Paulo,

You create a space for compassion. When my best friend was killed on my 14th birthday, the son of holocaust survivors, I heard a man at the funeral say, “God has His reasons.” That got me reading Sartre and believing in nothing at all. Over time the universe has guided me and I understand that that man’s message was the right message at the wrong time (or maybe it was the right time? probably). Anyway, my message now is that I love the world, and those of us alive in it must warm each other and awaken. My son reads the Bhagavad-Gita as I write this, studying for an English final. My friend who was killed, his mom is Gita.

My four weather stations

Your love came to me as spring dew
Your love bloomed in my hearth as summer flowers
Your remember was become low as sheets fell in autumn
This winter my hearth will live with your remember till next spring

I just wonder how sometimes ‘Sorry’ seems to be the hardest word. Hereby, I do believe that how ‘we’ deal with such word might determine our share of fortune in this life.

Consider to smile to any stranger who looks sad today :-)
And remember. It´s aloud to smile to someone new tomorrow as well.

Thanks for your books Paulo Coelho!

Hello,
I wanted to mention the thing that is important for me for last months. It’s about getting attention from others, the triumph of the ego.
For example, I cook a dinner for my family. Something unexpected for them, something special that haven’t been for long time. I do it with all my love, I believe that I must add such an ingredient as Love and then it is more delicious. Cooking really makes me satisfied because of expected result. Everybody eats and I get a joy from seeing their reaction how yummy it is. For so long time I didn’t realize that I wait from them the best references about my cooking. Then I understood it completely but I still know that nothing is going to change. It is my ego that laughs at me because I recognized it but I can’t control it.. Actually strange to understand it with my mind.
Maybe it would be better if I didn’t realize it. If I had no idea about the real purpose of my cooking and other similar things. Maybe it is just human being’s character but I think that it can be changed. I keep on seeking for how to dominate over my ego and to be the master of it.
You are welcome to share how it is with you.
I hope this report fits to an issue.
Best wishes,
Lasma

Yesterday was the World Environment Day, with a superb movie which released in more than 100 countries : HOME by Yann ARTHUS-BERTRAND. Great moment au Champ de Mars (Paris) shared with thousands of people. Fascinating beauty of the planet. This great lady who is ravaged by the deep stupidity of Human Being, his cupidity, his selfishness. It’s easier to stay blind. But impossible not to be affected. Majestic beauty of Dame Nature, deep sadness facing Human activity, revolt, HOPE. Good week-end to each of you. Love, N. B.

Tormented by talent…:
Trying a love poem in my own way
I will take your hand
Take you to the spring of life
Hoping you will understand
That you are a source of light.
We will walk in woods unknown
We will sing a hymn to love
We will take a lot of vows,
And return to rest a while.
Spirits will guide us along
Fairies will be on our side
They will share our happy heart
They will dance around around.

Annie,
I am with you with your thoughts. Until the flight is found, even though it seems totally unrealistic, I too am praying that the plane will be found somewhere with all passengers alive and well. I know it is like Paulo says, our minds cannot settle on anything until we know the truth.

thank you with all my heart to cristina, for giving me the opportunity to communicate with people who walk through their spirituality and their sensitivity to the world supply of hope and the color to their love, people who walk in the streets and foggy impervious barefoot and is aware of contact with the ground, sometimes hard and sometimes uneven generous and lush. many complain of what they have and many are confident in the material to be happy. (last night I wrote these words in my blog but today there were more.) the materiality is a requirement that we as humans always helps and in part to also graced by beautiful things .. but the best thing is the TREE OF LIFE that we have inside us where we can always cling to every moment of need and necessity, and just like a tree, we have all the seed to be born, bear fruit, continue to nurture its roots to never lose sight of the values and dignità.to use the material in order to benefit our lives, because we are made of this too, without that you get the upper hand.ourselves generate every day with the light of sun, drink and are nourished by the earth and the rain of heaven and we have everything we need within us.
Paulo thank you for listening to our word.maria a.

Dear Paul,

I once was a screenwriter and then I became a psychologist and worked with troubled kids, but kept writing scripts. When a producer of a project of mine was killed in an avalanche, I meditated on what the universe really wanted me to write. A year later I began writing “The Privilege of Parenting,” and seven years later it was done. HarperOne publisher (your publisher) say that they love my message and my writing, but in this economy they cannot yet take me on because no one knows who I am… yet they wanted to leave the door open. Other publishers are considering, but I started a blog, and have found it liberating. It’s simply about creating a community in support of “parents” (i.e. anyone who cares about the world and ALL its children) with a spirit that I think you may find kindred. I was turned onto your writing by my therapy clients who said that my ideas were like your writing, and when I read your work I felt that sense of Anam Cara (as do millions of us around the world). Some spirit guided me to this little box on my computer screen and so I send my message with all love and gratitude. Anyone who cares to visit my blog and put a little love in, or who needs a little compassion in the service of being our best Selves as caregivers of our world and each other, is welcome.

Thank you dearest Paul for the information..
Four years ago on the 14th of August an aeroplane of HELIOS crashed, full of Cypriot families going for holidays.. Their left relatives have not an answer yet …
It seems that when a big disaster happens then we tend to remember our mortality and the real values in life.

dear Paul, the only thing that I am asking is a convincing explanation. You, having a lot of knowledge in the field, knows better than anyone else that there must be A REASON. A technical reason. But the press, the govt. and the companies don’t say absolutely anything. Pls give ONE reason, I am asking. Otherwise the paranoiac theories start to become reality, even if they are not.

Thanks for the opportunity!

From a review of my forthcoming novel, Crazy Beautiful: “Crazy Beautiful is an unexpected love story that deals with far more than just those breathless moments of first love, but delves deeper into the finer aspects of choices and consequences, second chances, and forgiveness. The emotions that Baratz-Logsted evokes in Crazy Beautiful are painful and raw, but authentic and exhilarating as well. Crazy Beautiful is a concise, entrancing, and completely consuming read, punctuated by smart humor and wonderful characterizations that especially cause Aurora and Lucius stand out. In its own unique way, Crazy Beautiful is a compelling, bittersweet, and memorable read with a love story so persuasive that it will keep you coming back again and again.”

Hi.
Here my idiotic poem, please be mild…
Thought and dreams
By
Nicoleta

Wind blowing over my soul
Through away the dark clouds
That were lying on
Bring the sun of the joy

Green light
Coming from your eyes
Guide me in the reign
Of faires and knights

Take my hand now
Lets dance the ancient
Dance.
Lets celebrate the dream
That has no end.

Can someone please explain to me what Paulo’s logo means exactly.
The circle with the line and cross.

I only guess is related to the Tradition of the Moon, the circle might be the moon, and the cross I see it as a sword more…The warrior of the light!

Oh ,dear Paul, you such a good man. You are concerned of everybody that suffer. I think theres no any answer that bring joy to deaths relatives. I was once flying from Budapest to Bucharest, and the plane, from Malev, started to lose altitude and to shiver, everybody just prayed and hold the others hand. Was really scaring, I said thats the end. Instead, nothing. I mean no end… But I did not like the experience.

Yes dearest Paul, the same happens with the new automatic, speedy cars.. We have so many car accidents here in Cyprus lately and most of them fatal..
It seems that technology is good, but when everything was ‘manual’ people could have more power over ‘the machines’ and use mind’s abilities in time of emergency.. Now we have lost control over almost everything.. Computers rule our lives..
