little bolder cheeks and lip stick. Very attractive. Have you noticed how young girls cannot wait to put on make up, while their mothers tell them little girls don’t need make up, the older we are, the more make up we need to stay beautiful? Well, your philosophy is, let each woman decide how she wants to express herself, right? Agree. Allow even little girls to play with make up, except not allow them to go in public dressed like little prostitutes, I guess. I would draw a line there. Myself, I always loved Cleopatras dramatic eye make up, but haven’t dared to go in public like that yet. Coming from Norway, we didn’t experiment much with make up, it was all about natural red snow cheeks and the healthy no make up look. Pretty boring if you ask me. Make up is part of the feminine touch, and my friends from Mexico always makes me smile, the way they come in to work and spend at least one hour sitting by the desk, with a little hand held mirror in front of them, putting on their make up. Most fascinating to me is the false long eye lashes. Very sexy. Seductive. But it’s the whole deal. My younger co workers, ridicule me for wearing red lip stick. I like how you, being young, also make a statement with your orange/red lip stick. You kick Risa!

Risa, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am sensible to what you are going through trying to find a job, and that you are being not retained for you do not “fit” in the concept of the employer. Yes, image, clothing, etc should be fun. Each time that I put my clothes and make-up to go to a “soirée”, I feel wow! But it does not take long that I want to take all of that of, be bare feet and sit on the ground … more and more that I am in what makes sense to me, where my passion drives me, that I pass to action, all that I considered before important, being noticed, liked, recognized, is not even on my mind most of the time, and there I am going to the grocery, no make-up, my kid’s shoes, my son’s jacket … But when I go to work, I respect the concept, the structure, for as to secure the other one who comes, I enter “his” door … and with respect and slowly the “uniform” is no more a matter of importance for me or the other, because our relation now is at another stage. I am recognized for who I am and what I transmit and … you know, I think now of the Witch of Portobello … she was not fitting in the “concept”, the employer wanted to have her out but he had to recognize that he needed to keep that energy … by time, that is what is recognized. But being part of that “world”, for me is to be strategic and by that I mean to accept for a time and enter and then progressively definite … that is if my path wants me really to be there, is my mission is really to be there …
