Again we broke together another record: over 1.360.000 unique visitors in October. Here is the post for September, when I was celebrating over 1 million friends
I am glad to have this space to share with you my thoughts, my stories, people who changed my life, and people who changed other people lives.
So I repeat what I posted here in July:
a] How many people work here?
Only two: Suphi and I.
b] Is this a non-profit blog?
If you consider only monetary terms, the answer would be “yes”. The clicks on the online bookstores this month are less than 3.500, all buttons considered.
c] You did not answer my question: is this a non-profit blog?
NO! You cannot measure your rewards only in monetary terms. I believe that, by sharing texts of mine, and writing about my favorite characters, the poems and music I love, etc. is the best reward I can have.
Each and every one of us needs to contribute to a better world. Twitter, Facebook and this blog are my way to share things that I do believe can help us in this task.

Sur l’Agenda 2011 – Sagesse -
Comme c’etait sur mon passage,je me suis rendue a la FNAC.
Direction AGENDAS – RIEN -
Alors, j’ai poursuivi l’investigation..
La dame sur le pc a cherche, puis elle a trouve ,tout etait marque, jusqu’a present tout va bien, j’ai passe la commande.
Ah la les choses se sont compliquees. On le retrouvait plus.:)
ENfin, apres un petit moment passees ensemble, il s’est avere que l’Agenda n’est pas en vente au magasin, c’etait une question de choix il parait, choix de quoi choix de je sais pas, elle a demande a la personne a cote pour cela.
Bon,indisponible. C’est pas sage ca.
Enfin, sur le positif suis allee a la Tam pour prendre ma carte annuelle, les choses ont bien evoluees. J’ai presente celle de l’annee derniere, la facture EDF, la carte d’identite et la carte bancaire, et le truc que j’ai trouve sensationnel c’est qu’ils ont garde la photo de l’annee derniere. Je rajeunis. J’ai la peche maintenant!:)
et j’ai mis ma montre a l’heure.
J’ai lu que c’est en vente en ligne, mais zhe sais pas le faire.

Got this form a friend and was obliged to share it with you…
A minister passing through his church in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar and see who had come to pray.
Just then the back door opened, a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw the man hadn’t shaved in a while.
His shirt was kind a shabby and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head, Then rose and walked away.
In the days that followed, each noon time came this chap,each time he knelt just for a moment, A lunch pail in his lap.
Well, the minister’s suspicions grew, with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him, “What are you doing here?”
The old man said, he worked down the road. Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time, For finding strength and power.
“I stay only moments, see, because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord, This is kind a what I say:
“I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW H APPY I’VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER’S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON’T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDA Y.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM CHECKING IN TODAY.”
The minister feeling foolish, told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome To come and pray just anytime.
Time to go, Jim smiled, said “Thanks.”
He hurried to the door The minister knelt at the altar, he’d never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love, and met with Jesus there.
! A s the tears flowed, in his heart, he repeated old Jim’s prayer:
“I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I’VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER’S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON’T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY.”
Past noon one day, the minister noticed that old Jim hadn’t come.
As more days passed without Jim, he began to worry some.
At the factory, he asked about him, learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried, But he’d given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them, Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious. Changed people, were his reward.
The head nurse couldn’t understand why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came, Not a visitor he had.
The minister stayed by his bed, He voiced the nurse’s concern:
No friends came to show they cared. He had nowhere to turn.
Looking surprised, old Jim spoke up and with a winsome smile;
“the nurse is wrong, she couldn’t know, that in here all the while
everyday at noon He’s here, a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,Leans over and says to me:
“I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM, HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP, AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN. ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY, I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS CHECKING IN TODAY.”
Loved the prose-poetry… its we who make our lives complex.. else its so simple….
I only wrote this to remind something, determine impotatnt or not, I won’t stop against this injustice.

“Vous n’avez pas repondu a ma question: est ce que c’est un blog qui fait un benefice?”
“NON” – Vous ne pouvez pas mesurer vos recompenses seulement en termes monetaires. Je crois qu’en partageant mes textes et en ecrivant sur mes personnages favoris, les poemes et la musique que j’aime, etc est la meilleure recompense que je puisse recevoir.
Chacun d’entre nous a besoin de contribuer pour un meilleur monde. Twitter, Facebook et ce blog sont ma facon de partager les choses qui, je crois, peuvent nous aider dans cette tache.

Non mi è mai capitato di essere cancellata e questo ti fa onore, anche se io scrivo sempre cosa penso e non sempre è in linea con il pensiero comune. Sono spesso un uccellino fastidioso che becchetta qua e là se non sono daccordo con ciò che si propone, ma grazie a te e a Suphi, posso esprimere la mia opinione liberamente.

I’m really happy to have witnessed the evolution of your blog since my first post in 2006 May during the twentieth anniversary of the Road. Though with scattered visits to your blog I was always keeping track of you in your agenda and through your interviews while I was at the Internet café waiting for the bus home to come. So glad that now I have 24 hours access to the web and that I’m in touch with really wonderful people I met because of you. It was a tradition at my home that we, as children, got each an adventscalendar on december 1st. each day in december, we opened a little window until dec 24. the adventscalendar had a great picture; and each little window that we opened showed a new little picture.
This blog is an adventscalendar for a whole year. I know, I will find a couple of presents each wednesday & sunday. and then between those days, the little windows to open up come from all over the world.
This has been the first year that I joined this blog. and as a whole, it helped me to clarify many things, to go through a tough time with more balance & awareness, & enjoy life more.
Thank you, Paulo & Suphi, for all your input & efforts – and especially for your persistence of keeping this blog going.
Paulo, you found a style to talk & “educate” (heart put it in great words) that appears to speak to everyone on this planet.

Since then I have become your follower. Needless to say, I’ve read all your books and read them again and again. The world needs you. Please keep on sharing your wisdom with us.
P Coelho is best beloved writer. Once, he writes a comment or a status in his page (Twitter, face book). Hundreds to Thousands like,comment, and re tweet in few seconds.
I see on Twitter that both you and Christina went to vote in the Brazilian election today. We have election in the US coming Tuesday. I’m surprised if the only way to vote in 2010′s Brazil is by showing up locally in person. Myself, I already pre-voted by a mail-in ballot, and don’t have to worry about changing my schedule on election day to vote.
One of the things i love about your blog and twitter is how you share freely all of what you are, in a complete innovative up to date using all new technological inventions. I learn more here than I did in the university! Your ‘subject’ isn’t limited just to literature an language, its cross discipline and pretty much more of a school of life, than a dry, dead academical setting.
The fact that we are no doubt building strong relationships between people from all corners of the world is to me amazing. Thanks be to you Mr Paulo, my dear secret shaman, I’m blossoming. You and your blog and all the wonderful bloggers are the bees of my rose :)

Numbers of kisses to match the record of dozens of thousands of people..
It is amazing to watch something grow so much over five and a half years. I’m glad to have been a part of everything for so long and enjoy all the stories and wonderful happenings from all over the world.
There is movement, an increase in awareness, and for me this diagram is there to draw a reality: more and more people being part of the divine plan are aware and active in that action that is in the inferior and superior worlds simultaneously. Yes, I do try to act in my environment, in my life, in the same attitude, one of sharing light and going beyond the sole reward of money and or success as viewed by most of the souls, who are taught to see it as such. I decided to put my wage for my work lower, in an attitude of giving my universal share (dime) and to give accessibility. I decided to include in the approaches taught to help the other (I am a therapist in human relations) the approach of the Warrior of Light, the vision of the superior awareness. I now speak what for me needs and has to be spoken and I try to transmit what has been transmitted to me, knowing that there is still to come and that this will never cease. I always talk to others about going to your blog being a place to learn, to share, to develop awareness and undergo the path of each’s personal legend. I am happy to see that more and more are coming to the blog and are attracted. And as I recognize your involvement and of Suphi I must recognize myself and all of us who share the same vision.
