Quote of the day

Paulo Coelho

A warrior of light has no regrets, because regrets can kill. He humbles himself and undoes the wrong he has done.

  • Remorse is one thing and regret is another!!
If we feel guilty and remorse, then the only way is to ask for forgiveness and try to undo things.
Regrets can kill! Sometimes it is easy to … humble ourselves and try to go back and start fresh but sometimes … time, space and .. age keep us ‘prisoners’ to our reality, wrong decisions and choices made!
But then, I say: ‘What is a .. life in .. ETERNITY!!
The .. consolation for … dead, lost dreams.
    LOVE,
    Thelma.

  • We all do mistakes but we should learn from the mistake and don´t do them again, and also forgive ourself for our mistakes and move on :-)
Easy to say but harder to do … but what else can we do?

  • The accents make all the difference-important things become less important.Priorities to choose without being overloaded or empty-interesting occupation.

  • It’s like going to confession, and the priest says; ‘What do you want to confess my Son/Daughter?’ and the confessor answers; ‘You first!’. No… joking aside. I believe in confessing, and realizing there are better ways, but don’t regret my life, in the sense of wishing I had lived a different life. We should be in love with who we are, and be more self ironic. What drives the unhealthy perfectionism? ‘Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect’? We can also say, be human as our Father in heaven loves children who fall and get back up, fall and get back up, fall and get back up.

    Annie..

Eventually the child will learn to walk.

Have you heard this one?…It takes one year to teach a child to talk, and twenty years to teach her to be quiet!

Annie, you have a child’s spontaneity, with your ‘love you so, so, so’ and many other examples. It’s a lot of fun to read all your postings, because you are ALIVE!

    Love you to pieces sis,

yes, the child will learn to walk… and talk!
But it seems to me that adults dont know how to walk and talk!!!

    I wish i didnt grow up…
I really dont want to grow up
I dont want to grow up..tomorrow..
    oh, sis, why should we??

    Love you

  • Hmmm. If the regrets regards his own deeds.

  • Sometimes regrets can pull you away from the mission of The Warrior of Light. It can be an unseen stumbling block.
Even mistakes teaches the Warrior that in turn makes him stronger against his foe.

He humbles himself by not letting his pride getting in the way and admits of any mistakes made either by accident or on purpose.

My dearest Aditya, - i speak from experience- when one does harm to himself (as i say it, he is on self-destruction mode) , he can undo it by behaving to himself as (like a wol)he would do to others, with Love..OUrselves is our best friend..you ll be with yourself for ever..so think of him, like a child..wouldnt you be kind and tender and loving to a child..Of course you d be..But if you d lose your patience with a child, then that might be because you dont have much patience with yourself…
    things to ponder..
