20 SEC READING: The Beloved Man (ENG, ESPA)

by Paulo Coelho on September 5, 2010

A Siberian shaman asked God to show him a man that He loved. The Lord advised him to look for a certain farmer.

“What do you do to make the Lord love you so much?” the shaman asked the farmer when he found him.
“I say His name in the morning. I work all day and say His name before going to sleep. That’s all,” the farmer replied.
I think I found the wrong man, thought the shaman.

Just then the Lord appeared and said, “Fill a bowl with milk, go to town and then return. Without spilling a single drop.”

The shaman did so. On his return, the Lord wanted to know how many times he had thought of Him.
“How could I? I was worried not to spill the milk!”

“A simple bowl made you forget Me,” said the Lord, “and the farmer, with all his tasks, thinks of me twice a day.”

The fact said in it is true…. I had read this in a different form, A conversation between Lord Vishnu(Hinduism) & Naradha Muni(a devotee)….. great to find it here.

This story reminded me of something I learnt the hardest way, yet I’m so grateful for the hardest way.
God is peace in the middle of the storm . The farmer had been able to transform his work into his prayer unlike the shaman who was still on his way toward enlightment.

A spiritual human being will never know the inner secrets of a person the way God does. This is what I got from this nice short story.

We are surrounded from so much lies that we just can’t see all how easy it is to find the kindness around us. I just wish that everyone could knew that. I wanna well this out to all the world but, in the mean time I do my extremely tiny part(for the moment):

It is said that people think mostly of God, in Hospitals and .. Cemeteries!;-]

I think that our communication with HIM is .. infinite and continuous! We may live in this three dimensional world, but inside us and … ‘above’ us, we are constantly ‘conversing’ with HIM in point ZERO! The omnipresent and timeless.. ‘The Light that lightens everyone who comes into Cosmos..’

Reading people’s minds?
Love’s LOVE can’t be greater than that.
Just right yesterday I had my heart warmed by this God’s message. I already knew it, but I hadn’t felt it yet.
“Come in my Joy and enjoy my kingdom with me, cause I m not here to reward you for the good or bad you carry with you, but to love you the way you are and heal what is hurt within you. Come! I am here to Love and give everyone my love which no one can claim to deserve more that one other.”
A good parent can’t make difference between their children no matter how good or bad are they. He will love them the same and there’s no place for pride or fear in Love.
“Believe in this love I have for you and you’ll have my kingdom in you.”

The Beloved Man? We all are!
Just open your eyes and see that. This is all we need to do, the rest comes by itself…

Love
Olta

“Irkoutsk (Russie) L’homme aime

It’s not a matter of distraction. It’s not or …or, but and… and. We can learn to spiritualise our actions and act on our spirituality. Let everything you say or do be born out of God. Feel His love and energy in every cell of your being. Bless everything you say or do.

Hai ragione.Mi é piacuto molto.
Sometimes,I dont ” believe” or Im not thinking in GOD, but, when I talk to him, only for a few seconds, I realize and I feel, that GOD is listening to me, and he is helping me…
The truth is that he is always waiting us, he is beside us, althougt we sometimes not realize.

I think work should not distract you from God and God should not distract you or deprive you from work!! We had a teacher who was incredibly distracted during his religious fasting of a month – did that help me in my studies?? NO! Should he fast as a full-time teacher?? He was almost like an addict distracted at prayer times!

Little wonder that the beloved man thought of God twice a day and in his personal time…for the rest of the day he was devoted to work :-)

Fasting shouldn’t distract on the contrary it makes you focused, ask anyone who fasts that holy month. It’s truly a blessing!

When i was little, i was drawing everything orange..well not everything, but what i loved or liked.. things/people that i loved , all these i painted them orange.. so my orange-era begun! I distinctly remember a horse that i painted orange, i still have it in an envelope along with other precious drawings when i was a kid..
this picture reminded me of this..

Also the story reminded me of a comedy-story about a person who made a confession to a church about his past, and said “Well, God, here I am now, and i know i have not been good, i have forgotten you, I have done bad things, but i need you now.. and I call on your name..although many women actually have said your name when i was sleeping with them…” hilarious scene..
but not the point..

the point is , as in the Alchemist, not to drop the teaspoon with the oil, but also never forget the marvels of the world.. balance of matter and soul with spirit..

Love and Gratitude
Annie
