Adipex Review

Es loco cuando pienso que este libro ahora me sirve como guía, pues veo gran parte de mi vida reflejada en él.

The book tell us a story from the point of view of a woman; and everything Pilar says is like if a woman is saying it, and the unsteadiness when she talks. I’t unbelievable (or really believable) eventhough it’s written by a man. I like it!!!!

One word: flawless. I read the book in one sitting. I re-read it frequently. It is such a beautiful story.

Dear Mr Coelho
About the narrative structure on this book. I am so repeatedly ask. I just want to look the ending story, might pilar and the seminarist have married. But you make the end so absurd. You give the option to the readers. Ahh, I’m a bit annoyed because that. huhh.. huff.. hahaha, i judge you an naughty writer.
why you are not to write the end of story like that? doesn’t because that case is taboo? any way, hemm the story so living, I don’t know because your talent, or because the translator. I read the Indonesian version of course. you make me know about the plurality, the various religious streams on christiany. the power of Vatikan, is’nt true if you write based the research history on that case?
I wait your reply mr. paulo
so lovely to be your fans
thanks, always hope God Bless We All

Love it!
1) The way we are set up to expect the worst: The book starts out with her weeping by the river, so we are led to assume that the relationship will end in catastrophe, which, in the end, isn’t the case. In this way, the structure mirrors the book’s message and actually leads us through the same kind of experience that Pilar had under the influence of “the other” - always expecting the worst, always anticipating failure or loss.
2) The way the book is set up to occur within these few days: confining the present action to this short span of time creates a sort of tension that serves to give the book momentum that it might not have otherwise. Under this temporal pressure, the drama of the narrative is intensified and made all the more compelling. As well, this period of time is “set apart” from the rest of Pilar’s life. This gives the impression of a sort of “window of opportunity” which offers the possibility to change her entire destiny - it is her choice to enter that window or not.

Mr. Coelho,
That book I read in one night, and really I can tell, I congratulate, because I joined the plot that lived Pilar; is as if I was, there were even times when she cried …. I also think that part of his way of narrating, which makes the reader experience what you are reading, also was going through a bad emotional state … May God Guide and Protect.

This is my favorite book.
It deals with magic moments, inner children, first love and faith.
When reading for the first time, it was stunning for me to realize that someone had been able to write so beautifully about all the things I knew only with my heart.
I thought to myself: My God, he put into words all the things that have touched me deeply so far. I kept crying and crying out of joy and emotion realizing that someone else saw life the same way I did . It seemed that the book had been written specially for me.
Despite all the years that have passed when recalling tears go by.
I still feel the fog all around protecting me,
the magic moment we let pass by ,
the child inside telling us to see the difference,
the very first love returned after so many years,
the churches,
the wine by the well,
the same clothes she wore,
the mountains,
the rituals,
the music played by him,
the ever present merciful face of God,
the broken glass and the kiss,
the love making,
the exchange of gifts,
the quasi-death,
the despair,
the river,
and the reencounter.
I wish I could someday to live a story like this.

My dear Paulo,
What to say about the narrative structure of Piedra? It’s the same I can say about all your novels; You are the best modern storyteller I know! The way you set your stories and build them up, always makes it hard for me to put any of your books down, after I have started to read them. There is this magic in your novels. One just have to continue reading, till the end. What I love about the Piedra story, is the resonance frame of psalm 137. Pilar’s sadness crying for her lost love in the opening chapter, gives cultural resonance to the sadness the Israelis felt when they refused to sing during their exile. We get a peek to the end of the story in the opening chapter, and the final chapter, again points to this wonderful religious hymn.
The seminarian so to speak pushes Pilar, and creates a resonance to transition her from a frame of not loving him, not having faith, to a frame where they are united on one path together again. He balances pushing her, like pushing a person in a playground swing, in time with the natural interval of the swing, to make the swing go higher and higher, till the turning point in the story, where Pilar’s heart tells her that she is in love with him (p 70), and she starts to pray to strengthen her lost faith. The seminarian was very gentle. While attempting to create the love resonance from Pilar, he doesn’t attempt to push the swing at a faster or slower tempo, which would have resulted in smaller arches. He timed his transition just right. To follow this day by day movement of two human beings in search of love and life during one week’s journey, till they realize how much they mean to each other, every day of their entire life, is such a wonderful experience for me as a reader. Nobody tells any story better than you, my dear Paulo.
Love and adore you,
Heart
