However, in this case, the envelope was a work of art

How funny! How can they paint you as Buddha when when you don’t have a big belly to rub.

PS We have an older male neighbor who often sits outside in his front yard, reading the news paper, and with no shirt on! (you know, it’s hot in Arizona) So, of course we call him Buddha. I haven’t asked to rub his belly for good luck yet. Hehe. I should.

Querido Paulo, começo hoje a reler ‘O Alquimista’. Para dizer a verdade, ando com a enorme vontade começar a ler ‘A Bruxa de Portobello’ e vou adquiri-lo brevemente, mas como quero participar no workshop deste mês dedicado ao ‘Alquimista’ quero relê-lo, e será um prazer, para ter bem presente a narrativa.
Devo dizer que todos os Verões tenho que ler ou re-ler um dos seus livros; é como uma lufada de ar fresco, um banho de luz. (se bem que os seus livros são bons de ler o ano todo). Como lido diariamente com energia, todos lidamos, é certo, uns mais cientes disso do que outros, devo dizer que os seus livros conduzem a lugares de luz fantásticos, que existem na nossa imaginação, mas, no entanto, muito reais e tangíveis. Obrigada. Vir ao seu blog tb é muito gratificante.

It is an envelope full of JOY.
I am sure there must have been many more pictures inside !!
This is the … price you pay when you are famous… Any letter or envelope may reach you and you cannot say ‘excuses’, dear Paulo: I did not receive it … ;-]
