When he was still a young man, Beethoven decided to compose a few improvisations on a music by Pergolesi. He devoted months to this task and finally had the courage to publish it.
A critic wrote a full page review in a German newspaper in which he launched a ferocious attack on the music.
Beethoven, however, was quite unshaken by his comments. When his friends pressed him to respond to the critic, he merely said:
‘All I need to do is to carry on with my work. If the music I compose is as good as I think it is, then it will survive that journalist.
“If it has the depth I hope it has, it will survive the newspaper too.
“Should that ferocious attack on what I do ever be remembered in the future, it will only serve as an example of the imbecility of critics.’
Beethoven was absolutely right.
Over a hundred years later, that same review was mentioned in a radio programme in São Paulo.

bethooven just did what was needed to be done during his lifetime. he’s not invulnerable to criticisms, he was the same as the next person.the only difference is Bethooven followed what his heart told him to do.

Beethoven was beethoven….because he was beethoven…with or without criticism n praise …he knew who he was…he knew what lay hidden within the soil of his soul n he knew wat he dreamt that soil to produce…
If n only if i know who i am , wat i want to be,n where i want to go can i be so strong , as to take criticism n praise in their real sense n meaning….as incidents in a larger story…..but if my boat just drifts aimlessly n effortlessly in the waters, then any small ripple can effect.

Beethoven is world famous personality. Being Postive drives away negative energy and brings in new hope and success. Dnt care what the world says juz proceed towards your goal sky is the limit. Slow and steady wins the race.

After reading the above posts, I now feel compelled to research the life of Beethoven. I do know that when facing adversity that I repeat to myself a saying that I heard as a child “This is no hill for a climber”…this is not hill for a climber…this is no hill for a climber. It works for me.
The world unfortunately is full of those who are jealous of other’s success and what they have accomplished or what they are trying to achieve. You must always think of yourself as above this type of rhetoric and move on and away. Close your ears and eyes! If not, you allow negativity to invade your personal space. It’s difficult, but with practice you can become a master. Peace, love and light to all!

No toda las criticas son malas de ellas aprendemos muchas veces , ellas nos ayudan a mejorar a ver hacia adentro. Ahora cuando son destructivas o estan llenas de emocones como la rabia , ahi es cuando no debemos dejarnos influenciar y seguir. A fin de cuentas buenas o malas siempre segimos y hacemos lo que amamos.
Voltando ao genio da musica,veio predestinado,começo aos tres anos…..e agora a critica,(quem ama cuida).
Mas nem sempre quem critica te poe para cima.ou te ama incondicionalmente.

Criticas no son buenas, lo mejor es ignorarlas! si buscas agradar a otras personas con tu personalidad y tu comportamiento, debes elegir hablar y escuchar buenos comentarios de/con personas positivas…los malos desecharlos o ignorarlos…la vida es pesada como para escuchar depresiones de otras personas hacia la nuestra…hay que hablar positivamente para que nuestra mente se lo crea y asi crear nuestro mundo como nos lo imaginamos.

Alors qu’il était encore un jeune home, Beethoven décida de composer quelques improvisations sur une musique de Pergolesi. Il consacra des mois à sa tâche et eu finalement le courage de la publier.
Un critique écrit une pleine page dans un journal allemand dans laquelle il lança une féroce attaque à la musique.
Beethoven resta néanmoins inébranlable face à ces commentaires. Quand un ami lui pressa de répondre à la critique, il répondit simplement :
« Tout ce que j’ai à faire c’est de continuer mon travail. Si la musique que je compose est aussi bonne que je le pense, alors je survivrai à ce journaliste ».
« Si elle a la profondeur que j’espère, elle survivra aussi au journal »
« Si à l’avenir on se rappellera de cette attaque féroce sur ce que je fais, cela servira d’exemple à l’imbécillité des critiques. »
Beethoven avait tout à fait raison.
Quelques siècles plus tard, cette même critique a été mentionnée dans un programme de radio à São Paulo.

His Life IS and ODE TO JOY….I m so in love with him..
I experienced signigicant problems with my ears last August and September and it was hell..it was a painful experience..so i can understand how bad must have been, though to a very miniscule level in comparison, but my heart and soul go out to him..
Thank you Paulo for being also a thriver .. you are remarkable <3<3 you too will live forever and always be remembered and live through your books…

Cuanto más me critican , mejor me siento porque a través de ello sigo creciendo, me doy cuenta lo importante que es lo que hago o digo, recibo la fortaleza para contunuar creyendo que sí se puede salir adelante.
la critica vale solo per l’importanza che noi le prestiamo…quella gratuitamente cattiva e’ la peggiore.La prima critica va mossa verso noi stessi.A volte si accetta senza mai condividere.Del resto il nostro modo di essere o di concepire e’talmente unico.Molto spesso ,in quasi tutti gli ambienti ,o proprio tutti si guarda all’esteriorita’,dopo forse si scorge quello che veramente ognuno di noi rappresenta.
