The VW ad (in Portuguese)

by Paulo Coelho on June 10, 2009

They are comparing aerodinamics, resistance and elegance (VW wins). Then they compare published books, and I win. I had a lot of fun while doing it, and the money they paid went in its integrality to Instituto Paulo Coelho.

Curiosity: we recorded 10 hrs for less than 15 seconds in the final cut.

I am glad you chose VW… I have always had only Audi and VW cars, and I think they are really good!! I have never had a single problem with them.
I am glad you are sponsoring something worthy and “real”.
Love,

Rossana Curri

In resistance you win by far – lets look at the VW in sixty years. Maybe you are not as aerodynamic, but your little hairy spoiler on the back of your head is cute and gives your a distinctive profile. Elegance…well, it’s not your fortitude, but instead your are a really unique model, a fancy special design so to speak.
One question remains: Are you nonpolluting? I fear you are not. – You smoke to much!

Result: Forget the VW!

My grand dad would be proud of you. He, a farmer and teacher, owned several VW’s (a beige and a light blue one) that had a little room behind the back seats, where we children loved to sit and waive to cars following on the road. To save gas, my grand dad would turn off the motor going down hills. And he always told everybody he met, how much he saved this way. Ecologist ahead of his time. (His name was Adolf! of course baptized long before a certain German ruined this pretty name).

VW is the best, I recall my Dad’s Beetle, that 1973 old styled 1973 sweety car :).

Nice Ad, Paulo. I wonder are you going on BMV in the future ;)

hey Mestre,

Meu amor, meu respeito e minha gratidão.

I like the “link” of the car that permits me to attain a destination, to make a journey, to explore and you, the writer, who gives me the means of transportation to do the same …

Dear Carolina,
Oh I am blushing…I am scarlet red.
I have so far eliminated a few of the contenders.
Pope Benedict – deinitively out
elton, georges, Edgar, Albert Einstein, Oppeinheimer, Arthur, Leonardo, Brad , the Wizard of Oz, D.Allen does anyone know Did he ever go to Rio?,Dr Phil,
The list, as you can imagine is as long as an arm.
There is and I might need a bit of help from you here.
Robyn WIlliams – he is got a Plan I am not too sure about the statistics though
John Cleese, Kevin I must admit he does a good job when he sings “La Mer” , I have to re-visited 10 Downing Street, Gordon is in a crisis. Does he speak French?
Anyway, I am open to suggestions.
What is the weather like in your part of the world? Here the wind is slowly disappearing.
Much love, and don’t forget to :)
