I believe that when we look for love courageously, it reveals itself, and we attract even more love. If one person really wants us, everyone does. But if we’re alone, we become even more alone. Life is strange…

I reserve my special finger for the law.
The law they say. So we are supposed to live our life by rules set by some old dude in his fugly wig centuries ago.
They take over the world.
They stake claim to land that belongs to nobody and make us pay for it.
They charge us for the water god gave us so abundantly.
Wait, sunlight’s free. For now.
Now, we’re all living this life for lack of better choice. No. It’s the easy way out. The fast lane that’s actually the slower lane but we choose to ride it because the other two lanes promise only uncertainty. But would you rather grab hold of the uncertainty of happiness or just stick to the certainty of boredom.
What makes the human race so arrogant? We’re on this earth for a minute in history and we already think we own the universe. All it takes is a little tidal wave. A gentle blow by the mother around us, to show us that we are human. And fret not, for its at these times when we see the humility of being human.
My dog has a hip problem. My vets opinion on his treatment was to ‘put him to sleep’. Furious, I consulted a gazillion other vets only to face the same consult. I hope to one day meet a doctor who will advice me to take the kill-pill as a remedy for my recurring dizziness. I will in all honestly and sincerity, nominate him doctor of the century.

When I leave the lane of my life, I imagine a thousand things that could have done a thousand dreams unattainable, and when I lose faith in the power to touch them again, I hear something that gives me strength and attitude puts me in combat again.
An example … listen to this, perhaps motivate them to fight harder.
The power of music.
Dear nhodesign,
I read your posting yesterday, and when I see it again today, I just want to let you know, I find your words very poetic and beautiful. Thank you for sharing Clin’t Manshell’s piece ‘Requiem for a dream’. Yes sometimes we bury dreams…and as you say lets ‘fight harder’ to take better care of the dreams we still have living in the depth of our souls.
Thanks again,
Heart
A very powerful song..
Thank you dear nhodesign..
Thanks for your comments, I hope you like the sweet melody of which gives me a sense of victory, although each has their tastes concerning music, a kiss. Love you! Nho
Hi,
Anybody knows what dreams about sacrifice means. What about dream about making Covenant.
Thank you
Dear Hope,
I would suggest this: First, write down your dreams, preferably as soon as you possibly can, even before you tell them to anyone else, and in as much detail as possible. This may seem a bit tedious or tiring, but I often find that, as I begin to write the dream down – in the actual act of writing – the meaning of certain elements of the dream come clear to me.
Secondly, after you have written down your dream – if it isn’t clear enough at that point – take out a few sheets of paper and label them at the top: SACRIFICE, COVENANT, etc. Use one sheet of paper for each element in the dream which for which you hope to identify the meaning. Then spend five to ten minutes on each page, jotting down rapidly, and without censoring yourself at all, absolutely anything and everything that comes to your mind in association with that word or subject. For example, write down (in short list form) everything that you relate with the word “sacrifice.” Don’t stop to think too much in depth. You’re just fishing for the subconscious connotations which your mind holds in reference to that topic.
Then, once you have finished “fishing” your subconscious, you can look back at what you have written on these pages and try to identify any meanings or connotations which you feel are applicable to your dream.
If you are not a “word person,” drawing can also be very useful in interpreting your dreams. Draw the dream, or paint it. Sometimes, in this process, the true meaning of the content will come clear.
As for myself, I try to steer clear of all dream interpretation lists, such as those offered online and in dream encyclopedias. First of all, they are generally not comprehensive enough. They reflect only the associations held in certain cultures. Secondly, these lists do not at all take into account personal subconscious associations which one develops, over time, through personal experience. And this is what you really want to get at – not what the dream might mean to someone else or to society in general, but what it means TO YOU on a personal, subconscious level.
So, when someone says to me, for example, “I dreamed of a bluejay – what does that mean?” the first thing I say is, “What does ‘bluejay’ mean to you?” In essence, your dreams are yours – they belong to you one the deepest, most personal level, and although it might seem helpful to have others speculate about what they think your dreams mean, this sort of speculation can, at times, actually lead you very far from the true meaning. The only truly meaningful interpretation is going to be your own. You just have to take the time and be courageous enough to search for it. Let go of what “makes sense” on a conscious level and look beneath that for what is the true “meaning.”
With much love! Wishing you all the best.
Savita
Dear Savita,
I red your post over and over again. It was a strong sign for me and I blieve now that my first feelnigs was right. Thank you so much. I always read your posts and think this blog would miss alot if you did not wrote.
Much love (with responsibility) to you!
Thank you, Hope. I am happy for you that you found what you were looking for – the meaning to your dream – by following your intuition.
Much Love,
Savita
hi Savita,
ur post made me wonder do all dreams have meanings;i mean r they supposed to have a message to me (and if so is it from God or just my subconsious too tired?!),cause actually i dont sleep any deep sleep all my sleep is like different scenes joined together(sometimes even of people and places i have never met or visited;u know its like am living a random life in my sleep!);which makes it hard for me to remember or to get any logic out of them.
thanx :)
Dear Happy Feet,
Of course there are many theories on where dreams come from and what they mean, if indeed they do “mean” anything at all. In my personal view, dreams do stem from the subconscious, AND they can come from the Divine. There is this thing called the Universal Mind (some call it “God Consciousness” or use other terms to describe it), and just as it is possible to tap into this Universal Mind during a conscious state (as with “signs” and incidents of synchronicity), or in a semi- (or rather) super-conscious state (in meditation or trance), it is likewise possible to access the Universal Mind in a subconscious state, through dreams. The way I think of this is that ALL dreams don’t hold significant meaning, just as everything that we encounter in life, every single object we see, is not a “sign” from God. But some dreams are direct messages which we have received, in a sleep state, by tapping into that Universal Mind.
With this in mind, I approach dreams in the same way that I approach “signs.” No, every time you see a feather lying on the ground, it does not “mean” something. But sometimes you might see a feather and just have this overwhelming feeling that this feather does mean something – that it is a sort of “message” or “sign.” That feeling is the one you should follow. That impulse is correct. Dreams are the same. Not every dream is a “sign” or a “message,” but some are. When you FEEl that the dream is deeply significant, it probably is. That is the dream you should pay particular attention to and put effort into interpreting its meaning.
Again, let me say that this is just my personal view on dreams and what they mean, if they “mean” anything at all. There are many other views on this subject.
And, by the way, if you are dreaming so fluently that you are unable to actually rest at night, this could be due to an imbalance in serotonin or other neurotransmitters in your brain. If it is a real bother to you, you might do a bit more research on it or see a specialist. And don’t worry – I’m not suggesting there is something “wrong” with you or that you are “ill” in any sense. Many things, diet for example, can affect the serotonin levels in the brain and cause us to dream either more or less often or vividly. It isn’t something to be greatly concerned about, but if it bothers you, there are ways of addressing it so as to get a better night’s rest.

Savita
The Big Rocks of Life!
One day a wise teacher was speaking to a group of his students. He pulled
out a one-gallon, wide-mouthed mason jar and set it on a table in front of
him. Then he produced about a dozen fist-sized rocks and carefully placed
them, one at a time, into the jar.
When the jar was filled to the top and no more rocks would fit inside, he
asked, “Is this jar full?”
Everyone in the class said, “Yes.”
“Really?” he asked. “Let’s see.” He reached under the table and pulled
out a bucket of gravel. Then he dumped some gravel in and shook the jar,
causing pieces of gravel to work themselves down into the spaces between
the big rocks. Looking carefully from face to face, he smiled
benevolently and asked again, “Is the jar full?”
His class was catching on quickly. “Probably not,” one of them answered.
“Very good!” he replied. He then reached under the table and brought out a
bucket of sand. He started dumping the sand in and it went into all the
spaces left between the rocks and the gravel. When he was finished he once
again asked, “Is this jar full?”
“No!” the class shouted.
“Excellent!” he replied. Then he grabbed a pitcher of water and poured it
in until the jar was filled to the brim. Once again looking intently into
the eyes of each student, he asked, “What is the point of this illustration?”
One eager beaver raised his hand and said, “The point is, no matter how
full your schedule is, if you try really hard, you can always fit some more
things into it!”
“Aha, that’s very good!” the teacher replied, “But let us look a bit
deeper. This illustration also teaches us a higher truth: If you don’t put
the big rocks in first, you will never get them in at all!”
What are the “Big Rocks” in your life? Financial freedom? A project that
YOU want to accomplish? Time with your loved ones? Your faith, your
education, your business? A cause? Teaching or mentoring others?
Remember to put these BIG ROCKS in first or you’ll never get them in at all.
Here’s how to grow a little. Tonight just before you go to bed, or first
thing tomorrow morning take a moment to reflect on this short story, and
ask yourself this question: What are the “Big Rocks” in my life or
business? Put those in your jar first.
Wonderful story! I love it!
thanks Savita

Hi Hope,
I believe as Savita, that certain things we might see in dreams can have a personal message to us, or mean something specific – it’s about collecting info and tieing the ends together to try to understand better.
But also, there are certain symbols in dreams that have universal meanings aswell. For example: a house means the state (physical and mental) we are in. Roof and attic means things to do with our head/mind and knowledge, windows and their state can mean openness or unopennes of our personality, or eyes. Etc.
There is a good site that I use, whenever I see something in my dream to be able to clarify those universal meanings: http://www.hyperdictionary.com
All best,
Liina
Dear Liina,
The point I was making about lists or standardized interpretations is simply this: You say that a house in dream represents the state and that this is a “universal meaning.” Well, suppose I am a Mongolian nomad and I live in a ger (a yurt)? Does dreaming of a “house” mean the same thing for me? Even if I dream of a yurt instead of a Western style house, does the term “house” (of any kind) hold the same symbolism for me that it holds for people of other cultures? Or suppose I live in the jungles of South America, and I sleep in a hammock, under a palapa, and I dream of “windows?” What do windows mean to me? The structures I am familiar with don’t even have windows (or even fully enclosed walls), certainly not windows with glass panes in them, windows that can be opened and closed. So does dreaming of a “window” signify the same thing for me as it does for someone, say, from England?
What if I am a woman and I dream of myself all dressed in red, in the arms of a man? Well, if I am American, I might conclude that this relationship is one of carnal lust – that it is all about sex and nothing more. Red, for us, symbolizes passion, particularly sexual passion. If I’m from India, I might conclude that this is the man I am to marry – that this is true love. This is my wedding dress.
In the Western world, black symbolized death, loss, mourning. In much of the Eastern world, white takes on this symbolism. And the snake: this is certainly a universally recognized symbol, one would think. But for a Christian this snake might hold connotations of “the fall” and “original sin” – “temptation.” Meanwhile, for a Hindu, that snake might represent the rising of the Kundalini energy – ultimate enlightenment. Or a dragon – what about that? For a European, the dragon is this fire-breathing monster that devours people and, so, must be fought against. But for someone who is Chinese, the dream of a dragon might represent power and strength, or one’s sense of cultural identity, or many other very positive things – certainly, it wouldn’t be something to run from or fight against. Of supreme importance would be the question of how many toes does the dragon have? A question that a European would never even think to ask.
So, you see, there is no such thing as a “universal symbol.” Even the things that are most elemental and essential to human existence have widely varying connotations in different cultures. Concepts as seemingly fundamental as “sun,” “moon,” “earth,” “house” – even these do not mean the same things for all people in all places at all times. There are universal themes in dreams, to be sure, just as there are universal themes in mythology or art. But there are no “universal symbols” which mean the same for all people.
And even when we speak within the context of a singular culture, those objects of symbolism and what they represent on a cultural level is subject to alteration by the acquired meaning attained and attached to them through personal experience. Personal experience has the power not only to alter what these symbols mean to us as individuals, it can actually negate or reverse the cultural definition given to them. “Mother” – what does mother represent in a cultural context? We could probably, all together, come up with some sort of definition upon which we would agree. But what does a dream of “mother” represent to one who was abandoned or abused as a child? And is a dream of “mother” the same thing for one whose mother is still alive as it does for someone whose mother has passed away? Considerations of one’s personal experiences are essential in the interpretation of dreams.
Symbolism, whether in art, mythology or dream is a very complex structure, far too complex to be summarized in standardized lists: if you dream of this, it means that; if a painting contains X, that X represents Y; if a story mentions this object, it is a symbol of that concept. It just doesn’t work that way. The interpretation of symbols requires a certain fluidity, which must always take into account both the SPECIFIC cultural context as well as the personal experiences of the dreamer and or creator. Myths, for example, are created collectively, by cultures, not by individuals. But when we analyze a myth, seeking to discover its meaning, we still take into account the “personal experiences” of its creator – the history, physical environment, etc., of that people. We can do no less with dreams if we are to arrive at an accurate assessment of the dream’s true meaning.
With Much Love,
Savita
You are right.
The “universals” aren’t “universals” for everybody. I should of addressed it differently. I guess different things work, indeed, for different people. For me, looking for these meanings combined with my own perception works.
But then again, Hope is not me.
Although this is something I just suggested. That maybe it helps her.
I loved Your post – it’s actually something I believe in – that we all see things a bit differently and the same one thing can mean different aspects for us. For example, different people have different feelings about rain, a day, when it is raining heavily etc. Some like it, others hate it… some would want to go out and dance in the rain, others would rather stay in and pass time. Even simple matters like this, we differ.
For that – looking into oneself is the best thing, as You proposed. Although some of us (like me), may occasionally need guidance. But I guess we all have to find our own.
Actually, I think You might be the guidance for Hope. But since dreams and connecting with them is an important theme, I guess I just couldn’t stay quiet either. Heh. :)
All I can say to Hope now is that try to find, what suits for You. And if it starts to work, You will notice it. And You will know that You’ve found it.
All best!
And Savita, thank You.
Love,
Liina
The frogs’ race
Once upon a time, there was a frogs’ race.
The objective being to reach the top of the tall tower.
Lots of people gathered to see them run.
In fact, people did not think it was possible for the frogs to reach the top and never stopped saying :”It’s useless! They’ll never get there!”
The frogs started little by little,to be disheartened.
The people kept saying “It’s not worth the trouble, they’ll never get there.”
Little by little, the frogs totally lost heart except for that frog, who on her own, and with a huge effort, reached the summit.
One of them came close to ask her how she did it to undergo the trial. She suddenly noticed that the frog who arrived at the top was deaf.
Do not listen to negative people. They steal your heart’s best hopes.
Always turn a deaf ear when someone tells you that your dreams cannot come true!
Take care!

I’m sorry Paulo for I put many times the same post for the magic mountain…
Now, I should be in bed, and I’m still awake with big eyes opened. And before going to travel I don’t know where yet, I would write about an encounter I provoked this afternoon.
In the supermarket, I was waiting at the box for my turn, when an old woman began to put her shopping on the treadmill. I pushed mine to give her more place to do. She said “thanks”. I don’t know what that peculiar “thanks” provoked in me, but it reloaded me suddendly. I turn then to her for the first time, and saw her wedding ring, more than all the remain.
I turn back and came into me the idea to ask her a question. I wanted her to remind me if the bride and groom promise themselves fidelity, until death’s arrival, or not. She smiled, and says with an accent: “why do you ask me that?” “Because I’m wondering about something”, I answered. And so she told me: “yes, they do, but then it depends on the person”. I laughed, and added: “some are monogamous, others polygamous?”. She approved, always smiling. We said goodbye to each other, and I left the place.
In fact, I already knew the answer. But I often do this at the box. I like to talk to people, and exchange. But I notice they are surprised most of the time. It’s funny. :)

a story for you ,told by jeffrey Davis:
1000 Marbles !
The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings. Perhaps it’s the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it’s the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable. A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the basement shack with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other. What began as a typical Saturday morning, turned into one of those lessons that life seems to hand you from time to time.
Let me tell you about it.
I turned the dial up into the phone portion of the band on my ham radio in order to listen to a Saturday morning swap net. Along the way, I came across an older sounding chap, with a tremendous signal and a golden voice. You know the kind, he sounded like he should be in the broadcasting business. He was telling whoever he was talking with something about “a thousand marbles”.
I was intrigued and stopped to listen to what he had to say. “Well, Tom, it sure sounds like you’re busy with your job. I’m sure they pay you well but it’s a shame you have to be away from home and your family so much. Hard to believe a young fellow should have to work sixty or seventy hours a week to make ends meet. Too bad you missed your daughter’s dance recital.”
He continued, “let me tell you something Tom, something that has helped me keep a good perspective on my own priorities.”
And that’s when he began to explain his theory of a “thousand marbles.”
“You see, I sat down one day and did a little arithmetic. The average person lives about seventy-five years. I know, some live more and some live less, but on average, folks live about seventy-five years.”
“Now then, I multiplied 75 times 52 and I came up with 3900 which is the number of Saturdays that the average person has in their entire lifetime. Now stick with me Tom, I’m getting to the important part.”
“It took me until I was fifty-five years old to think about all this in any detail”, he went on, “and by that time I had lived through over twenty-eight hundred Saturdays. I got to thinking that if I lived to be seventy-five, I only had about a thousand of them left to enjoy.”
“So I went to a toy store and bought every single marble they had. I ended up having to visit three toy stores to round-up 1000 marbles. I took them home and put them inside of a large, clear plastic container right here in the shack next to my gear.”
“Every Saturday since then, I have taken one marble out and thrown it away.”
“I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I focused more on the really important things in life. There is nothing like watching your time here on this earth run out to help get your priorities straight.”
“Now let me tell you one last thing before I sign-off with you and take my lovely wife out for breakfast. This morning, I took the very last marble out of the container. I figure if I make it until next Saturday then I have been given a little extra time. And the one thing we can all use is a little more time.”
“It was nice to meet you Tom, I hope you spend more time with your family, and I hope to meet you again here on the band. 73 Old Man, this is K9NZQ, clear and going QRT, good morning!”
You could have heard a pin drop on the band when this fellow signed off. I guess he gave us all a lot to think about.
I had planned to work on the antenna that morning, and then I was going to meet up with a few hams to work on the next club newsletter.
Instead, I went upstairs and woke my wife up with a kiss. “C’mon honey, I’m taking you and the kids to breakfast.”
“What brought this on?” she asked with a smile.
“Oh, nothing special, it’s just been a long time since we spent a Saturday together with the kids. Hey, can we stop at a toy store while we’re out? I need to buy some marbles.”

Thank you so much Sido. That story is beautiful. Though I’m a bit superstitious to practise it. ;)

It’s the deepest of emotions, igniting
a candle of love
A flame forever burning, so deep for
only you and I
It is the happiness you have fulfilled
inside my heart
That has truly caused heavens angels
to never again cry.
It’s your kind heart that has captured
mine darling
It’s you who holds my heart deep in
your hands
It’s you, who is beautiful as a sunset
over the horizon
And it is you who has left footprints
in my hearts sand.
It’s the way you have expressed your
love for me
That has made me fall deeper in love
with you
It is the way you show your affection
towards me
That made me realize your love is so
pure and true.
It’s your love, written in the pages of
my heart darling
A chapter that will never end as long
as you love me
It’s with you, where I truly know my
heart belongs
You’re the treasure forever buried in
my hearts sea.

Bravo, Gil.
I google-translated because I was intrigued , seing you referring to Antoine de Saiint-Exupery’s The Little Prince, The Alchemist and Dostoyevski’s Brothers Karamazov ..
THank you Gil,
yes, after all who is ‘pop’? We have ended up labeling everything, defining everything, not focusing and losing the meaning
After all, if all these are ‘pop’ (popular) then the better for the world…

Hi Annie.
I’ll translate my text (small speech for a linguistic teacher actually) to english. I don’t trust those translating sites that much hehe.
Thanks,

Thank you Gil! :D
Pop… is a fresh summer drink… didn’t you know that my dear Annie? ;) Pop is for the masses… need I say more? ;) Love, Paul
a Soda pop… yeah really good for you :) especially when you have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner…
I am afraid I didn’t know it..! :D
Thank you dear Paul…
what do you do when a married man is stalking you? so annoying!!
I tell you about my last working place… I mention I finished Univeristy with high degree, so you get the picture. I went to work in a luxury furniture shop, owned by a man, he called himself Dutch, but he was from Iraq. All nice at beginning, I had to translate all day, stay in shop, talk to customers, give lessons to his wife, they did not understand my country language. I had to clean up the shop and in front , to move the furniture, to go after many hours after a normal programm and to work in week end too. The contract was no where. He told me is in work, tomorrow , tomorrow. Well, after a while, he come to tell me that he want come to my house, and there he wanted he make me ” nice massage”… He promised he will raise my wage, and help me to pay my bills. I thought he was joking, because I am not 20, I look not much nice, and he was old, married, I worked with his wife( a wonderful woman, kind, intelligent, pretty), and I know the boss mistress as well.
He seemed surprise by the refusal. Than, after trying once more, he started the bad treatment. All I deed was wrong since than. Till he said he hires me on the lowest wage. I said I quit.
I am sorry for his wife. She have no idea with what kind of man she stay.

I used your daily quote on my site. I don’t want to make use of your site and visitors to put the link. If you mind my taking the link (I put a link to your site) please give me an email and I will take it out. There is much wisdom in your quote. I hope that if I will ever be all alone, not to fear and have God in my heart, mind, spirit.
Have a wonderful day, dear Friend! you are important to me.
You are more than welcome to put my quote and any of my texts you find here
Hi everyone!
Yesterday, I was going to have dinner with my girlfriends. I was 5 mintes early in town and a bookshop was in front of the place I was waiting for them.
I had 500 kronor till my salary at the end of next week and was going to have dinner now, the pocket will be out in 8 months, and the book costs 250 kronor. I called my boyfriend about how much money he had and he said zero, but said “the book are better than
fruit, food and cigaretts for us, 3 minutes later I had The winner stands alone in swedish in my hand!

I totally agree with you, i’m going to look at this when I get a chance. Thank you.

This is very interesting, Thelma. Thanks for putting it out there. I was rather surprised, however, to read Article 2, #1, so I did a little research myself and found that in the Charter of fundamental rights of the European Union – http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Charter_of_Fundamental_Rights_of_the_European_Union – under Article 2, #2, the death penalty is explicitly banned. This makes me feel better, as it is my hope that, one day, the European and other countries will apply enough pressure to the United States to impose a ban on this barbaric practice here.
The death penalty is, of course, still frequently applied in the US, and, at this time, there are no plausible internal attempts to put an end to it. Texas, the state in which I live, has the highest rate of all, having executed 440 persons since 1982 (18 in 2008 alone), and currently holding 358 persons on death row. What is further interesting is that 10 of the 12 states that do not practice the death penalty, have homicide rates which are below the national average, while in many of the states where the death penalty is practiced, the homicide rate continues to climb. So, not only is this violation of basic human rights barbaric – it is also ineffective. Furthermore, in proportion to the population of African-Americans and whites in this country, far more (a disproportional number of) African-Americans are executed than whites. And who decides this? In the states which utilize the death penalty, 98% of the chief District Attorneys are white, and only 1% African-American. So, the death penalty is also unscrupulously and unjustly applied in a racist fashion.
Anyway, I want to thank you again, Thelma, for sharing this information with us. I agree with you wholeheartedly – it is not only our prerogative but our responsibility to stay informed of our rights and our duties. Sometimes it is also our responsibility to speak up and speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves.
With Much Love,
Savita
Wanted to offer this link to anyone living in the US: http://www.aclu.org/
The ACLU is a very powerful organization, whose aim is to insure human and civil rights in the United States. If one has some issue in which their rights have been violated, they can file an online complaint and, if the issue is valid, the ACLU will get involved to help them attain justice. I have had but one occasion ever to do this – when fighting for my daughter’s civil right not to have to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag in a public school – and the ACLU’s response was both swift and highly effective.
Thelma dear,
Exactly my point too. When we get insight in our human rights we can learn how to stand up against it. Thank you BFF!

hi all :),
its my first time to contribute and i was encouraged after reading ur posts..i want to share some of me with u if u dont mind…lately am so confused i cant figure out whats right and whats wrong, cant say if im a bad or good person…i always give people advices and solutions that they see very useful and admire me much, though i myself dont (or cant) apply it in my life, which leaves me feeling like am a hypocrite!
i know that we have a good fight, but i cant trust myself anymore sometimes i hurt the people i love and sometimes am so forgiving and mercifull…and i reached a conclusion is that everyone can b only one thing either good or bad…and our actions that differs from our nature is just faking…i just dont know what should i do or how to think am kinda like blank feels like running away!!
i cant fake and also i hate running away…so i decided to remain silent, cause i dont know what to say anymore.
thanks alot :)
Boredom only comes to those who wait..
unfortunately sometimes all what we have to do is waiting :)
One for all, and All for one!
Hi Paul, Carolena and all,
Thank you for explaining about your cyber harassment. I know there are laws against it in some American states, and one can even contact the Attorney General’s office about it. I hope you will find a successful way to solve this unpleasant problem.
As so many here I couldn’t understand why you suddenly were less active and didn’t respond to postings. Now, I just hope for your quick resolving of the stalkings, and the two of you to return to your participation here again!
As Aristotles said about his Ethos, Pathos and Logos, in his De Rhetorica ‘One for All and All for One, and which was the slogan for The Three Musketeers, so it is with us WOL’s; One for all, and All for one!

Thanks for the Musketeers link! What synchronicity! Just last evening, my daughter saw a kids’ movie in the store about The Three Musketeers, and she asked me, “Mom, what is a Musketeer?” I couldn’t recall the story, so I said, “I’m not sure, but I’ll find out for you tomorrow.” Beside my computer is this little list I keep, of things I need to look up online. Now I can scratch off “The Three Musketeers.”
Yes, but what about giving the second chance? Maybe I will be banned too if I took someones part. I just opened tv after the yesterday story, and seemed a further episode, with other characters…An actress fron National Theatre accused the manager of sexual harassment, and there were spicy details… But they offered the chance to comment on the facts to both protagonists. I dont mean anything, I add that I also know that in Italy, or western contries if one tell you to stop calling or messaging and you keep do, than you can go to jail.
Ok, sorry if I hurt anyone, I just cant help pity poor woman. Must be very hard not to come in that nice place, Paulo Coelho blog.
Much love
Alexandra
Again sorry if I said anything wrong
You cannot say anything wrong dear Alexandra… when you speak from your heart ♡…
All she has to do is cease the telephone harassment and offer an apology publicly here… I bear no malice… and just want peace of mind and the assurance for my family that such will never reoccur…
Believe me, I feel the pain of those in need of love… Love, Paul
You are a wonderful person Paul. Wish you all the best
God bless you dear

Giggles & Paul. Glad Thelma and Savita liked my One for All and All for one too! I wonder if they will make a remake of this wonderful story, even though most of the time I prefer the originals from the remakes, but for the next generation, Savitas daughter wouldn’t care for a 1930 version!
Oh Alexandra, are you talking about the woman in the elevator!? First of all, my ’strategy is’ when someone has been hurt, like Paul in this case, I give my full support to the hurt party, and try to prevent that person from being hurt again. Yes, the ‘bully’ need support to, and this lady needs to understand she cannot go on stalking somebody, then if she changes, she can come back, right? But this is Paulo’s and Paul’s responsibility, and I TRUST them 100% to monitor this situation to the best for all of us. You are right though Alexandra, we probably should hear out this crazy lady in the elevator too hehe.
Love and Admiration,

Dear Heart,
I just wanted to make sure that you did see my response (page 1 of the forum) and that you got a chance to reread my original post. Basically, I just want to make sure that you understand that I was not “attacking” you but giving you a compliment, as it is very important to me eradicate this misunderstanding. In a rush we all misread things sometimes, and that is okay. I just don’t want you to go on thinking that I said you were “insensitive” when I never said anything of the sort.
Thanks, and Much Love,
Savita
Dearest Savita,
I didn’t read your response yet. I’ll do it right away. Already I can tell you, I did a big mistake misreading your text the first time I did, and my response was tweaked. I am so sorry. Guess, when I hear the word ‘pope’ I see red!!! :)) And, I noticed I had read sensitive as insensitive and felt awful about it. SORRY. Read it EARLY in the morning, was half awake. Not that it’s an excuse. I will try to slow down a bit and read more carefully!
Thanks for your very KIND WORDS. Everything is fine between us always.
Love and Admiration to you (I did call you g/f which means girlfriend)
Heart
No problem g/f! As I said, we all misread things sometimes. No big deal. And we do have a great deal in common – we both, when we hear the word ‘pope,’ “see red” – even if in different contexts. (He he. Hope you will laugh too, and not get mad at me.) For me, it’s like I have this little hidden button in my psyche marked “Pope Benedict XVI” and when someone accidentally pushes it, I erupt. I know I’m a bit of an extremist when it comes to the matters we’ve discussed, but I also realize that I have to try to be a bit more sensitive to the feelings of others, especially those whom I love and admire.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to learn that little lesson.
Much Love,
Savita
:)
Hehe. Yep the pope button! I’m glad you forgive my ignorance. It is true. A few times I’ve read things here and ’seen red’ only later to go back and re-read it, and notice, god it wasn’t what I thought at all at first. So, my thing is to slow down a bit, and just try to avoid mistakes like these in the future. Than you too for learning a lesson, and for bringing it to my attention. I NEVER want to hurt you intentionally, so if I do, keep bringing it up and we can clear the air!
Again, Love and ADMIRATION g/f!!

. The wind of oblivion.
Two friends walking in the desert and fought one of them slapped the other.
The latter, without saying anything, wrote in the sand:
- Today my best friend gave me a slap.
They continued walking and found an oasis where they decided to swim.
He who had been slapped nearly drowned and his friend saved him.
When he was recaptured, he engraved on a stone:
- Today my best friend saved my life.
Whoever gave the blow and saved his friend asked him:
- When I’ve hurt you wrote in the sand and now you’ve written in stone. Pourquoi ? Why?
The other replied:
- When someone hurts us we should write it in sand where winds of forgetfulness the erase. But when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where nothing can erase.

Thank you so much, dear Sido..
I wonder why most people – and they think this is the normality!- do frankly the inverse…and so, it is so easy to ‘break’ and tear down something (e.g a relationship) and so hard to build…
I will try to do the inverse of the ‘normal’ people..

Bríndale atención a tus sentidos.
- Mañana me bañaré e iré a…..
- Haré por mí y creceré.
EL UNIVERSO SIEMPRE CONTINÚA!!!”
A poem by an unknown German Romantic, maybe written in the 19th century, badly translated by me…
Watch the moon and think about your life
Just for one moment forget about all your efforts
Forget about your responsibilities
Close the doors, close your eyes
You will fail
Think the good
Forget about all bad
You will fail
The demon claims his right
Ask the moon for the reason of being
No answer’s leaving his mouth
Interpret the silence
Feel the emptyness
And feel yourself so small
What remains
Is the wish
To have never been
One lonely night, in a lonely mood I happened to read these words (in German) and – depending on my current mood – I was fascinated by them….
Love,
Rainer
Thank you Rainer,
Without rhymes… it’s singing beautifully.
I saw a trailer tonight that was just talking about the two deep feelings of emptiness and vastness:
…
And feel yourself so big
What remains
Is the wish
To have ever been
Have a nice day.
Dear Catherine,
thanks for your ending of the poem…- positive like it should be! Like life should be! A life which is brightened by love. By the way- the German version had rhymes.
…
And fill your life with dreams
And fill your life with hopes
Look back
And forget
Leave your sorrows home
Cut away the ropes
Fill your hopes with life
Fill your life with love
And live your love all time
Look up to the sky
And smile
And tell the moon
You won’t ever die
Beijinhos,
Rainer
I watched full moon the other night and I was feeling overwhelmed by
its beautiful brightness…..it made me forget about my worries, etc. Its strange…but this is absolutely how I was thinking and it gave me peace of mind.
dear Paul from Austria
If this is of any help, I have currently four female stalkers.
a] I put a filter in my mailbox, so they go directly to the trash can.
b] I consider this type of stalker as a compliment. Of course, this may create some family problems, but Chris just laugh and I am sure your wife will take it easy. The only problem are your phone calls. At the end of the day, as they are not collect calls…don’t worry.

If only all was really fair in love & war… ;)
Thanks for your battle maneuver tips, which are all quite valid & implementable… it’s important to see the humorous side…
I thank all of you here for your solidarity… & as Paulo says… it’s done… & hopefully over… onward now to the next test…
Love, Paul
“at the end of the day they are not collect calls” = brilliant.
But dear man, Paul from Austria, do you not know that the next test is “text”
Um… do you know something I do not RKice…? Nice Blog… Paul
Happy Paul that you expressed your limit and asked for help in that problem of yours, and happy that something and may I say many things happened to you since (Paolo’s solidarity and intervention as he could, stopping if I comprehend of the stalking for the moment and being able also to see the problem with a bit of humor) And yes, tests … and welcome on planet Earth! Cordially, Jojo.
Very observant of your dear JoJo, I do have a problem with asking for help and my limits are very high… but although I have been nick named the cloud dweller… believe me, I’m very much down to and on this earth… ;) Salutations, Paul
Dearest Paul, you are very humble, kind and gentle and it is not that ‘your limits are very high’ .. It is that you do not want to see ‘ugliness and selfishness’ in others, you being .. luminous. But remember Evil appeared as a .. Snake!! The new Warriors of the Light issue is about it!!!!
Remember, Cloud Dweller is Not a nick name .. It is an .. Honour!
You have been a fighter of life from very young age, have seen all the ugliness of the world BUT you have preserved your Soul pure and innocent as a child’s..
LOVE,
Thelma xxx
Sure that you are Dear Paul. It was just a hilarious moment for me to just say that … Like the nickname! The same would apply to me for many persons around me … you are too much in the cloud, come back! Well, I say, you need a trip, a little vacation I reply at times! Take care Paul. Jojo.
Reflections,
When the going gets tough, the tough get going. No matter how tough the going gets, I shall stay cool and fight hard. Let the waves of time test my patience. Let the vicious talons of adversity try to rip me apart. Let the battalion of temptations lure me into its realm. I’ll stay cool. I’ll fight back.
May I not yearn for contentment or satisfaction in life cause satisfaction makes life boring. Way too boring. It deadens the very essence of living. May I not try to be happy with what I have cause that’s compromising. And that smothers the fire of passion burning inside me-the one which drives me to rise, to succeed, to excel. I know I might fail. I’m aware that the failure could be heart-breakingly miserable. But at the very least the pinching guilt of not even trying won’t haunt me. One is responsible for what happens to him. Only cowards blame fate for their own failures. And I am no coward. I have a long way to go, and I’m raring to go. There is a distinct, different destiny carved just for me. I have a lot to accomplish, and it will certainly be accomplished. I don’t promise to smile in the face of obstacles, but I’ll try my best not to break down. I’ll be glad if I were to be bestowed with huge problem, because that rightfully proves I was capable enough to face it…
There is a whole world out there to be explored, a medley of such beautiful locations, emotions, situations, persons never seen or heard of…If I waste my time I don’t think I shall experience them all. The past is gone. The future is distant. All I have is this moment-let me give it my all.
Payoshaa, very beautiful wise reflections..

Dear Friends,
You know it is not my style to wash my laundry in public, but a certain person who comments regularly in “Paulo’s Blog” has changed her pseudonym… but behind the scenes, she continues to abuse my privacy…
MIRELA BARON… abused my privacy before, (originally on the pretense of my delivering a present from her to Paulo Coelho on the occasion of his St Joseph’s Day party in Paris earlier this year) and now she continues the abuse, by calling my private telephone number day & night, without consideration for my family…
She also ruined my Pilgrimage to Santiago by turning up for my arrival there and she continues to harass me now as… LUMINITA AMON!!! This is Mirela Baron’s new pseudonym!
So with due respect to you dear Paulo, I must warn Mirela Baron alias Luminita Amon, here publicly, that if she continues to harass me & my family, I will have no alternative but to report her to the authorities as a STALKER!!!
I wish you all a wonderful day… Love, Paul
Dear Paul, we are going to erase all comments by Luminita Amon. Thank you
I dont know what was there. But why she did that??? I also have a doubt was her. I have nothing against her, but how she got your private number?
Dear Paulo, it is your blog and it is therefore your prerogative. I very much appreciate your solidarity. Thank you… Paul
IT’S DONE

Dear Paul,
This is AWFUL. I once had a telephone stalker myself, and can imagine what you and your family is going through. In my case the person stopped after I told her I would report the harassment to authorities. Yes, our community of WOL’s needs to work together to be free of hostility!
Love and Admiration,
Heart
First of all – welcome back, Paul. You haven’t been around for a while.
Wow, Paul. Real life (reality) drama.
On one hand, these situations make a pure comedy movie – Your life is, at least interesting – You have a stalker! No, that was a bad joke. Really.
But with respect, I know that feeling, I’ve had a phone stalker myself. If a person is blinded by something, they don’t understand (like You mentioned – she doesn’t take Your family into consideration). And that’s a bad situation.
Hope it will turn out for better.
All best,
Liina
Dear Paul, you know, I could ’sense’ what was going to happen, from the first minutes in Paris.. , but of course, I could not say anything.. I might have been misunderstood.
So I am sorry you had to find out and experience it with the hard way, by yourself.
You know, we respect and love you.
Thank you Paulo Coelho.

i AM NOT MARRIED, BUT I DID RECEIVE PHONE CALLS, AT TIMES NO ONE TALKED, SO WAS FREAK, AS IN HORROR MOVIES…I COULD ONLY HEAR A BREATH THERE…ANOTHER TIME I RECEIVED MESSAGES, OF GREAT ADMIRATION. THEY WERE REALLY IMPRESSIVE. ACTUALLY, I WOULD LOOVE TO KNOW WHO WAS THE PERSON, BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED. EVERYTHING SHOULD HAVE A LIMIT, AND A WOMAN IS NOT NICE IF HUNT A MAN, I THINK ALWAYS THE MAN IS THE HUNTER.IF THE MAN MARRIED, EVEN WORST IF THE WOMAN CANT STOP.
IS A SIGN SHE HAVE NO SELF CONFIDENCE AND RESPECT.
I AM BIT SHOCKED TO READ ABOUT THAT STORY. CANT SEE THE SENSE OF IT.
WISH ALL OF YOU PEACE OF MIND AND ONLY TRUE FRIENDS.
LOVE
ALEXANDRA
Dear Alexandra, you are right: Confidence and Respect. The man is the ..hunter, although it is the woman who makes the choice and gives the … green light!!
Regarding ’silent phone calls’.., when this happened to me I let ‘him’ breath {!!!!] and then said:-What a shame you spend your money on telephone calls and never speak!! And do YOU KNOW, now the Tel. Authority and the Police have just traced your phone… [GPS]
That was the end for … Lancelot!
As for some .. ‘women’ calling for my husband: I said to him: tell them to call to .. your office! I need my peace!
Regarding the quote:’ All is fair in Love and War..’, I think we have to respect the .. Convention of Human Rights!!
I am reading from the European Convention of Human Rights:Article 1 The right to human dignity. It must be respected and protected.
Article 7. The Right for respect for private and family life. etc.
Of course, one’s Rights stop where somebody else’s begin!
So dearest Paul, I am, as always, holding the Balance for .. Law and Order!! But most of all I believe in ..Liberty/ Freedom/ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΙΑ.
What was the motto of the French Revolution??
Liberté, Fraternité, Equalité!!! [ I am not sure about my ..spelling] ;-]
LOVE,

Alexandra.
Respectfully. I’d have to disagree – if a man did the same thing, I wouldn’t take it as a compliment. It wouldn’t, in fact, be any difference, if the person was a woman or a man.
A disrespect of privacy in both cases.
Ty,
Liina
Hi Paul and Paulo,
I certainly know how you feel. I have some stalkers too, on mysapce. It’s gotten so out of hand that it is making me feel sick.
That’s why I don’t come here so often either, I miss you guys, all of you Paul, Alexandra, Heart, Annie, Thelma, Aditya, but I just have to stay away because I’ve become allergic to the internet right now. I’ll try to come back soon.
I hope they will not bother you or I should say Us, anymore.
kisses.
MIss you too, Carolena…Ahhhhhh!!!!
Ok, now I hate hate hate hate stalkers!!!!!!!
Love and Graditude
Annie
second that !
strange things happen in life. but what drives a person to stalk another, why not ask that lady to answer, what is her side of the story.
i can understand your pain dear paul, but why is she stalking you, have u asked her ?
all this talk about going after one’s dreams can send one down the wrong lane too. a simple rule as suggested by thelma helps us remain civiised ‘my rights end where another’s begins’ but for people who are ‘in love’ sanity is not always a companion.

aditya
There is no question dear Aditya… that Mirela Baron (real name) alias Luminita Amon is of course, as we all are, chasing her dream… but she is under an illusion that there is more within a friendly act than there is in reality…
Upon hearing that I had been invited to Paulo’s Party, here in this very Blog, she publicly asked if I would transport a present to Paulo Coelho in Paris on her behalf, (we both live in Vienna, Austria) I merely agreed to be the messenger… No more… No less…!
The rest is, unfortunately for her, a complete misunderstanding…
Blessings, Paul
Yeehhh, on myspace I got too many stalkers…very annoying. They change id continually, so hard to keep them away. Ohhhhhh
What a pity
And I miss the occasional interaction with you too Paulo!
Thank you Paul for the wish. I hope everything will be alright for you.
With love.
Dear Paul
If you are still getting calls, I would phone your telephone operator\police so they can log it.
I used to get calls in the middle of the night from someone weird, unknown, who would withhold their number, I phoned the phone company and they blocked it… don’t know if you can do that in Austria.
I also had a stalker (an ex), and had to get the police involved, it was very frightening.
It is a very distressing situation, and you have my sympathy.
With love
Pandora
Oh, Am I the only one here that have not been in Paris, met everybody in this blog in real life? It seems that you have been in a party before with Paulo Ceolho? I feel like an outsider :(
No, I was not there too. But maybe next year, I hope…Who knows.Would be wonderful.
You are not outsider,ok.
Much love
Alexandra
Dear Paul,
I was just thinking about you yesterday – about you absence from the blog – and wondering if this issue was what was keeping you away. Of course, I did not know about this new development and the continued harassment. At any rate, your presence is greatly missed here, and I am wishing you and your family much peace. Hoping that all of this is completely behind you very soon.
With Much Much Love,
Savita
PS
I admire you for being so brave – for coming out with it in public and saying what you felt must be said.
Yes, indeed, Paul was so kind to me from the beginning. I hope he will be fine from now on, and enjoy life at the best. The sharing of his journey towards Santiago was so great. Big admiration for him.
Much love
Alexandra
Hello Paul,
I hope you are fine now with thi theme…
Kisses
Hi Barcelona… you certainly make 20 euros go a long way ;) Lovely to see you back again… Yes I’m fine, thank you so much for asking… Love, Paul
“The more you judge, the less you love.”
Beautiful saying. It pretty much sums up everything, doesn’t it? Love (not the constricting love which seeks to “possess” but the freeing love of ALL living beings) enables us to see the world with eyes of compassion, kindness, tolerance, forgiveness and understanding. Love, in that sense, is all and everything that really counts.
Thank you Savita. Just like that, you said it so well

Lovely! Thank you so much. Of course I cannot hear it is a Steinway, as my musical skills aren’t like yours. It does makes a difference to me to know that your own Steinway is like Annies Sulfur, like a dear companion.
Oh, Thelma I just have to quote some Gibran to you, as I’ve seen you refer to him too, and this made me think about you when I read it;
‘The sorrowful spirit finds rest when united with a similar one. They join affectionately, as a stranger is cheered when he sees another stranger in a strange land. Hearts that are united through the medium of sorrow will not be separated by the glory of happiness. Love that is cleansed by tears will remain eternally pure and beautiful’.
We share so much sorrow AND happiness here, which both are part of a meaningful life. This is what I adore by the Warriors of Light!
Thank YOU for being here with us Thelma!
Love you,

That was so beautiful, sis…
Thank YOU both for being here with us…(well, with me ;o) and the all the rest hehe)

Now you, my beloved ones, Annie, Heart, Pandora, Paul and Paulo Coelho, have managed … to make me… cry, with your being there and your beautiful words.. Gibran’s words have made the miracle!! Happiness and joy are what phenomena show!
But music made me cry too, today! So much beauty, so much effort and work to reach .. perfection! No one really ‘knows’ that an artist opens his soul ‘uncovered’ to .. public view … So is with writing, painting …
I love you and I embrace you with all my heart..
LOVE,
Thelma xxx
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful Thelma, more Khalil Gibran for you:
I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
“Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.
“But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.
“Go, my beloved; Love has chosen you her delegate;
Over her, for she is Beauty who offers to her follower
The cup of the sweetness of life.
As for my own empty arms, your love shall remain my
Comforting groom; your memory, my Eternal wedding.”

Three Gates of Wisdom !
A King had for only son a young courageous skillful and intelligent Prince. He sent him to see a Wise Old man so that he would open his mind to awarness.
- “Enlighten me as to the path I sould take”, pleaded the Prince.
- “My words will only vanish like foot steps in the sand, replied the Wise man. However I’ll accept to give you some indications. On your path, you will come across three gates. Read the sayings on each one of them. You will be overwhelmed with the need to follow them. Do not seek to turn away, you would be condemned to live again and again that which you had run away from. I cannot say any more. You must fell all this in your heart and flesh you may, go now. Follow the road, right ahead of you.”
The Wise Old man disappeared and the Prince started walking on the Path of the Life. He was soon across a large gate on which one could read:
“CHANGE THE WORLD”.
- “This is precisely what I intended to do , thought the Prince, if some things are pleasurable in this world, others are not.”
And he started its first struggle. Driven by ideal, his ardour and his strength pushed him to be confronted with the world, he undertook, conquered, modelled reality to his desire. He experience the pleasure and the exhileration of the conqueror, but his heart was not at rest. He managed to change certain things but others would not give way.
Long years went by. One day, he met the Wise Old man who asked him:
- “What did you learn on the path?”
- “I learned, replied the Prince, to see what was in my power and what was beyond it, to see what depended on me and what didn’t “.
- “Well done, said the Old Man. Use your strength to act upon on what you can. Forget about what is beyond you.”
And he vanished.
Sometime later the Prince came acroos a second gate. One could read on it:
“CHANGE OTHERS”
- “This is precisily what I intend to do, thought the Prince. Others give joy and pleasure, but also cause pain and bitterness and frustration.”
And he rose against all that could disturb or displease him in his fellow being. He struggled to alter their minds, and correct their faults. This was to be his second battles.
Many more years went by. One day, as he was meditating on the uselessness of his attempts to change others, he came across the Wise Old man and he asked him:
- “What did you learn on your path?”
- “I learned, answered the Prince, that the others are not the source of my joys or sorrows, my achievements or failures. They are only there to make me aware. I am the one to grow these feelings in me.”
- “You are right, said the Wise man. Though what they awaken in you, they made you aware of yourself. Be grateful towards those who make you fee joy and pleasure. But be also grateful to these hurt and frustrate you for through, them Life teaches you. When you have yet to learn, and the long way ahead of you.”
And the Old Man vansished. A little time after, the Prince come across a door where you could read the words:
“CHANGE YOURSELF”.
- “If I am myself the cause of my problems, thsi is that I have to do” he though.
And he started his third struggle. He tried to inflect his character, to fight his imperfections, to remove his defects, and change every thing which didn’t correspond to his ideal.
After many years of struggle during which he was at times successful at times defeated, the Prince met the Wise man who asked him:
- “What did you learn on your path?”
- “I learned, replied the Prince, that somes things can be improved, others which resist and can’t be change.”
- “Well done,” said the Wise man.
- “Yes, the Prince went on, but I’m getting weary offighting against everythings, and againts myself. Won’t this neve end? When will I be at rest? I wich to stop fighting, to give up, let go.”
- “This happens to be your next lesson, Wise Old man said. But before further going any further, turn around the gate and look back at the way you’va already tread.”
And it vanished. As he looked back, the Prince saw in the distance the 3rd gate and realized that one could read a different message on the back of it:
“ACCEPT YOURSELF”
The Prince wonderad why he hadn’t noticed this inscription when it had crossed the gate the first time, in the opposite direction.
- “When one is fighting, one becomes blind, he said to himself.”
He also saw, spread on the ground around him, every thing he had rejected and fought within himself: his faults, his dark side, his fears, his limits, and all his old daemons. He then learnt how to recognize them, accept them and love them. He learnt how to love himself without comparing himself, judging himself, blaming himself.
He came across the Wise Old man who asked him:
- “What did you learn along the path?”
- “I learned, replied the Prince, that to hate or refuse part of myself was to condemn myself never to be at peace with myself. I learned how to accept myself, completely, unconditionally.”
- “Well done, said the Old Man, it is the first stage of Wisdom. Now you go through the 3rd gate again.”
Just as he had reached the other side of the gate, the Prince saw the back face of the second gate and it said:
“ACCEPT OTHERS”.
All around him he recognized the people he had met in his life; those he had loved, those he had hated. Those he had helped, those he had fought. But to his surprise, he was now unable to see their faults which has disturbed him so much, and against which he had fought so much.
He came across the Wise Old man again.
- “What did you learn on your path?” asked this last.
“I learned, replied the Prince, that if I were on peace with myself, I would have nonthing to blame others for, nothing to fear of them. I have learned to accept others totally and unconditionally.”
- “Well done,” said the Wise Old man. It is the second stage Wisdom. You can go through the second gate.
When he arrived on other side, the Prince saw the back of the first gate and read:
“ACCEPT THE WORLD”.
- “That is strange, he thought, “Why didn’t I see the inscription the first time?”
He looked around him and recognized the world he had tried to conquer, transform, and change. He was hit by the brightness and the beauty of all things. By their perfection. And yet it was the same world as it used to be. Had the world changed, or had his perception of it changed?
He come across the Wise Old man and asked him:
- “What did you learn on your path?”
- “I learned, the Prince said, that the world is the mirror of my soul. That my soul, my heart does not see the world, but sees itself in the world. When it is cheerful, the world seems merry. When it is gloony, the world seems sad. The world, is neither merry or sad. It just is; that is all. It was not the world that was troubling me , but the idea I had of it. I accepted to accept it without judging it, to tally, unconditionally.”
- “This is the 3rd Wisdom, said the Old Man.You are now at greace within yourself and others in the World.”
A deep feeling of peace, serenity and fullfilement overwhelmed the Prince. Silence was within himt.
- “You are ready, now, to cross the last Threshold, said the Wise Old man, From the silence of fulfillment of Silence”.
And the Old Man disappeared.

sometimes I can listen to one melody over and over again. This is one of them, and then my thoughts just floats in the rhythm of the music.
By the way, I just read Paulo’s comment to Paul that Chris, his wife just laughs, when women are stalking him. In fact, something funny happened last time I visited my husband, Mike at work. One of his female co-workers passed him and said; ‘Hiiiiiii Mike’ and another female co-worker asked me how I like my husband to be a celebrity? So I told her, I like it because it keeps him young :)
Dream on young lady!

I loved your spontaneous response to that co-worker! :D
It also shows how much you Love him, and that Love is not at all about posession and being selfish..
Love you so much

Yesterday I saw a preview: “imagine a world where everyone can only tell the truth…”
It’s about the last movie of Jennifer Garner. I found the idea so interesting and so funny.
How would that world appear..?
Here’s the trailer:

Hi Catherine Martinez!! I hope everything is wonderful with your life..
“Imagine if everyone … was telling the truth”!!! Everyone to be .. transparent.. New values, new … loves.

Dear Thelma,
i like not lie , and I like to say “I do not lie never”, the confidence may be Total
I often to my son, since I think that the honesty with oneself and the other is so important
I talked to my son a history, so that it should understand the importance of not lie :
It is the history of Pierre, a small berger. Day , he cried “wolf! Wolf! ” And shepherds’ ran toward him to come to its aid , but Pierre is”, to them when they arrived.
Another day , Pierre cria to new “Wolf! Wolf!” and the other shepherds arrived to the rescue , but Pierre is”, again to them.
But one day , a genuine loup arrived before the herd and before Pierre . Frightened , he cried terrified ” Wolf!Wolf! ” … Nobody came to its aid .
Pierre was eat by the wolf !!
Because a liar is never thought …
Thus the love is also the honesty toward every man, and to oneself to grow in each the confidence and love for all
Love
Sido
Correction of my post. sorry for the bad translation:
should read “Pierre gibe to them (laughs at his joke)” and not “Pierre is”
Dear Sido, thank you for reminding us this wise story. My father used to tell it to us when I was very, very small and I remember every time I felt so sorry for the lying shepherd!!
I hate lies, I never say.. To be a liar you must have a perfect memory or, for sure, you will be caught and be .. ridiculed and humiliated.
LOVE,
Thelma xxx
Dear Sido66
Thank you for your post about “Pierre et le loup”. I wonder how that story has the same name as that one, where never the wolf ate Peter. :)
On the contrary, the latter catches the wolf to save the bird, stops the hunters from shooting the captured, leading then a cortege to the zoo, to offer them the wolf.
Maybe two opposite stories, or an ancient “fake” for children. :)
Best regards.
Thank you dear Thelma. :)
I wish everything was wonderful…
Some is, and I’m happy for.
I hope also that your life’s still a grace.
With love too. ;)

Dear Paulo and wols, I was looking for Love in the internet, and found this interesting to share with all of you
(Dear Ilva, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, haunt us again! )
Mamma Thelma, you are in there too ;o)
:
The following is from Wikipedia——————————
There are several Greek words for love, as the Greek language distinguishes how the word Ancient Greek has four distinct words for love: agape, eros, philia, and storgē. However, as with other languages, it has been historically difficult to separate the meanings of these words. Nonetheless, the senses in which these words were generally used are given below.
* Agapē (αγάπη agápē) means “love” in modern day Greek, such as in the term s’agapo (Σ’αγαπώ), which means “I love you.” In Ancient Greek, it often refers to a general affection rather than the attraction suggested by “eros.” Agape is used in ancient texts to denote feelings for a good meal, one’s children, and the feelings for a spouse. It can be described as the feeling of being content or holding one in high regard.
* Eros (love) (ερως érōs) is passionate love, with sensual desire and longing. The Modern Greek word “erotas” means “(romantic) love;” however, eros does not have to be sexual in nature. Eros can be interpreted as a love for someone whom you love more than the philia, love of friendship. It can also apply to dating relationships as well as marriage. Plato refined his own definition: Although eros is initially felt for a person, with contemplation it becomes an appreciation of the beauty within that person, or even becomes appreciation of beauty itself. It should be noted Plato does not talk of physical attraction as a necessary part of love, hence the use of the word platonic to mean, “without physical attraction.” Plato also said eros helps the soul recall knowledge of beauty, and contributes to an understanding of spiritual truth. Lovers and philosophers are all inspired to seek truth by eros. The most famous ancient work on the subject of eros is Plato’s Symposium, which is a discussion among the students of Socrates on the nature of eros.
* Philia (φιλία philia) means friendship in modern Greek. It is a dispassionate virtuous love, a concept developed by Aristotle. It includes loyalty to friends, family, and community, and requires virtue, equality and familiarity. In ancient texts, philos denoted a general type of love, used for love between family, between friends, a desire or enjoyment of an activity, as well as between lovers.
* Storge (στοργή storgē) means “affection” in ancient and modern Greek. It is natural affection, like that felt by parents for offspring. Rarely used in ancient works, and then almost exclusively as a descriptor of relationships within the family. It is also known to express mere acceptance or putting up with situations, as in “loving” the tyrant.
* Thelema (θέλημα thélēma) means “desire” in ancient and modern Greek. It is the desire to do something, to be occupied, or to be in prominence.

I guess, Annie, NOW (when I’m naked) I have to turn from Monkey into a Woman “Patience”.

When I am naked, Annie, I imagine that I am Eve…
But..lying down naked.. I prefer that my Fantasy Train moves…not me… I prefer to be a lovely “pet” of my Adam and never be too close to him…That is my Paradise. My Heaven.
Annie, Kalinka in Chess means:
Red Berry — The Snow Ball Tree — “virginity”
My dear Asotite, for Patience you need Time..SO if you have Time , then do it ;o)
And if Patience is a woman, then you need more Time..or not just more time, but lots of Time…

Ok, enough for today.
Alice is going to bed! :)
By the way, Annie, two days ago I asked you to “shoot” me.
In reply from you I received: “I shoot you with a devil’s egg”
May I ask you to explain me what it means – “a devil’s egg”?
Asote
P.S. Unfortunately (or thanks to God), In Latvian we do not have such an expression…
A devil’s egg or a deviled egg is this

And believe me when you throw it to a person , it makes a mess!!
I just shoot you with it for fun ;o) (since we were talking about the ‘egg and chicken dilemma’ )

How can I be so foolish? :D
Dearest Swannie, beautiful.. I have never thought of Θέλημα as meaning also ‘desire to do something, to be occupied, or to be in prominence’.
To be occupied!! It is true.. My mind is always … occupied and full of .. love, music, beauty and dreams!!
LOVE you,

Well, honestly my heart always knew it..YOU ARE prominent! because of your immense and eminent beauty (being Love and Music)…

Lovers Melody 2009
As spring welcomes the bee
with flower strewn
blankets of grass,
the sky swells up with joy
to meet the ocean’s kisses,
love drifts down in
dew silk drawn tears
and the wind
laughs quietly
in joyous melodies,
where lovers arms dance
to the rush of oak
limbs climbing
to heaven.
Two souls
in search of the other;
you,
slipping into

Oh, is that you, Alexandra? New nickname “Nikky”? Sounds beautiful!
By the way, it was nice to get to know that in Chinese Horoscope you were a “dog” (as you told it to Savita). I have to say – me too. I am a “dog” also. :)
Much love,
Asote
Dear Ilva, I had a moment of weakness, and wrote a silly childish poem. As I am shy, I tried to post under a nickname, infact, not really, for is my second name, Nicoleta. Friends call mye Nikky at times, they say Alexandra not so sweet. But, I saw my image was same, so all my hide and seek efforts were useless. lol
Thank you dear, have a nice time
Dogs are really great, everyone need one as a friend, is written there. Ohh, nice.

I am afraid I do not agree with Madonna…. for me satisfaction is not related to pain..

Hrm Manolo. Sometimes we should just listen..
Have a great day Ilva & Paulo!
Yours,

Dear Heart,
1] Manolo = God is with us (Spanish baby boy’s name)
2] But in Latvian: “Mana ola” means “MY EGG”
And, yes, this day was really great!
Yours,

What is “Hrm” sis?? :/
Hrm — Hermes
What else? Any other ideas? :D
I said Hrm… as a sound for questioning the meaning of what Paulo said to Ilva. Is Hrm an Norwegian abbreviation? God, I don’t know if I think Norwegian or English anymore :)
I was just scratching my head wondering…but that is Ilva’s and Paulo’s business..I’m not curious…or am I?

Dearest Annie,
I think this is one of the brightest quotes of Confucius:
“Woman who wear something from Victoria’s Secret, have no more secrets.”
By the way, it’s my favorite! That’s why I prefer to stay naked… :D
With Love,
Asote
Sunetele aluneca lin
Luna este cea care
Cu Viora ei vrajita
La dans iubire ne invita.
Da-mi mana ta
Da-mi mana ta
Hai sa plutim
lin
Valurile iscate din senin
Valurile de sunete
ne duc usor
Peste nori
Noi doi
Ascultam coplesiti
Ne lasam cuprinsi
invaluiti
De dulcele cant Universal
Un sunet fara egal
Care ne leaga
Natural.
What does this mean, dear Alexandra?
I liked the verses : Da-mi mana ta :o)

Todays poem. A really short one.
Live the DREAM.
Forget the FEAR.
Love,
L.
Dear, Liina.L
Let’s live the dream.
Thank you,
Supia
Dear liina,
I want to add one more line.
Live the DREAM.
Forget the FEAR.
The DREAM will show you the WAY
Every day, we are presented things that have some kind of external image. And often this is the only thing we are allowed to rely on. The things that we see, or that we are told to be seen.
May we still be able dig a little deeper.
To look further than what we’ve been fed.
And we shall break the blindness that’s been tried to knit slowly over our eyes and shadow us as a thick fog in the night. May we avoid the try of others planting the prejudices into us.
May we see the truth behind the exterior.
Thank You,
Liina
PS! Open Your eyes, wide…
Hear a joke . I share.
So, once Ceausescu, president of Romania, and Gorbacheov, president of Rusia, were invited at a formal dinner. They set nearat the table. All were perfect, gold spoons, so on, a very nice table. Gorbacheov whispers at Ceausescus ear: look, how many nice things…would be a pity if we not take away at least one gold spoon…
Ceausecu agree. So Gorbacheov take a spoon and hide it into his pocket.
Thats the moment Ceausescu raise, and loudly announce:
Is there anybody who would like a moment of magic???
Sure!!
said the other guests.
Than, Ceausescu took a spoon, put into his pocket, and took the other spoon from the pocket of Gorbacheov….
Hehe. Alexandra…ok here is a Russian joke about Ivan who owns a goat, and Boris, who does not, an injustice Boris bitterly resents. One night Boris is visited by his guardian angel. “I see your problem,” the angel says, “and now I’ll give you what you want.” Boris cheers up and asks. “You mean you’re going to kill Ivan’s goat?”
…
let me add
asura xyz ( asura is a demon, funny know in indian mythology both asura that is demons and gods, do auterities, penance to please gods, usually asura are more single minded and succeed in getting boons which screw up the gods existnace who are anyway quite fond of three Ws wine, women ( apsara) and wealth, but that and those are another story, some other time) intense auteriries were done lord siva was pleased and askef the demon to seek a boon, knowing the demon he put a condition, whatvere he asks for himslef, twice that amount will be egiven to everyone else. the demon though and thought and finally said ‘ destroy my one eye’, like a true demon.

p.s. we must be careful of what we wish!!
Yes, careful with what we wish… But if we wish to do the Will of God, we cannot go wrong. Today is the feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows, who stood patiently by the foot of the cross, and shed her tears for her son. Thelma you and I don’t have a son, but sometimes we both shed tears for human kind. These are tears of gold. Don’t you forget it BFF! Tears of gold. However, we need to cheer up, as someone said in the blog, if we force our self to smile, to put a smile on our face, we actually often will feel happier!
Love you, and MY BEST WISHES FOR YOU!!!
Heart
Another nice … good morning dear Heart, BFF!!! A read your comments while you are … asleep! [This is the title of a nice, romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock. 'While you were asleep']!!
I have ceased being able to cry… since my father died, 30 years ago! At the same time I was pregnant and lost the baby, my sister got a divorce, my mother was ill .. So much sadness .. But next day I got up I opened my eyes and decided that this is .. life. It is not my .. fairy tale dream world.. I took off my .. pink glasses and become a .. realistic person. A very practical and rational.
I do not cry.. Or I maybe am dying from sadness, but I always make jokes and … laugh.. I laugh, because I ‘know’ that everything belongs to the … theatre of .. life, to the journey.. The real, is in HIS house and, as you say above, in HIS WILL, to which I fully obey and surrender.
LOVE,
Thelma xxx
Thelma dear,
This is a big surprise to me, that you don’t cry, because you so often mention tears in your eyes hehe. Yep, theater of life, pick up the pieces and move on. Myself I don’t cry often anymore either, just once in awhile, perhaps twice a year :) Only in my private chamber of course. It really always feels very cleansing when I do. I never hold back tears when I am alone. If I feel like crying I do. Yep, surrender to life, emotions, let life flow towards and away from us..
Love and Admiration BFF!

Mikhail Gorbachev’s “golden spoon” is on his forehead. He doesn’t need more. But Nicolae Ceausescu had a great intuition! An he relied on it! :D
Hello to all. May I join the community?
@Sir Paulo Coelho: I’ve never read any of your books yet, Sir. But my friends say that you are a great author. Can’t buy “The Alchemist” yet. Still saving up. BTW, I’m from the Philippines. ^_^
You are WELCOM, dear Pylon!
Dearest Annie,
Yesterday after our long and exiting conversations I cried as a child… Yes, Annie, I cried as a little white monkey who has lost his/her way. Every single „move” seemed wrong. Every „P A R T” seemed as the biggest mistake! Nothing seemed good enough.
This morning I went to the bus station (to go to the city where I’m living and working). And here he was standing….! Gharib. What does he want from me? – I asked. Yes, Annie, I wanted to run away. TO RUN AWAY and NEVER meet him again. But here he was standing and waiting FOR ME!
„You….you are… my zahir…. and you are… absent… And…. I want to know nothing about your… Chess!” I said heavily.
But you know, Annie, he smiled and seemed very satisfied and happy. He said:
„Even when God seems absent in believer’s life, He’s present. God is The Great Gull. And God is the Great Chessman. Not me. But when the Cat says „miow” be friendly – always answer with „miow”… And remember: Zahir in Chess is „The Manifest”!”
And AGAIN, Annie, I’m dancing under that Banana Tree! Can you see it, Annie? Can you? I’m jumping up and down, then moving my hips right and left!!! :)
Have a nice day, Annie – „a deer with a heart of a butterfly, with a courage of a woman, in a shape of a girl and the eys of …an owl”!
Your Asote
P.S. „STRANGE house” = „House of the Great Chessman”
Yes, you may shoot me now! :D
My dear Asotite,
no need to cry, you know crying won’t fix any problem, it will just release the tension..
my father keeps saying “Ο εχθρος του καλού είναι το καλύτερο” which means that ‘the enemy of good is the best’, meaning that sometimes we don;t need to make a fuss about achieving perfection, or get disappointed by the result./.fighting the good fight is enough, and what is ‘expected’ of us..
Running away , from situations won’t help you either on any occasion..they will resurface back after a time, because they need to be ’solved’..
I must say I don’t understand this quote of him “Zahir in Chess is „The Manifest”!”…
I am glad you are dancing again, yes, I see you!! :D after all I have the eyes of an owl, which can see greatly even in the light of day!
p.s I have to say, no ‘house’ is a strange ‘house’ ..at least for those who are leaving in it, it is not strange…..
Love and Graditude
Annie
Chess Quote for Life: “When you see a good move, look for a better one!” /Emanuel Lasker/
Perfection and Chess, Annie, has no limits…
chess should be played playfully !
Yes, dear Aditya, you are right…! :)
“Zahir in Chess is “The Manifest”!”
^^ ^^ I don’t know, Annie. I do not understand it also.
Maybe it’s some kind of “the “Manifistation of God”?
I DO NOT KNOW.
Yes, and I must say that the English language is MY Hell. :)
“Manifestations of God are the only channel for humanity to know about God, and they act as perfect mirrors reflecting the attributes of God into the physical world.”
1] The Manifest…
2] The Manifesto…
3] The Manifestation…
Who could help “what is what”? :)
The Manifistation of God – PROBABLY it could be the right answer.
I think I am not the appropriate person to tell the difference between these 3 words..
If it is the Manifestation of God, then how is Zahir connected to that?
I love and agree with your quote
“Manifestations of God are the only channel for humanity to know about God, and they act as perfect mirrors reflecting the attributes of God into the physical world.”
PROBABLY Zahir in Chess is “more than an obsession”.
1] Obsession is a negative passion.
2] Mirror, mirror, on the wall…
3] Passion is a positive obsession.
1] Have passion for what you do;
2] Passion for God (a burning passion in your heart to do His work – to Love);
3] God’s Passion to Forgive…
4] Does your passion and God’s passion ‘hold hands’…?
5] And finally, Passion for Life
“Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.” /Hebbel/
Enthousiasm, my dear Asotite… εν+θεώ, which means ‘in God’..
SO i rephrase this quote :
“Nothing great in the world can ever been accomplished without enthousiasm. Enthousiasm is the fuel for our dreams” – Kalinka in ‘Chess’..
Brilliant move, Kalinka!
Now it’s my turn!
PASSION BREEDS ENTHUSIASM.
PASSION IS BOUNDLESS ENTHUSIASM.
The verb is my zahir
the enthusiasm of my soul is in the love
God’s mercy for the energy of Love grow in each of us
the love of God in us , for the love of the men of all races
Love.
the Love of God in the human love in my soul
the purity of the love gives unconditional love.
Amen
Thank you dear sido!
Annie

My machine have self-control from time to time.
By the way, did you see the pattern printed on the curtain veiled the house’s window at the Strange House?
Isn’t a “girl with a red hat”? Besides, look at the girl’s back.
What’s that? Wolf? Mommy? Grandma?
I was scared the scene in when I was young.
I haven’t seen a person using such a printed curtain.
My first impression too is so strange.
흐르지 못하는 사랑같은 그런 느낌이랄까.
Dear Supia,
“Girl with a red hat” could be a little brave soldier (the Pawn) who IS NOT AFRAID from the “wolf”… She is not afraid to be eaten. She is not afraid to make moves…
Much Love,
Ilva Asote
Dear Ilva Asote,
You’re right. Nevertheless, my first impression’s still same. An unique beauty, but strange.
P.S. I like your avatar, “two cherries as two eyes”.
Much Love,
Supia
Dear Supia,
Thanks for reply!
You say: “two cherries as two eyes”
Now I can rephrase: “Two cherries as two RED eyes. And an Albino…” Unique beauty.
Much Love,
Ilva
