I also like Wicca and I hope that she will
also find her soul mate like Magus and live happily together.

I am just wondering that why is it Magus and she split
after knowing the concept of Soul Mate?
Why did they not live happily just like before?

Paulo sou sua grande fã ja li varios livros seus e adorei… principalmente Brida, o Alquimista, Valkirias e Diario de um mago este ultimo ateme ajudou com alguns exercicios…quanto a Brida sera q vc se refere a wicca como a religiao q ela é? sempre gostei muito de magia acho que é por isso que gosto tanto de seus livros. Vc deve ser um grande mago.

It feels unfair to me that the magus is “free to go ” but that wicca is not shown geting away from the pass so clearly as he.
Wondering the forest ?
What kind of leasson if that ?
How dare any man try to part love with black magic and get a second chance while Wicca is leaft to sink.
Why does the sinner get help and never go back for forgivness to be free before the victim ?
And what of the man, the third person spoken of ?
I wonder what happens to him ?
Sorry this must come across as very bitter and I am sure since no one has mentioned it that I am the only one not to figure it out.
I am working on the notion of forgiveness .
Parhaps I am missing the whole point. ;)

What is neat about the reference to dancing to the sound of the Universe is if you read The Witch of Portabello. That REALLY goes into what it means to dance to the sound of the universe. There is a scene that describes, in great detail, what that whole ritual entails. Brida was a great book for me to read because I felt like it was all of the lessons I had learned from The Alchemist, Eleven Minutes, and The Witch of Portabello encompassed into one book. I could see apart of myself in each and every character (even the Magus).

Wicca, is the type of character I admire in a person. I like her way of encouraging people to explore themselves, the way she did on Brida. And, doing it, with her support are the warnings, the reminders she generously offered without offending Brida – especially Brida’s feelings. I said this because I have encountered so many people even friends as rather a himdrance to my happiness than support to what my heart desire.

Wish people will have this character of Brida – a woman of wisdom, thougthfulness, generosity, even love, although it was not as vivid as it may seem.

Namaste,
Wicca is harder to write about. I didn’t always understand her. I didn’t always empathize with her, but I always admired her. She takes on Brida because of the Magus and her former association. She’s curious. In the end, her questions are answered because she knows the Traditions.

Her lessons still reverberate in my mind. So much to process. I liked how you shared her thoughts before what she actually shares with Brida. Her thoughts allowed the reader to see the humanity behind the teacher. If we had only seen Brida’s perspective, much of her character would have been lost to us. Her thoughts also gave us a greater understanding of magic as well.

Again… there’s so much about her that I am still processing. She’s a strong woman who’s learns through her students as well.

es realmente una mujer interesante, sin embargo el final del libro no define el futuro de Wicca, por lo que seria muy facil entender que permanecio sola, ¿ pero es posible no encontrar su otra mitad, teniendo el ppoder para reconocerla entre grandes multitudes?

Wicca is very strong,full of life woman.The only thing she needs to be completely happy,I think is love.In my imagination i see her gorgeus,but with blue sad eyes…With her energy she can inspire everyone to look deeply inside its heart and soul and search for the Gift..Because we all have some Gift…Charming character!!!

I loved Wicca because she was a very mystical person but very grounded and allowed herself to be human and ordinary. I could feel her strength and power to handle the energies brought before her. she is a woman of great wisdom. She is someone I would love to meet and share learning and growing with. A fascinating woman she is.
I was glad to encounter her through “Brida”.

The Witch, that seemed a common woman. She was not selfish, but helped Brida to find her path, with much patience. I loved the part of rituals where Brida dance on the Sound of the Universe. Sorry if I mistake terms, I have read in not in English.
