“Eu vi a mulher preparando outra pessoa.

Fora Estranha Out Strange
(Caetano Veloso) (Caetano Veloso)
Eu vi o menino correndo eu vi o tempo I saw the boy I saw running time
Brincando ao redor do caminho daquele menino Playing around the way that boy
Eu pus os meus ps no riacho I put my feet in the creek
E acho que nunca os tirei And I think it never took
O sol ainda brilha na estrada e eu nunca passei The sun still shines on the road and I never went

Eu vi a mulher preparando outra pessoa I saw a woman preparing another person
O tempo no pra pr’eu olhar para aquela barriga Weather in pr’eu to look at that belly
A vida amiga da arte Life-friendly art
a parte que o sol me ensinou the part that taught me the sun
O sol que atravessa essa estrada que nunca passou Sun crossing the road that never came

So one out makes me sing
| Por isso essa fora estranha | So that was weird
That’s why I can not stop singing
| Por isso essa voz tamanha | So this voice such

Eu vi muitos cabelos brancos na fronte do artista Saw me many gray hairs on the forehead of artist
O tempo no pra e no entanto ele nunca envelhece Weather on to and yet he never ages
Aquele que conhece o jogo He who knows the game
Do fogo das coisas que so The fire of things that are
o sol the sun
a estrada the road
o tempo time
op op
E o cho And the cho
Eu vi muitos homens brigando ouvi seus gritos I saw many men fighting heard her cries
Estive no fundo de cada vontade encoberta Been to the bottom of each will covert
E a coisa mais certa de todas as coisas And the best thing of all things
No vale um caminho sob o sol In the valley a way under the sun
E o sol sobre a estrada And the sun on the road
o sol sobre a estrada the sun on the road
o sol the sun !! [From .. google!]

“This is the reason I am singing… Because I have the SUN .. guiding me in my PATH”

Beautiful song and lyrics! I wish I was there, singing with them.
Have a wonderful week.
LOVE,
Thelma xxx

Besos.
Adriana

Thank you, it’s delightful. I do not understand the words, but no words are needed to understand the music and emotions.
I love you!
