credo che tendenzialmente, ognuno di noi, sia portato ad esprimere un pregiudizio su qualcuno o qualcosa..L’errore permane laddove non ci siamo ,e non abbiamo dato possibilita’ di ricrederci.Non è detto che sia giusto o sbagliato,ma ci stiamo mettendo alla prova .Il pregiudizio ,la cattiveria gratuita,si superano guardando a noi,cercando di capire se anche noi simo in grado di superare la nostra mente e i nostri limiti.Non dico di lasciar correre su tutto,quantomeno a chi sbaglia di far capire dove non esiste coerenza tra parola ed azione.Tutti siamo fallibili,in virtu’di cio’ dobbiamo perseguire il rispetto .

Little Prince is the book I keep and hold forever and have read when I was a tenager and now with my 8 years old son..its magic and in simple ways explains so much and it is so powerful too……

Actually it has an other side of the coin. Thanks to this post I found the book and read it. (The Prophet) Is is great thank you for the post.
Of course our own opinion is really import. Just as important as to be careful not to be arrogant which is what I am learning.

I believe the most beautiful things in life are also extremely simple. In order to ‘get’ the simplicity, one has to go through a lot of complex ideas, processes and negotiations….

Some of the books that have shaped my life early on are Gibran’s The Prophet and The Little Prince. I still have these books and I can read them when I want to get perspective on life. Each time I read these ‘simple’ books, I get a new meaning, a new perspective on life.

I still do think that we have our prejudices and some we cannot get rid of….

Paulo es muy cierto por lo general cuando tu odias a alguièn siempre es porque alguìen te indispuso en contra de esa persona como primer punto, luego viene el ver todas sus fallas y todas sus opiniones. Por lo tanto es aconsejable nunca dejarte llevar e incluso no solo de otras personas mas tambièn nunca te dejes llevar de la primera impresiòn pues por lo general no es la mas convincente ya que la personas estan un poco nerviosas por que reecien se relacionan hay que dar un poco de tiempo y esperar incluso que surja alguna situaciòn fuerte solo ahì conoceras el verdadero caracter de los seres humanos para bien o para mal.

dear paulo i am completely agree with you. Its just a prejudiced nature of a person which brings the unhappiness and hatered in his life because sometime we unknowingly start behaving according to the others assumption and that becomes the sole reason of our sorrow. The saddest part of this is that inspite of knowing all these we behave in that same manner …….

:)I also have this bad attitude towards teaching because i cannot reach some of the kids. It seems i wanna be liked by everyone and when i cannot i hate the kids. Every day as i walk to school i say a preyer but this never helps with one particular class. I should change i know. Thank you!

Sometimes, we hate something because others love it (well…at least it’s my case…actually I am not sure about this. I hate because others love it or I initially hate something that is generally loved by others?) E.g. I hate fake eyelashes and colored contact lens (it’s really very common among HK girls)

people are surrounded by mostly bad things nowadays …And it so happens tht we remember the bitter part of our life more than the sweet memories…it is human nature to expect sympathy for the bitter part and whenever we meet someone we lay forward our life and expect something from them…this makes us even more handicapped….when we get positive results we keep our story handy and can’t move on …the past moves with us..and THE CHANGE REQUIRED IS NOT MET….we need we can’t hate anyone all our life ..as there is a saying ” THIS LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO HATE ANYONE “….CHANGE YOURSELF AND ADAPT …U HVE OLY THIS LIFETIME

Change is the only constant. As we grow in life and experience our thoughts and emotions do go thru changes. Its only fair for us to allow the free flowing movement. What we have experienced at a particular moment and event is only restricted to our perceptions and circumstances for that moment. Living in that moment and not carrying that moment and its experiences ahead should be the only constant. Minds and thoughts will always keep changing and its for us to accept them and grow and learn from them.

I never imagined I could one day resume teaching teens aged between 15-19; only the thought of it triggered nightmarish memories 5-7 years back when I was a teacher at the secondary school. Since then I opted for teaching younger kids or adults.Surprisingly, most recently I went back to teaching this category of learners. The teacher I replaced (a 55 year-old lady) told me I wish you all the earth’s courage, strength and patience with these -sorry for the term- bas@#$ds and started to complain about their bad behaviour, using harsh words – I disapproved of – I sensed bitterment and resentment in her tone. It’s been a couple of weeks since I started teaching these kids now; you cannot imagine how the change of attitude towards this particular category of learners helped me better cope with their ‘unruly’ behaviour: these children know when a teacher is not prejudiced against them and really wants to help them. I am surprised I no longer feel that sense of helplessness mixed with frustration when I’m in front of them; on the contrary, I feel in control of the situation; I keep saying to myself what the others are saying about them is not true; these are intelligent kids; their behaviour is totally justifiable; I understand them and I empathise with them. I am here to help them and they will get my help. It’s unbelievable how I managed to change the behaviour of many among them only by changing my reaction to them.
I’m happy about this.

Some little thoughts….
I grew up with sayings that women should ‘stay in the kitchen’ and only men can be best leaders…well realised that that is not quite true because women can have wisdom too…I’ve read a beautifull book about ”Grandmothers counseling the World” and telling their way of ‘healing the world’and bring it back to balance…So, I’m not accompanied with those sayings anymore…I reccomend it warmly to all who seek some other opinions. As a teenager, I used to believe that I had to be “consistent” at all cost. In my beliefs, my friends, my tastes, my likes and dislikes..

Now… Thank God this has changed!

I used to be such a heavy, serious person, and now I am more with the flow… I am not “fixed” anymore, I accept change in my life and in my beliefs, I accept learning, and listening, and thinking and evaluating everything I know and believe in.

Other people think I am “inconsistent” sometimes, maybe even “wishy washy”, but that’s fine with me :)

My good friends and family love me for who I am – an inconsistent, wishy washy girl :)

Question:Did you ask her why she hates you ? Leave her to take her responsability to hate you .You could tell her what you feel about that she hates you .Even if she doesnt know the answer its enough that you asked her .

Manipulation it works .To give an example would be the Holywood .There are a lot of people like actors .Behind them is the strong advert for making them to appear the most beautiful and smart people in the world.It works, we all try to copy them .On the other hand if we talk about our own opinion about anything .The first impulse is to find out what is general opinion accepted by society .Then it is lazy and comfortable to accept their opinion and to follow their rules .People are dieing inside and they become robots in their moves and their words .They forget to think .Then the result is this uniforme everybody wears it :huge and ugly boredom .I call them dead people alive .

Our mind is shaped by our parents and our society. Instead of discovering world by our own reasoning parents/society gives us information about what is wrong or bad. This informations then integrates into our mind and it puts us in same program (illusion) in which we are all living. Changing mind is impossible because all actions are coming from mind. It is not matter of changing mind but be aware of it. When you are aware of mind then you are not in mind and not touched by its demands. Observe mind and you will be free of it. Buddha gave ultimate way how to do it.

La mente ,è parte integrante,fondamentale,x la eterna ricerca,a cui l’uomo a dedicato alla sua vita,la verità.Essa è una sola,chi si è evoluto ,spiritualmente ,che nella vita materiale,nella quotidianità,sa di che potenziale e dotata la mente.Attraverso la mente,si puo raggiungere,la pace interiore ,quella vera,dove nulla a più alcun significato,dove esiste solo,vivere in funzione di Dio,il samadhi,l’extasi,il nirvana.Premetto,che non bisogna appartenere a nessun gruppo o setta,religione o quant’altro sia ,discutibile,nella dimensione dove vive tre quarti di questo mondo.L’ unica cosa che conta è l’amore,il motore che muove l’intera galassia,questo e difficile da comprendere da coloro che ,fanno del materiale,l’unico scopo di vita,non sono evoluti,non gliene frega niente.
Cambiare ,comunicare,con la propia parte interiore,nascosta dove solo,tu ,puoi accedere,la tua mente,vuol dire discutere a tu x tu con la tua anima,semplicemente meraviglioso.
